Email account is not currently accessible using BB internet service
Hi,
I got message from RIM that my email account is not currently accessible by my BB device since Friday, August 20, 2010. Before that date is fine.
The message is exactly the same as in this forum http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Curve-BlackBerry-8300/Email-not-accessible-from-Bl... but following the instructions did not solve the problem.
Our company mail server running using Postfix with IMAP, IMAP-SSL, POP3, POP3-SSL supported.
We can access the mailbox either using Webmail or mail client software such as MS Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.
We also already reset the configuration of the BB using Email Settings but still the email did not come to our BB.
Your help is highly appreciated.

This problem has been solved. The problem is in RIM DNS. Their DNS can not resolve to my domain *.net-zap.com eventhough testing using cache.opendns.com to *.net-zap.com is fine.

UserID: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxWell, I have some good news. After spending an hour on the phone with T-Mobile and RIM I finally got ours working again. Here is what they had me do. I hope this works for you.
First they had me log into my BlackBerry account online and delete the mailbox.
Next I recreated the mailbox but during the first step I was told to enter the email address but leave the password blank and then click Next
The next screen had two radio buttons: "Re-enter email address and password" or "I will provide the settings to add this email account". I was told to select the latter and click Next.
Again two radio buttons: "This is my personal email account" or "This is my work email account". Again, select the latter and click Next.
Next there were three radio buttons, I selected the one under "Outlook Web Access" and clicked Next.
Finally you can re-enter the Outlook Web Access URL, User name, Password, Email address, and Mailbox name.
I filled out everything the same EXCEPT the Outlook Web Access URL.
Here is an example of what our OWA URL is like: http://email.companyname.com
that is what we always used to use and is where we send our users to log in. Going to this site would then forward you to something like this: http://mail.companyname.com/exchange
where you would enter your username and password.
So, instead of entering our OWA URL in the BlackBerry setup as http://email.companyname.com as we normally do he had me enter it in as http://mail.companyname.com/exchange
I clicked Next again and hard reset my phone. A few test messages later I confirmed it was indeed receiving mail again.
I hope that makes some sense to you guys and that it works for you. If you have any questions about what I am talking about I will try to reply as soon as possible. -

Is it possible to make a rescue email for an iTunes account that is currently in use? If it is how do I do it?
If you know the answers to your security questions then steps 1 to 5 half-way down the page that you posted from will take you to a screen where you can add one.
If you don't know their answers then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

when i changed the first one my old email cant be used with other account then i tried replacing my old email it doesnt replace it says

please help meYes, I am having the same problem. When I called apple they said that things were "tied up somehow" with another account that has a do different birthday than me. Uuuuuhh? So that means someone else can log in?... I have a feeling there is a big vulnerability with the three login options, just like with the current and past password retrieval. Apple had only suggested that I delete my current set up on my serviced and make a new ID and email.
I Just got a new email and made a new Apple ID account For now. I was hoping the email would work itself out. I assumed If I could make sure everything was verified, not associated with another account, and try to get rid of the alternate id and second email option also used to sign in (seen in Apple ID management) that could possibly be construed or mixed up with something else that it would eventually free up and become "available" again. Unfortunately im still waiting In hopes in just needs to recognize the email isn't associated with anything.
I have had a few major concerns with apple products lately especially with security. My iPhone 4s was hacked too. Some ******* was listening/recording and when I hooked to Internet he sent out the recorded portion that was available. Talk about ****** up. -
I want to change my apple id but get the message "This email address is not available for use as an Apple ID. You may already have an Apple ID associated with this address. Please try again or sign in using your existing Apple ID.". I try to log a call with apple support and I get a message like "cannot schedule a call". That leaves me out of options. Any ideas?

I'm sorry to hear you are having these issues changing your Apple ID. It is correct that if an email address has been used previously for an Apple ID, it can not be used for a different Apple ID, as noted in this article:
In most cases, your Apple ID is also the primary email address of your Apple ID account. You can change your Apple ID to any other email address you control, as long as it's not already in use as an Apple ID. If your email address ends with @icloud.com, @me.com, or @mac.com, it's already an Apple ID.

