Emac went to 9.2.2 now screen is tiny

Aloha--
I initialized over osx and installed 9.2.2 (for necessary legacy software not compat with 9 running in x)...OS 9 runs fine but now the visible screen in limited to a small box in the middle of the display.
The monitors control panel does not let me change the resolution or screen size.
I used an emac os9 install disc.
Any Ideas?

I am having the same issue with my church's eMac used by the youth group there. A youth group member downloaded and updated the software a day or so ago, then today, while attempting to use iMovie (which wouldn't export back out to the camera... another new issue we didn't have before--but that's for a different discussion board) the display suddenly shrunk down and is now centered on the screen.
When I restart the machine, it starts out alright, but then when it goes the blue startup screen from the grey screen, the display shrinks right down again. I tried to zap the pram and that didn't work.
System prefs indicates that the setting is 1024X768, but it obviously isn't and iMovie won't even open saying the screen size is incorrect. When I set the screen resolution to 800X600, the display again fills the entire screen. When I boot from the OSX CD, everything is fine.
Any suggestions?

Also, restore cd 1 will not eject so the computer will no longer move past the gray screen with spinning circle. Restore CDs had never beeused and were still in packaging in the original box. Ran hardware test just to check, and it came back as normal. Now what? I live nowhere near a genius bar :(

That's called a kernel panic...
Since the install disc won't eject, try starting up while holding down the C key. If the Mac won't boot while holding down the C key, try ejecting disc by either holding down the mouse while starting up or holding down the Eject key while starting up.
Try booting from your install disc so you can run Disk Utility in case the startup disk needs repairing.
Insert your install disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu and launch Disk Utility.
(In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first from the installer menu)
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your startup disk and click Restart
While you have the Disk Utility window open, look at the bottom of the window. Where you see Capacity and Available. Make sure there is always 15% free space.

Is your computer still authorized in the Store menu in iTunes?

When I changed to my new MacBookPro I had to authorize it although I used TimeMachine to transfer my settings and data.
Did you try to deselect Wi-Fi syncing and enable it again after that?

IPods screen went black but assisted touch on screen still works? What's would be wrong?? I have dropped it and the lower volume button went partly in side the IPod (thats why i had the assisted touch on) and its been working very slowly fore the last week or so. but other then that it was fine.

With the information given, If the screen is completely black even after the reset, it's sounds as a hardware issue
Could be : The battery
The charger
The phone itself
You can narrow these down one by one preferably.
-If you have an extra battery, test it.
-Try another charging cable or another outlet
If neither of those affect it, you can also wipe the phone, but that's pretty much the last last step you should do since it erases everything. Then restoring it. Time varies.
If you are still having trouble, contacting your carrier, the closest Apple Store, or the technical support line for Apple.

I dropped my iPad today and immediately the screen was completely distorted. Colors changed, images fuzzy, slow as can be, very hard to turn off or turn on. What is INCREDIBLE is the way they suggested to resolve it. I was hesitant at first but since SEVERAL people all said that it worked, I figured to give it a try. A few people suggested SLAPPING THE BACK OF THE IPAD, NOT GENTLY, BUT FIRMLY. A few good slaps and it looked a bit better. Then my husband decided to DROP THE IPAD FROM ABOUT 2 FEET IN THE AIR ONTO THE CARPET, in a totally horizontal position. THE SCREEN IS NOW PERFECT!!
For the last 2 or three weeks, the iPad has been very slow to load my apps, turning on and shutting down. AS SOON AS I DROPPED THE IPAD, as described above, THE IPAD IS FAST, FAST, FAST.

My first gen Ipod went in the wash and now I cannot get wifi on it.

Well my first generation ipod touch accidently went in the wash, and now when its working again I cannot get any wifi on it. I have tried reset the network settings and the ipod my still no luck.

Reinstalling the usb driver in win7 by going to device mgr/ portable devices and then directing the computer to search the apple folder ...

Hold the power key for 10+ seconds.
Then see if you can boot into the recover partition to repair the disk or try a reinstall.

This is Linda again. The new iPad actually as not restored on my employees computer. I thought it was working. Message said the device is in recovery mode and can not be restored. When you say not getting anything - do you mean no sounds, beeps, etc?
It is possible that your Mac's motherboard or power supply are damaged.
