Email address through OCI

SRM 5
Classic scenario with Punchout Catalog
OCI 3.0
We have set up the OCI standard call structure and are able to pass the "UniqueName" parameter. The value of the parameter is "SY-UNAME" and is of type SAP Field
Due to this when the user punches out to the external catalog the SU01 user id is displayed on the catalog site.
We are also passing the "EmailAddress" parameter. The value of this parameter is a fixed email address and the type is "Fixed Value".
We want the email address to be picked up from the SU01 email address detail.
Earlier posts suggest of using the BBP_CAT_CALL_ENRICH BADI.
Is there any a standard parameter value which selects the EmailAddress parameter from SU01 say for eg "SY-EMAIL" ? This will avoid implementation of a BADI and will be a standard approach.

Hi,
OCI is just catalog item transfer interface and not PO. No SC number or PO number is transfered to supplier via OCI.
Supplier does not know if SC will be ordered or not. And there is no clear document number for further communication.
If you send PO via XML, I think email address is in XML. Supplier can communicate with requestor based on the PO number.
If you still need to pass email address in OCI, please implement the BADI. It won't be take more than 2H.
Go to SE18 and display BBP_CAT_CALL_ENRICH. Find sample implementation BBP_BUSINESSCARDS and copy.
Delete or comment out unnessesaly codes from sample BADI implementation.

Hi randers4. Already have. I have two (2) gmail addresses - only one of which I run through Outlook. Both are set up in GMail on the iPhone under Settings but Contacts and Calendars are only set up to synch on the account that goes thru Outlook. My email from both merge OK on the iPhone but Contacts and Calendars from Outlook doesn't come over and its the only one i have the Settings turned on for Contacts,Calendars and Notes.

I have the .mac account in my name. I added a second email address for my fiancee. have used the .mac address for me for years and recently got an iphone which the address works fine on. My fiancee just got an iphone and want to use the email address I set up for her on our imac (I sync my phone with my powerbook). However I can't get her iphone through the .mac account set up using her address. Any ideas?

You don't need to purchase a Family Pack for this.
.Mac members can purchase up to 10 additional email-only accounts for US$10.00 each, per year. (Email-only accounts include 512 MB of storage, which can't be increased.)
If you use an alias, all messages received by your finance will be delivered to the Inbox mailbox for your account. You can't create an alias as a separate email account - it uses the user name and password for your primary account.
If you purchase an email only account for your finance, it will be a separate email account - kept separate from your email account.

How can I use my mobile me email address through Mail

You need to be on an upgraded BC plan to at least a webMarketing plan to be able to set up email with it. I don't recommend the BC email anyways. Here is a blog article I wrote some time ago on getting around the BC email limitations.

Setting up using an external email address through MobileMe on the iPhone

I have an external email address set up in my Apple Mail desktop client and in the MobileMe web interface. It's an email alias that I have set up with a personal domain that I own. I have that alias set up to forward to my MobileMe account. For sending out from that address, I use my ISP's smtp server, both in my client, and in the MobileMe web interface. I want to also be able to send mail from this external account from my iPhone. I don't think there is a way to do this because when you set up a new mail account on the iPhone, it presumes you are using the smtp server of the email domain you are using, but I'm not, and there is no way during the set up process to set a specific smtp server to use (in this case, I would want to set it up so that the account would use my ISP's smtp server. Just wondering if anyone figured out a way to make this work.

I finally managed to set Mail up in a way to use MobileMe but sent from my personal server AND display said address.
However, on my iPhone I can only send email with the "from" info [email protected]

Shared Review cannot resolve email addresses through Outlook

I am finding references to the issue I am having that goes back a couple years and seems to be tied to a change to Acrobat between versions 8 & 9, I am flummoxed though that there isn't a solution listed for any of the forum posts I've found. We are using Acrobat Pro & Standard X. When I create a shared review via Email or using a SharePoint workspace, I am unable to succesfully add users to the review process.
A few users always work and most others result in multiple contact selector dialog boxes and a final message:
"Microsoft Outlook does not recognize "/o=..."
If this is a known issue how can there not be a work around or fix for this? It's a great feature, but I can't ask our users to use this shared review process if I also have to tell them to just keep trying to enter the reviewer email - it might work eventually.

