Em uninstalled "start up faster" addon im on firefox version 4 and yet when i try to install again i get the error message create service failed , can anyone tell me how to resolve this , i would like to make sure i get this addon back

im on firefox 4 ,recently ,i tried new addon for firefox 4 called start up faster, i removed it, just as comparison to see boot up times , and then when i tried to install again i get the message create service failed, the icon stays on my desktop, want to check this addon is still performing its role, or could i fix something to make sure its properly on my addon list, thank you,

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Yes. The upgrade broke your CS4 install. You have to reinstall.
Easiest way to fix this is to download the installer Download CS4 products and have your serial number at the ready.
Then you will need to download and install the updates for Photoshop, Camera Raw, and Bridge here: Product updates
There is a Terminal fix, but you have to be familiar with Terminal and running the python license Repair script. You will need the bash shell on your user account. If that makes sense to you, we can try that.

uninstall acrobat, clean (if windows os), Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs and then reinstall.

Could you post your diagnostics for us please?
In iTunes, go "Help > Run Diagnostics". Uncheck the boxes other than DVD/CD tests, as per the following screenshot:

Close all apps completely and reboot the iPad. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Hi stripers
You will either a) need to connect to WiFi and complete the download or b) dock your iPad and remove it from the apps list once synced (your iTunes will more then likely want to complete the download first also, which you may be able to cancel in the downloads section).

There should be nothing native to the OS X which would ask for a password
or other information on a restart, unless accompanied by the traditional login
box with your user name.
There are adware or marginal products that could be called malware (bad)
that would impose their presence and some items that could have been
downloaded by accident or through some corrupted free software site; of
those some could ask for and gain permission to go through your Mac
and maybe even run in the background to do other nefarious misdeeds.
You could see if startup in SafeBoot allows you access past that the Completer.
Since I don't have a pile of helpful article links on how to resolve various issues
I'd be looking them up one way or another.

Would you like to locate it?" When I select yes I'm sent to a screen that has my i tunes library listed. When I select the song in question I'm asked if I would like to open the song. When I select this option I get nothing. The songs I have downloaded must be somewhere because they are listed in my i tunes library and on the screen I've been sent to. I can't the songs to play however. This is not true of all of my songs but it is true of quite a few of them. Actually, one song is too many. How do I get my music to play that seems to be locked up somewhere in the computer?

Presuming they're on your computer, right click on them and then follow the prompts to locate hte file on your computer.

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Besides not typing in all caps... you probably have Pro Tools installed, the Avid/Digi Core Audio MIDI driver is not compatible with Lion.
It has to be removed... Look in ~/Library/Audio/MIDI Drivers
Seriously, we tend to ignore Dweebs that type in all caps
