Hi,
I finally got the ampassword webapp to email the new password. Now emails are being sent by a Lotus Notes server. This server is reached thanks to sendmail.
I'd like to know where I can configure the email address of the sender of the mail

If you simply want to send the exact same message to everyone in your address book with emails ending in "@whatever.com", you can do the following:
Create an email with subject, message and attachments but no addresses
Open Address Book, All Contacts
Search in Address Book for @whatever.com
Select the results and drag them into the To: or Bcc: field of the email. If Bcc: then put your email address in the To: field.
Send the email
This will not personalize the emails (such as with "Dear firstname:" at the top of the message) but it will let you send an idential message to everyone who meets your criteria.

HT5312 How do you change the email address used to send security answers?
How do you change the email used to send the security answers you have forgotten? I have changed the alternative email adress in Name, ID and Email Addresses but this does not change the email address in the Password and Security section.
Jus what do you want to accomplish? The Apple ID email address is used for variosu thing onthe iPod like:
- For purchasing media. Srrings.iTunes and App stores. Sing out and sign into anoterh account
- Settings>iCLoudl for iCloud account
- Settings>FaceRome for Apple ID and where You can Be Reached At email address
- Settings>Messages for Send And Receive email address.
- Maybe for Game Center -
I keep getting Alarm popups saying that it cannot send msg using the server null.
I think I have disabled email (I use Gmail) and the calendar however I still get these popups and I can't close them?
How can I disable the Alarm popups?

Google Mail recently implemented additional security measures "for your protection" of course. The manifestation of that may be the requirement to create a unique, "application-specific" password for each one of the various Google services you may use. That requirement probably includes Google Mail. So if the above Apple Support document doesn't resolve the problem, research Google's application-specific password requirements, and how to configure Mail to use it.

I want to change my password for apple id but i forgot my secrect question as well as the email add that apple sends the reset link to. How can it be resolved ?

Thanks for the reply - I think I've sorted it though and there isn't actually an issue.
The whole group wasn't receiving the NDR, only the group manager which I setup a few weeks prior. This is a new feature so it complies with certain RFC's, basically the group manager will recieive the NDR to let them know there is a problem.
Something to do with mass mailing and unsolicited mail.

Hi Apple friends! Here's my frustrating situation. When I got the new computer (2012 Macbook Pro), I tried to set up iCloud but accidentally input an erroneous email acct. I cannot access iClod because the email was accidentally input as "[email protected]", not "[email protected]". How do I reset the email originally used to start the Apple ID? I'm stuck in a loop, and not only cannot use iCloud, but I keep getting messages popping up to register my iCloud with a non-existent email...

[email protected]Have you tried to go into System Preferences > iCloud and entering the correct information there? You will first have to "sign out" of the wrong account and then log in with the correct information.
If that does not work you should direct follow up to the iCloud for Mac forum. -
when I use Adobe Send the screen goes dark when I hit send but never seems to complete the send task! and recover the screen?F

Does this issue occur with any file that you try to send, or do you find that it's specific to one file? If it's a file-specific error, and the file is large, please try sending the file via Adobe SendNow. (You can sign in to Adobe SendNow at Sign in or create an account | Adobe SendNow using the same credentials you use to sign in to Adobe Send.)

Your only option will be to contact iTunes Store support and see if they can help you. Click on this link and choose the Account Management option, and create a new case with iTunes Support.

i have contacted 3 online and also been into a 3 store they tried mysim in their handset and it worked but when on of the workers tried theyre sim it said "no service" as usual? they said the phone reads the sim because it asked for the workers sim code?

I created an iapple id and it said it had to send me a verification email to verify my email adress. It said ....email sent please click on link. I did this several times and although it says email sent...i never get the email.

I've got multiple gmail accounts setup in Mac Mail.
Somtimes when I send or forward emails, it uses the wrong FROM field even though I'm declaring
specifically which account to use.
This becomes apparent when the person replies to my message and it goes to the wrong accountCheck you accounts in Mail and make sure each account has the correct outgoing server address. Check the box to use only that server.
Second, go to the gmail website and in settings under the account tab, make sure you have the correct settings for replying to messages.
