Email a photo
i do not undersand how i can email a photo directly from aperture, but changing the file size. say that i have a 18 mb tiff and i want to email a smaller one. in iphoto i can do that simply in the email box. can i do something similar or i have to export to another location (changing size) and later email?

Simply select the photo or photos you'd like to email, then go to File --> Email. You can than select exactly what size you'd like to export with the given presets.

I have several users in an exchange environment who cannot email a photo from the iPhone. When the click on Email Photo, they are prompted to configure a mail account even though there is already an exchange account in place. How do I remediate this? Not all of the users in our environment have this issue. If the users having this issue, install a secondary email account, Gmail, Hotmail, etc, then they can send through those accounts. Why would the exchange account not be seen to send photos?
Sounds like it worked until the policies associated with the account that are creating the problem were fully pushed down.
Try setting up a new (test) Exhange account and see if it behaves the same way on the phone (after removing the problem account from the phone, of course). -
How to email multiple photos in one email-PS Lightroom 4
Hi,
I would like to email multiple photos in one email. Is there a way to do this? Right now I understand how to email 1 photo at a time. I am using the Mac Version of Lightroom 4.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers,
LourdesYes.
If you select more than one photo in either the Grid or the Film Strip and then go to File>Email Photos… it will send all that are selected. . -
I'm no longer able to select the file size when emailing a photo. How can I solve this? iPhone 4S with iOS 7.1.1. Thanks a lot.
Yeah - I tried that, several times; each time I get "iTunes is restoring the software on this iPhone" and after about 30 minutes the screen on the phone lights up again with the same screen I had before. After that ... nothing.

I want to email a photo through iPhoto but it says I need a password... I entered my password but it says it doesn't match - what password do they want and how do I fix? (Facebook and other social media iPhoto posts work - just email asking for password)
Your email password.
iPhoto '11: Email your photos
Open Mac Mail. From the Mac Mail menu bar click Mail > Preferences then select the General tab.
Make a selection from the: Default email reader pop up menu. -
When I send an email, a photo appears after my name in the sender line. How do I get rid of it?
I don't have a signature set up, but did a little research. Someone posted that these will show up when I send an email to myself, but will not show up when sent to another person. I sent a test email to a friend to check for sure.

How can I email a photo in jpeg so it arrives as attachment to an email please
How can I email a photo in jpeg so it arrives as attachment to an email please
I use Safari email
There is no Safari email. Do you mean you use a Web Based email service like Yahoo or Gmail and access it via Safari?
sent the photo from iPhoto by following on screen instructions under 'share' in iPhoto
Iphoto sends HTML emails so that will never send as an attachment.

I cannot email a photo using iPhoto "share. I keep getting "username/password not recognized". I used to use this function all the time but all of a sudden, I keep getting this message.
In iPhoto, open Preferences (under iPhoto in the menu bar) and click the "Accounts" tab on top. Make sure your email account(s) is/are set up there correctly, just as they are in Apple's Mail. Make sure the password in included.

iphoto allows you to share photos by selecting them and then emailing as an attachment. I'm not able to do that now, curser isn't appearing in the email address box when I attempt to address my email. Photos are attaching but not able to include an address.
Windows Phone 8.1 is so full of surprises and opens the Windows Phone faithful up to a new world of apps.
Video editors and
file managers are just some of the new app categories possible thanks to Windows Phone 8.1. We’ve seen an official video editing app from Microsoft already, but today we finally get Files – the official file manager for Windows Phone. -
I am trying to email a photo from iphoto using my gmail account. I am receiving this error that my email server doesn't recognize my username/password. I do have a different password for Gmail, should that matter? How can I correct this?
in the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete your e-mail account and reenter it
OR
IMHO the better solution is to set Apple mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

I'm trying to email a photo from one of my iPhoto albums, however I'm getting an error message that says "The email server didn’t recognize your username/password combination." Any ideas? I can't find any help in Apple on-line support.
Never mind. I was able to find the solution via an earlier post from West. Thank you!

I can't email a photo directly from iPhoto. First, I only have two "themes" to choose from instead of 8, and when prompted to fill in the "to" and "from", the "from" box has "MobileMe" already in it, and I can't get rid of or change it. I have OSXLion
I understand, as that was the place I would change it before 8.3 but now that option of Mail Days to Sync is not available? Any idea why that would be?

Different max photo sizes in emails, beams, photo stream?
I've noticed differences in file sizes when emailing photos from the iPhoto app, when inserting in an email, and when emailing directly from the photo. I've found that iOS 6 is able to send the largest file when inserting it into an email. If I select email from iPhoto, the full size option is a fraction of that. If I email a photo directly from the photo itself, the full size seems to be somewhere in-between. I sent a panoramic photo three times, once using each method. Each time I selected to send the FULL file sizes, and each time they were different:
iPhoto: 1918K
insert in email: 12004K
email from photo itself: 3529K
Is there a reason iOS 6 does this?
Why are the full photo file sizes not universal?
Are the max file sizes being uploaded to photo stream?
What is the best way to get the largest photo jpg off of the iPhone aside from syncing?John,
You have several options for re-sizing photos, though (continuing from what V.K. has already stated). If you want to "customize" the size of each photo, you'll need to do so before you attach them to an email. They can be re-sized in iPhoto, or they can be opened in Preview and exported as whatever size you like.
If your images are in iPhoto, select one, then choose File>Export. Use the export dialogue to select the size and compression of the resulting file, save it to someplace like your Desktop, then attach it to an email. The choices, here, are the same as they would be within Mail, but will be applied on an image-by-image basis.

When I try to send an email with photo attachment on my iPad a screen appears which states " the sender is not recognized by the server" . What do I have to change so I can always send emails fr om my iPad with or without attachments. I am a novice!!!!!!
If you purchased about 2 years ago new I am sure it is a Intel iMac. To find out what type of iMac you have just click on the Apple menu item in the finder and select about this Mac. I would check the ISP mail site and get the correct outgoing mail server info.
