Email Accounts now have limits for new users

Just a quick post to save other Partner having the same experience I've just had.
Apparently OpenSRS now has limits set on sending emails for new email addresses. It doesn't matter whether it's an existing domain/website, as soon as they set up a new email address in the BC system, they are limited to a miserly 10 emails/day. This will slowly work it's way up to 25 - 50 etc (see screenshot from support of one of my client accounts - http://screencast.com/t/Pp1oKRkS5I).
I've had 2 different clients contact me in the last week about not being able to send emails and after days on support tickets and an hour on chat, I have found out that there is indeed a limit. It seems that if you contact support and show your displeasure, they can contact OpenSRS and get the mimit increased (just not immediately).
I looked like an idiot telling my clients that there must be an issue with their Outlook setup, when all along the issue was with BC.
Maybe I should change them all over to Google Apps.

That screenshot came from Support. It's not something we have access to. I'm not sure if it's pure coincidence, but I had 2 different clients with the same issue in the last week. From what support said, OpenSRS has made a few changes recently. Just something to be aware of.

Mac email account wont stop looking for new mails.

Just recently and out of the bloom my .mac email account started acting up doing two things:
1. It fails to receive some emails (I get some, but other I just don't. It appears to be random). I've had several people tell me they've emailed be but I've have nothing in my inbox, neither on my mac nor on mobileme.
2. The same .mac (just to clarify I have a @mac.com account not @me.com) account does not stop looking for new emails. That little circles that goes around when you hit the get mail button; it wont stop circling.
I've deleted the account from my computer twice and both problems are still occurring.
This started just last week. I've never had any problem before that. I'm not running out of allocated space; I've already checked that.
Please Help. Bothe problems are pretty annoying (specially not getting emails.

Just to clarify the point. You do have a .me account. The .mac is just an alias now for .me
Maybe you should set up the account as [email protected] and see if that improves the reliablity.

You can try getting the password reset via this page : http://iforgot.apple.com
If you can't then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple in your country to get the password and your questions reset.

When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down this page to add a rescue email address to your account for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312

Sometimes deleting the account and then re-creating it can solve this issue
Write down all the information in accounts before doing this
Highlight the account on the left and click the minus button
Then click the plus button to add the new account and follow the prompts

Never mind, disregard. I went in and reset my password to my AirPort Express, and for some reason, it then went through, and is all working and good.

Email accounts now showing

Since the ios7 update one or two of the email accounts I have on my iPhone 4s are not showing up in mail, however when I go into Settings>Mail, the accounts are there. I have tried deleting the accounts and setting them up again but it still happens.

Welcome to the Apple Community.
Without certainty, but with reasonable likelihood, one is your old Mobile Me account, the other is your new iCloud account.
Assuming this to be so, you would delete the old Mobile Me account from Mail Preferences > accounts. Highlight the unwanted account and click on the minus icon in the lower left corner.

GPO not working for new Users (Background)

Terminal Server 2012 in a hosted environment
I've set the below policy to set a default background wich can be changed by the users after this.
The target is an networkdrive. (The Reason behind this is that we have multiple resellers that all have the same networkdrive but pointing to a different store) Lets just say for this example that is P:/Background/ResellerBackground.jpg
The policy is Linked to the Resellers OU.
This works perfectly for all the existing users.
For new users this is not working at all. It does run the policy but it create the profile after running the policies.
So the above setting gets overruled by the default windows server 2012 background. The RunOnce atribute is set now, so it will not load it again.
I have read a lot of different sollutions so far, but none are working in this environment. (From changing the default Hive to changing the default picture etc)
One sollution came close, but not working perfectly either, this is removing the RunOnce atribute from the register, and letting the new users log in again. You do not wanna let new users login twice.
Before Windows 7/8/2012, in XP it just copied the default user and then the policies ran. So here the problem does not exist. Now it makes the profile after running the policies.
Anyone having an idea to resolve this issue?

If we choose this solution, we can try running cmd command
gpupdate/force to see whether it can work.
Another workaround is we can do it from scratch. We can create a new GPO to deploy wallpaper for these new users. The steps are the same as previous ones, just using
Security Filtering to apply this new GPO to new users, and unlinking and deleting the GPO after the policy getting updated.

When I save the document as a .doc or .docx, and send it to someone, (doesn't matter if its safari, chrome or firefox or on my yahoo or gmail accounts) they receive it as a blank document. Yet, when I open it on my Mac, it has a "word" icon and I can read it. How do I fix?

On a PC you sync iCloud Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks via Outlook, snyc Bookmarks and Photos.
Some other Services like iWork apps (Numbers, Pages and Keynote) or Find My iPhone are missing, but accessible through the website www.icloud.com (new Chrome or Firefox needed)
By the way, iTunes is still needed for managing your music library.

OBIA 7.9.6.4 security for new user

Hi,
I have setup OBIA 7.9.6.4 environement on Linux platform and configured 4 modules financials, Supply chain & Order management, Procurements & Spend and Project.
Then I have created a new user in weblogic LDAP server and assigned to BIConsumers Group, but none of the report are displaying results. so that I can share this user log in details with other user so that they can only open report and should not be able to make any changes to them.
Please advice if anything additional required to done apart steps.