I get this message everytime I try to sync my iTunes to my iPhone "This account has not yet been used with itunes store.Please review your account information" When I originally bought apps I used my dads iTunes account, but my dad recently passed away and his accounts have (or should have) been closed. I just recently set up a new Apple I.D. and tried to use this, but that's when I get the message.
iTunes authorization automatically defaults to my dads Apple I.D., so I enter my new I.D. and the message appears "This account has not yet been used with itunes store.Please review your account information".
I'm frustrated, any ideas? I really don't have the money to pay Apple to fix this!
ThanksI changed my dads password, then went back to sync my apps and when it came to the Authorization, I entered his account name and the new password (which was by the way accepted and changed correctly) to have it come up on the screen as the incorrect password...REALLY!!! I went back and changed the password again...guess what? Same result "inncorect password".
As I mentioned my dad PASSED AWAY, there is no way I can ask him what his password originally was, i can't accesses his email account as it no longer exists.
What am I supposed to do, this is very frustrating.
If I use my new account that's in my name, the Authorization screen just keeps asking for my Dads account. -

Hi all,
I am new the the forum so apologies if this is in the wrong place.
I have both an iphone (4s) and an ipad 2. I have just upgraded them to IOS6 with no problems. I was able to download the new IOS 6 app after the upgrade. However now my iphone recieves the above error, complaining that it should be connected to the UK itunes store when it is currently linked to the Maltese store. My itunes account is ok and against a UK credit card and address. However I am currently physically based in Malta.
My iPad seems ok and I can still upgrade apps and purchase new ones on it. I had had my phone for circa 1 year prior to this without issues and have been based in Malta for most of this time.
Any help will be appreciated.Looks like iOS6 caused it. Here's solution which works.

I'm sorry, I do not fully understand your question. However if you are looking for the email address which you have used for your iTunes account, you can find this out by using the "get info" command on any items you have previously purchased from iTunes and navigating to the summary tab.

Whenever I updated or downloaded a new app from the App Store, a message appears saying:
"Account Not In This Store
Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the Swedish. store before purchasing."
I made some research online and asked a few of my friends with the same problem. All they did was sign out of iTunes from settings>iTunes & App Stores or from the App Store itself and signed back in. It worked for many of them but not with my iPhone 4s. It really does get on my nerves to always sign out and back in to the App Store as it sometimes works and allows me to update and download or most of the time it doesnt.
When viewing my Apple ID account on my iPhone (after entering the password) it either views my account or says:
"This Apple ID is only valid for purchases in the U.S. iTunes Store. You will be switched to that Store. Try your purchase again."
So I press on OK then either switches me to the App Store app of its choice, or says "Cannot connect to iTunes Store".
I tried restoring iOS6 hoping it was a bad installation, but i still have the same problem.
Can anyone help me please?
ArianAre you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out. -
When I try to buy either an app or a song via iTunes, I have just started getting the following message and I am unable to change the store location. "Account Not In This Store. Your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the New Zealand store before purchasing."
This problem has only just started happening. I am on an iPhone5 iOS 7.0.4.
Very frustrating. Can someone please tell me why & where the change has occured and how to fix it? In the past I have purchased many apps and songs on itunes and never had this problem.

My o2 email account does not work when sending from my MAC it will accept incoming mail but not send it gives me a message that o2 account (offline) my mac I have no problem with my iPhone or mac laptop. any suggestions please.

I did what you've told me, new account and manually copied my files from Time Machine. I had lots of permissions problems, but at the end, almost everything is in order... It seems it had to be with some of the Apple Preferences, but I can't be sure, as most of them were dumped to the trash can.
I still don't have my Mail Rules back, unfortunately, although I did goggled some. It is a pity, as I had around 30 or 40 of them, getting my mail in order to each of its mailboxes, but it is a small price as the rest doesn't show the before syntoms.