Yes, you are correct the problem is tied to the "<last name>, <first name>" convention that uses the comma.
The issue arose due to Acrobat allowing commas as separators in the list of addresses in the Shared Review dialog.
As of Acrobat XI 11.0.9 this issue is fixed. It will be included in all future updates, so version 11.0.9 and higher contain the fix.

You must create and set a registry key to enable the fix:

The issue is NOT fixed in Acrobat X.

Ask your college. Most likely the same settings as you have set in Outlook.

Cannot send mail through Windows Live Mail with 3rd party email address

I know this problem has been thoroughly discussed, and I basically understand it. I must change my outgoing port to 587 on my two non-Verizon email accounts that I pull into Microsoft Mail along with my Verizon mail. One of the accounts is my web site email with Network Solutions, and one is an email address through Onebox.com.
When I used port 587, neither worked to send email through Outlook Express or Windows Mail. I called Onebox. and was told to use (for them) port 465, which did not work to send, either.
I have not called Network Solutions yet. I did call Verizon Support, however, and the support person tried to find the solution. Finally, he told me I need to call Onebox again (and Network Solutions).
I am just checking to see if there is something I missed that anyone knows of. I would really like to consolidate my mail on my computer...it will be complicated if I cannot.

How do I delete an iCloud email address that was created under my Apple ID?

I have an Apple ID that is used mostly for iTunes. My son has an iPod Touch and wanted to create an iCloud email address to use on his iPod. We created an iCloud email address through my Apple ID, not realizing that now, every time he sends an email, it arrives "from" my name, not his, as the address is attached to my Apple ID and therefore through my account information. We would like to delete his iCloud email address completely so he can open his own personal Apple ID and recreate his iCloud email address through his own new Apple account. We deleted the account from his iPod and also deleted it as a second email address on my AppleID account information. Yet, despite all this, the email address seems to remain attached to my account. Apple Support website and iCloud support did not give us any ideas. Help!

since I posted this question (above), I have read many other questions posted and it seems I am not alone. Seems Apple will not allow people to delete an iCloud email address completely from existence! You can delete it from devices but not from the Apple ID account. What a disappointment, really. In my opinion, the "user-friendly" Apple is really frustrating people who simply want to be able to manage their email addresses for various, valid reasons. Email addresses that have been created should be allowed to be deleted by the creator! Other email services allow this!
One idea I have that may help others in my situation: Rather than delete my son's iCloud email address from my Apple ID account, so that his emails come from HIS name not MINE, I might try to just change the name on my AppleID account from mine to his. He can create a new password too. Then, in the future, if I want to recreate my own Apple ID, I will.

This is the first time I have ever replied to a question on here but I actually know this because I just figured it out for myself.
On the apple tv go to settings>computers
Then turn off home sharing.
Now go back to the main menu and open computers.
When you do it will give the option to use the previous home sharing settings or to use a new apple id.

Mail putting another person's name on my email address

I manage four email addresses through Apple Mail.
Today, inexplicably, my outgoing mail is being sent with a name other than my own. As you can see in the screen shot below, my name is Anne Leader yet Mail is sending as Mark Rosen even though his name is nowhere in my preferences.
This is a big problem! Can anyone help?

HT4191 why do you need yet another email address to sync notes

Is there a way to sync ipad notes with an imac desktop without opening up yet another unwanted "email" address? Why do compaines constantly demand that you open up email addresses through all of them?

Notes are very special, their sync is done by IMAP(mail) server that syncs our emails. In order to sync notes you "have to" be connected to that IMAP and mail account is "your connection". BTW mail "ON" button will not sync your emails - it only syncs email settings between devices, like server rules, blocked servers, etc. It will not reflect on other icloud stuff, but what it will do is move your notes sync from current sync ( if one exsits) to different. For example you notes currently can be local (on my phone), Yahoo or exchange like google. (you can check that by going to settings - mail contacts and calendars- and under your mail accounts you will see small "contacts" "calendars" and if you will see "notes" that would be your current syncing IMAP.
