Email account deleted cant reset apple id

My kids have locked the ipad by doing the password too many times as i changed it because the played to much and i had to reset it through itunes, but during the reset process it asked for my Icloud account ********@yahoo.com (hiding my email through *****) it asked me for the old email that i used to activate find my iphone but now i use ******@hotmail.com and i cannot reactive the ipad. I've forgotten the security questions for the *******@yahoo.com and when i tried to reset it my yahoo account had already been deleted for being inactive for a year? Any suggestions on this? My kids want to use the Ipad and so do i. I have used multiple ways to fix this problem such as changing my current email to the email i had before but that did not work as my old email was already registered any help on this?

Unfortunately, i'm not able to call to apple directly dont know why? is it right for this phone number: (800) MY-IPHONE (800-694-7466)??? cos currently i'm living in Viet nam not in US but the apple support in viet nam with the phone number which i got from apple website does not work either

Reseting mail to factory defaults - all email accounts deleted

To make a long story short I have hosed up my mail database on OSX server 10.5.8. I have a virtual host set up for email and following the directions in Apple's documentation I set up an alias on my admin account (501) for mydomain.com and another one for [email protected] I tested by sending an email to [email protected] and it appeared in both mydomain.com and myseconddomain.com account. It could not be deleted. Any mail box I created in either account could not be deleted.
I installed "siradmin" and the mail accounts that were created under these circumstances showed up along with accounts that had been set up without a myseconddomain alias. I was unable to give them ACL to let me delete. I can not find them in /var/spool/users/imap. A couple of them did show up under /var/spool/users and those I could us siradmin to add an ACL and delete.
I rebooted and tried siradmin again and now the only mailboxes showing up in the list are
INBOX
Shared Folders/Deleted Messages
Shared Folders/Drafts
Shared Folders/Sent Messages
Shared Folders/fdds
Shared Folders/read
The last two entries were the ones I was trying to get rid of originally.
I have spent most of the day trying to resolve the issue.
The mail client works fine the their respective accounts now, however I have all the shared folders showing up and siradmin will not see the accounts that are active.
So now I see two solutions - reinstall server (shudder) and start over or someone has the brilliant answer on how to set the mail database back to square one and set up the email accounts from scratch (would be much easier)
No worries on lost email it has all been saved to another app, actually the one I was trying to retire.

Delete email account without hard reset?

I recently updated my Samsung Galaxy S3 to Android 4.1.1. Shortly thereafter (and perhaps coincidentally), I could not connect to one of my email accounts (my Yahoo account, if it matters). Other email accounts are still functioning normally, so the problem is limited to this one account. I would like to delete the account and start over, but I receive a message that the this email account is used by other apps, and the only way to remove it is by performing a hard reset to factory settings. Is there way around this hassle? Thanks in advance for the help!

Same issue.. Not sure I like the new google voice search either. It used to show the Web Call Map in the search results, now I have to open it in in the map to get to the call feature. Extra steps google, why'd you do it? Verizon fix your yahoo email. This is rediculous to have this many issues with an email client that were trying to delete and read it for a solution.

How can I verify my iCloud account if I can not access the primary email account associated with my Apple ID?

The email address I had set for my Apple ID when I had originally signed up was through my college. I have been out of college now for a few years and the email account has been deleted. I was trying to set up iCloud on my iPad and iPhone but it says I need to access the account to verify through email. I have tried to change my Apple ID email to my current email address but it tells me I can not do this either because that email is set up as my rescue email. How can I change my primary email address for my Apple ID or get my iCloud verified in this situation I'm in?

Go to http://appleid.apple.com and click 'Manage your account'. You will be able to change the non-Apple email address you use as a login. You will then need to log out and in again on all your devices.

DELETED EMAIL ACCOUNT / DELETED NOTES ON IPHONE5

I Just deleted my Universito email account (outlook) from my emails account because I have finished from the University and they closed/deactivated all our email accounts. However, I did not realise that some notes were associated with it, so now because I deleted that account A LOT of my relevant NOTES and contacts are gone with it.
I would appreciate it if someone could please help me out !

