Email after the load

Hi,
Can we setup an email that send automatically after the data load process or the calculation process is done if we are using the either the EAS load utility or with the batch file. I know i can send an email with batch but i want to know if this can done from essbase with the load information. Any help would be appreciated.

If you really wanted to do this through Essbase, you could set up Essbase triggers that fire when they get valued (think special last record values, or a separate one record load that values an intersection) and in turn send an email. This could be a direct load or maybe the result of a full calculation.
At first blush this seems a bit over the top, but what it would give you (think a monthly load) would be information about what got loaded -- that's the information in the trigger email.
If you have any interest in this approach GlennS_2 (or is it GlennS_3?) did a great presentation on triggers last year at Kaleidoscope. Go to www.odtug.com, click on the Tech Resources tab, then Essbase/Hyperion and search through for Glenn's presentation titled, "Little Used Features of Essbase (Like Data Mining and Triggers!)". To download it, you must be an ODTUG member, but there is a free associate membership that will allow you to download the many, many useful presentations there. Glenn will be there this year as well, and is sure to do great stuff (actually I have seen one of his presentations, and it is great stuff).
Glenn's presentation is but a sample of what Kaleidoscope has on offer. If you like Essbase (don't we all?), use Essbase (um, yes, why else would we be on this board?), want to use Essbase better (we can all stand improvement, including yours truly), missing Kaleidoscope could be the biggest mistake you make this year. The content is awesome, the technical depth is deep, and the value for money is outstanding. I'll be there.

I don't really understand your comment about "sing of tubes in RED which is wired". But if you are referring to the display of iTunes and the USB port that is an indication that you must restore your iPhone by connecting it to your computer via USB and then using iTunes on the computer to restore it.

Try settings -- messages -- send & recieve and see if your email and phone number are in there and if there is only a check mark next to your email address. If so just check off your phone number and try that.

Update - I now have it working.
am not really sure what exactly fixed it.
I changed a lot of things but my setup now has the following which I think fixed.
outgoing server - p06-smtp.mail.me.com
override default port checked - port now 587
on more options button changed it to "use incoming server info".

Need to send an email (after the FTP adapter does the transfer)

I have a simple ESB project. It uses FTP adapter to pick a file and encrypt it (by using a webservice) and then transfers that
file to a different server. As mentioned FTP (SFTP) adapter is used to do this.
After the file is transfered ( by using the PUT mode of the FTP adapter) , i
need to send an email to a given address telling about the succes of the file
transfer. But the problem is I can not link or attach a router to FTP adapter
in PUT Mode. A FTP adapter in Get mode comes with a Router but a FTP adapter
with PUT mode does not come with a router. How can I attach a router (or a web
service to a FTP adapter which is in PUT mode)

I'm fairly certain you'll have to use BPEL to accomplish this. I'd put the FTP Adapter inside a BPEL process then you can drop the email activity in after the ftp operation.

What do you mean by access?
Try deleting the account in the Mail app and setting it up again.

Has anyone tried emailing after the Yosemite upgrade? The size of the email pane is enormous and cannot be resized so I cannot see what I am typing as it disappears off screen to the right. This must surely be a fault?

The email window pane is huge and disappears off screen and I have not found any way to resize it. This means I cannot see what I am typing as the text disappears to the right off the screen. Only way to see what you are typing is to drag the pane to the left and then back again when the cursor moves to a new line. This surely must be a fault with the new Yosemite OS X?

Thanks, Bee! I never knew that one--it does resize the screen. But, what I want to do is resize it from the corner, or from the side, or from the top. I'd like to move it to another place on the page, if I need to. The bigger problem is that I can no longer click and drag to highlight a word or phrase, etc. Both of these things happened in Office and in Safari after I downloaded Yosemite. I feel sure that it is just some little trick like the one you suggested or some box that I need to tick to get things working like I've always known them to be. Thanks for any help you can give...

The machine has nothing to do with the email account.
If this was originally created as a mobileme accounts, and as long as you have migrated that mobileme account over to iCloud, then your email will continue as it was (on any machine or device).

Anyone have any solution to problems with iphone 3G not sending or receiving email after the recent upgrade?

Uprgaed yesterday & now can't send or receive emails.
My account is set up using mobile me and was working fine until I installed the recent upgrade last night.
It doesn't make any difference if I have wi-fi enabled or disabled.
I have checked the stmp and inputted all the correct info i.e. username/password. No joy.

If your mail server requires the security of SSL, then it would not work without it. If you had to disable SSL for it to work, then your email provider does not use SSL for security. You cannot fix what isn't broke. The email provider sets the rules for sending and receiving mail. SSL is just one layer of it, and they may just use username and password for security and not requireing SSL. The only way that you can change that is to change providers. If it doesn't work with SSL now, it probably never did. I wouldn't say that your mail has an "obvious security issue".

Can't send emails after the latest upgrade..

I have my own email account since updating the system, my emails won't send.
I've tried deleting the account anf then adding it back, however it now has taken it off notes, contacts etc
It keeps coming up with the same message, 'connection to the outgoing server failed', though /i ca connect on my andriod mobile, my pc and my imac.

I updated my phone to the IOS5 on Thursday and can't get emails from my yahoo account. i have deleted the email account from my phone and the added it back to start over and nothing. I am completly lost as to how to solve this problem, but I want m email back. Has anyone else had this problem.

Can't read yahoo Email after the update page display is blank, why?

After I update my ipad2 with iOS 5 when I log in in yahoo to check mail the page display blank, why?

Tap Settings / Safari.
Clear the History, Cookies, and Cache.
Then restart your iPad. Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
