EMac having problems starting up
Hello everyone. I need some help with my mac at the moment. It is currently running 10.4.7 and the mac will not show anything in the screen but the light next to the CD drive flashes 2 times about every 5 seconds. Also, when it turns on, the Mac makes a weird noise instead of the classic Apple chime. The screen stays black and will not show anything at all. I will appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks to everyone in advanced!
Power On Self-Test Beep Definition shows one beep / two flashes as the indicator of no RAM installed (if you have the system sound muted or set very low, you might not hear any beep). Has there been any recent power outages or power surges that you know of which could have damaged the computer's RAM? Try cosmichobo's suggestion to pull and re-seat the RAM, amking sure the thumb clips have snapped in place to lock the DIMMs in the sockets. I have a 2009 MacBook Pro which I have upgraded a few things on. I have updated to Yosemite and am having problems with getting my laptop to come out of sleep mode, and to start when shut off. Any ideas of what this might be or how to correct it? Is this more probably a hardware issue or software?
Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
4. Reinstall Yosemite: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall OS X from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Download and install the 10.10.1 update.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless.
5. Reinstall Yosemite from Scratch:
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.

Having problem starting server
I am running into this problem starting server in weblogic 9.1, The server changes to RUNNING mode but throws this error after this .

Having problems starting CS2 Premium products
Having problems with photoshop & illustrator. Getting eror messages that There is a serious problem with CS2 and I need to reinstall the software. I've uninstalled and reindtalled 3 times already. Problem seems fixed after I reinstall but comes back next time I ope either application.
Running Mac os x 10.6.8Time to upgrade. CS2 is not supported under anything later than 10.4.x and is not Intel native.

Having problems starting Web Services... need help!
I'm running Mac Server 10.5.7 currently configured for email and I've just decided to start hosting websites. The problem I'm having is that Web Services will fail to start with any sites configured. Web Services will start if I don't have any sites configured. I've messed around with the Terminal app using some advice from online posts, but that didn't help. I'm not even sure I did it right.

Since posting this question I've installed mySQL, but I'm not exactly sure what it does.
I've tried changing to the httpd.conf file, but nothing is working. All I get when I type in "localhost" is cannot "connect to web server". At least before I was getting the "apple default page".
Need some advice on how to get this all straightened out. Looks like I made a pretty good mess of things.

MSI P45 Neo-F: Computer having problem starting up, and crushes frequently
Hello,
I have the following rig:
Pentium Dual Core E5200
MSI P45 Neo-F
2x2GB Kingston DDR2 RAM
Seasonic 500W SS-500ET
The problem is that when i start the comp, i won't start up (the computer gets power, and the fans\hd are spinning, but nothing show up and no beeps).
I have to do several resets and wait for a few minutes in order for it to start. I get a few bsods, resets, and finally, the windows is up.
When I work in windows, I get freezes and BSODs from time to time.
I tried to:
-disconnect all drives
-disconnect all USB peripherals
-disconnect TV tuner and Sound Card
-disconnect every other memory slot, one for each time
-ran Memtest86 - the memory came out fine
-ran Intel burn test - which failed
-ran furmark - passed ok.
-changed the PSU.
-the CPU's temratures are fine (around ~35 c)
I think the problem is in the MB, as this behavior is not common for CPU failure. The comp crushed randomly, not when it is loaded.
Can somebody comfirm it?
What can I do?

I am new to WebLogic and I was looking at the webservices examples in samples dir and I took the example and just moved it to one of my currently deployed Web Application folder and changed the dir strutcure instead of the samples dir strutcure, compiled and deployed as standalone Application(not as part of my currently deployed Web App). It worked fine.
Then since there would be a need for reuse of lot of the current Web App. in the web services we are trying to implement, I tried to put the ear that got created in the WEB-INF/lib of the currently deployed exploded dir. It was pretty dumb to put the ear there, just thought, worst case it wont work, I thought I could pull the ear out of there. But seems like this changed the entire config.xml and ever since that my admin server got changed to myserver, I corrected all the problems with the admin server and admin server and node server they come up just fine. When trying to bring up Managed server, I get the following excpetion

Could someone help me with resolving this.(This is only the dev machine, I played thannkfully!).
And also would like to get suggestions on setting up the new webserverces that we are trying to do. If I need to reuse lot of class files from current appl., how do i go about implementing this webservice? Should this be part of the existing application? or Web service could be a separate application and somehow we could look at the web app which is in the same domain.

AnnaThere was an access problem in the application I was trying to deploy and it had nothing to do with EAR file, once the access problem is taken care of, I could deploy the app just fine.

Apex install on 10.2 - Needed Apache having problems starting
Hi,
I am trying to get Apex running on a 10.2 database (Linux 64). To do so I need a webserver so I downloaded
the companion and installed. During the install I was asked to place into a new Oracle home so I did so. After the install I have been unable to start the HTTP Server. I've searched and saw that some people hav ehad issues with ports so I have tried modifying them with no success. The logs under opmn haven't been very helpful. I'm starting to wonder if the new Oracle Home may be involved.
Any idea on what might be wrong or where I can get additional information would be appreciated.

Having problem starting my cluster after my servers have been relocated
crsctl check crs hands indefinitely. CRS is healthy on only 1 node, #1 in the cluster. Please help.

If you can see all the nodes, do the following:
#$CRS_HOME/bin>./crsctl disable crs
#$CRS_HOME/bin>reboot
After systems comes back up......run:
#$CRS_HOME/bin>./crsctl start crs
#tail /var/log/messages
paste the output here......to see what exactly is going on........ BTW crsctl disable crs only stop crs stack to auto-start in next reboot. You can always say 'crsctl enable crs' to put it back.

1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at the top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair. Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
Does it boot into any of these modes?

Having problems starting up my Aspire E1-532 - something with HDD
Hello, as I mentioned in the title I have a hard times starting up my Aspire E1-532, after pressing power button, the notebook starts up (i hear all the coolers and everything power up) and then suddenly all stops and just power icon is on and the third one the HDD indicator just keeps flashing... And it takes a lot of time till he turns up... Is this something I can fix or I need to see a professional? I think HDD cant load itself for some reason. Pleae help me, thank you
Nothing, screen doesnt start..After power button computer starts then immediately dies although power indicator is on and HDD indicator keeps flashing and thats it.. it may start sooner or later but this time it took a really long time.. it may not even start anytime soon

Problem starting weblogic server
Can I use third party libraries with the evaluation copy of the weblogic
server?
I am having problems starting the weblogic server with third party
libraries (i.e. oralce's sqlj's translator.zip, runtime.zip and
classes2.zip). The following exception is thrown when the server is
initialising:
Can someone explain what is wrong please?

After close server i was restart server two time but my alert file show same error.HI..
Shutdown the standby database, copy the controlfile to the locations you want, edit the pfile and add the locations of the controlfiles in contfrol_files parameter , save it and startup nomount pfile='location';
Then mount the standby database and create spfile from pfile;

I have an issue with a person who was withdrawn/separated in SAP. They were rehired, then a subsequent correction to the REHIRE action. Is SAP supposed to do a +1 to the date for infotype 0000 when processing the Correction? It does not act that way