Basically what your looking at in on the Accounts page of the Notes App is where you are saving the notes. On this iPhone, notes are saved on this iPhone and don't sync to other devices. You say you see an account for your Apple ID. I don't know what you mean cause I've not seen that. I do have an iCloud account that syncs to other devices and I created the account in Settings > iCloud > Notes and I was prompted to create the account. If that's what you mean by Apple ID account simple copy and paste the notes from the On this iPhone account to the iCloud account to sync across your devices

I would like to know how to sync all my email across all my Apple devices (ipone 4s,new iPad and MacBook Pro)
I have various emails for personal and business and it's a little frustrating having to keep going through all my email accounts on all my devices and removing emails I have already read. There has to be some solution?
Unfortunately some the emails accounts that I have are on pop and not exchange servers.
Help would be appreciated.

well I just opened my mail in iphone and went to the trash
clicked on edit
and scrolled way down to the very bottom
it says delete and by golly it deleted ALL of them

I receive DAILY emails about how to reset my Apple ID password even though I have not requested a password reset. I am beginning to suspect foul play. The email from Apple says I should not worry - someone just probably mis-typed their email address, but, seriously, every day? Any suggestions?

In the Actions box select Preferences
Select the Email Notifications Preferences tab
Set the values as you like

delete any that show

With Vista, this can be with Outlook 2003 or 2007, or with the address book used by Windows Mail with Vista - which is the name change for Outlook Express with Vista. The address book is called Windows Contacts I believe and the sync option for contact info is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences.

Did you actually change your Apple ID or just the email address associated within the Apple ID? I don't think you can actually change the Apple ID. That's why it is asking for the new password with the old ID.
Lime so many other sites, an account name, in this case your Apple ID, has a unique Login (the Apple ID) and a password. The contact for that account (your new email address) is just associated with the account.

Main Email account deletion?

My wife picked up our new droids yesterday and when she did they had to put in an email address from gmail. Per verizon rep. I do not want that email account. In fact I already deleted it from Gmail.
Now when I try to delete the account from my Droid, it says I have to set it back to the factory defaults. Which I assume will erase all my contacts, apps, and everything else.
Any one have a way of deleting it without setting it back to factory default?

I would have to totally agree with SketchX51! You have to create a gmail account when you first activate it. When first powering up the device, it asks you to create your gmail account, motoblur, and any other social network account that you want to add. You don't necessarily have to use that particular email address UNLESS you want to use any of the apps made by Google (i.e., Google Talk, Maps, Latitude, etc.). Otherwise, its not mandatory to use, but mandatory to create. Does this make sense? I hope it helped

Can i have 2 different email accounts on the same apple id?

I have an iPad and an iPad mini. They're both registered with my apple id, although my son uses the mini. He wants an email address and I've set one up for him. I have my email on my ipad. But the mini asks me to verify my email address as the contact address for my apple id - does that mean I can't have 2 different emails addresses?

You can have any number of devices on one Apple ID.
Secondly, each device can be set up with a range of different email addresses.
All that is required is that your Apple ID has to be verified (proven) with one email address - that means that Apple will contact you, send you receipts etc. using that email address.
I have several email addresses and have them set up differently on different apple devices so you will absolutely be able to do what you want.
One tip though - when you set up an email address, it would be worth going to whichever ISP (service provider) you are using for that email address and doing a search on the web of whatever,to find out what the best portable apple device settings would be - sometimes special settings are needed.

I have an X6. I set up one email account (yahoo), which I now removed. Everything shows it is as gone but I still get the standard ring tone when my yahoo account gets a message.
Any ideas?

have you removed it correctly following these steps
From the Email launcher screen on your device, select the Settings icon.
Scroll to the account you want to remove.
Select Options - Remove mailbox.
Select Yes.

Cant reset apple tv using itunes

Apple TV went stupid. Could not reset via unplugging power.
Tried to use ITunes, as per instructions, to reset - but ITunes wont recognize its existence, when plugged in via micro USB.
Tried a few times.
Gnashing teeth, rending garments.
General despondency reigns at the moment.
Any suggestions much appreciated.

Make sure you're following instructions exactly (unplug all cables, connect micro usb, if using a 3rd gen ATV reconnect power). Connect directly to computer, not a keyboard port or USB hub. Try a different cable.
