Email and app help

i have two problems, one is when i try and setup email, it only shows the option to set up a work email with an enterprise server. 2, some of my apps wont show up on the menu

That builds a list of installed applications on your device.
Precisely what "apps list" are you looking at?
And how, exactly, do you know that some are missing? For instance, if you are comparing your homescreen icons to the list displayed via the commands above, then that would be one way to tell (to some extent). But, the homescreen isn't per se an "apps list".
Occam's Razor nearly always applies when troubleshooting technology issues!

HELP!! Need email and app help

So my mobile internet works fine i can browse the web no problem. however i cannot download apps, the appworld will never connect, even before i can get to the login. and my email accounts wont connect, if anyone has any tips or ideas i could really use the help. I saw earlier checking the vendor id(which is 100) and security settings all of which i have changed and still nothing, I am really getting frusturated....... curve 8320 on t-mobile

Tried to transfer all my data to iPhone 5 from iPhone 3GS lost ONLY my email and app data? But weird thing is, its still on my old phone!!!
Do you know why and how I can fix this?

How did you "try" to transfer this data? The only way to restore App data is by restoring from a backup that contains the App data, then syncing the Apps back to the phone. Emails are not included in any iPhone backup, only account settings.

Receive email and app alerts -- but no new updates

I'm using the MyFico 3B monitoring, and several times, I have received an email and/or app notification of a new alert.. However, when I view my alerts on either the app or the myfico website, there are no new alerts. Example:6/29/2015 5:39 PMDear .....,Account change has been detected in your Experian data.Please log in to view the details. In my alerts, there is nothing new since Jun 27... And nothing new from Experian since Jun 26, which was already viewed and I received a separate notification for. Whats the deal? Thanks,Rick

I have the same situation, and i frankly perplexed.Yesterday I had a lrge point drop, but there was no explanation as to why. And I have nothing negative that should have happened or changed. Furthermore, I am signed up for Experien's Credit Watch and last week on 6/24 my score on there went up, but on MyFico, there's been NO change. I'm not happy.

Safari, email and app store app quits after launch on my iPad. Help!

These applications open and the immediately quit. Other app's work including google which access internet.

Try downloading another app - any free app will do. That seems to reset something and it may work for you. If not, try all of the steps below.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Close all apps. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

My email and app notifications wont display on my home screen and my emails wont push through without manually retrieving them?

Help please. it says to connect to itunes to activate push but it still wont work. When i open WhatsAp it loads the messages but wont tell me i have messages until i open the app.

I would start with signing out of all services that require signing into your Apple ID and then signing back in. Be sure to test the results after processing these steps.

If you are still experiencing the issue, backup your device via either iCloud or iTunes and restore the device. Once this is done, restore from you backup to retrieve your data.

Email and Facebook Help

My LG phone was working great. Now all of a sudden I can send email but not receive any email. Also, all of a sudden this morning my Facebook keeps saying "error loading newsfeed". What's going on and how do I fix it?

Missvg57, thanks for the additional details. We'd love to help find resolution to these troubles today. You mentioned that there was a recent update to your Facebook application. Does the application state that it's up to date in the play store? If you're receiving an error message from a specific application (Facebook), then I'd suggest contacting the developer through the play store to report these errors.
What type of email address do you have installed on the device? Have you tried removing and re-adding the email account? Please share some further details. Thanks.

I can not connect to the internet through Safari or through a link on an email. I can open emails and apps. Also, I can not access my contacts.

Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
No data is lost due to a reset.

AOL email and Firefox Help do not open unless Internet Explorer has been open first

Only an AD banner at the top of the window opens. The rest of the window is blank. Only noticed this problem after the AOL problem, after I tried to get help.
When trying to open AOL email, all of the usual connection paths used by AOL constantly cycle through over and over, like an endless loop. There is no end to it until I click the "stop loading this page" button.

First, try to update to Firefox 12, see if that fixes the issue, If it doesn't, will Firefox open in [[Safe Mode]]?

Logging out of email and apps?

Just got the Iphone. I use Facebook and I have comcast email. I would like to be able to sign out of this applications when they are not in use. Is there a setting I can use so that someone can just open up an app and read personal info?

Not sure about FB if you can log out or not (don't use it myself) but for the native Mail app you really can't log out of your account. All you can do is delete the account (which is a pain to re-do each time) or go into settings and simply disable the Mail portion of the account (but someone knowledgeable enough could simply turn it back on).
The other option is to set a passcode for your iPhone and/or not let others use your iPhone, or not use the native Mail app for your Comcast mail, use Safari instead.

IOS8 on a IPhone 5 bugs, youmail, Email and app store updates

I've discovered the following oddities with IOS 8.0. Maybe they will be repaired when I install 8.0.2, however I wanted to document them.
App Store updates do not clear from the list after they have been downloaded and installed. For instance I updated 5 apps. I downloaded them via Itunes and synchronized my IPhone 5 as I normally do. The App Store Icon still shows I have 5 apps which need to be updated. Opening the App Store icon, and clicking on the updates tab does not clear the list. It instead shows the "update" soft key for a moment and then it changes to "open". I have tried several things including rebooting my IPhone 5 to no avail. I did notice that when a new app shows appears to be updated the previous apps which were indeed updated are purged from the list. After downloading via ITunes and again synchronizing my phone, the latest app which has been updated also will not purge from the list when clicking on the "updates" soft key. Now my App Store icon continues to show that I need to update one app.
Youmail app. I can't purge (delete) voice mails from the trash folder. Selecting them, and selecting the purge (delete) soft key does not remove them. It's as if the command is ignored.
Email, I noticed that when I use the delete all soft key from the trash folder selecting the "edit" soft key and then "delete all" that the soft key in the upper right corner which normally changes from "edit" to "cancel" when I select delete all is blacks out like a hole in the screen. The "cancel" soft key which normally appears there is gone. I did note that touching the now black hole where the cancel soft key was previously still functions as "cancel".
I am using the current version of ITunes 11.4.0.8 in a Windows 7 PC.

Youmail just released an update which fixed the deletion problem with old voice mails. The other problems are still not resolved, even with the 8.0.2 IOS update.

All apps are tied to the Apple ID they are purchased with and is not transferable.

I have BIS but can't surf, send/receive email, use apps

i have BB Curve 8520. My BIS was running smoothly (sending and receiving emails real time and surfing the net through BIS), until i noticed when i tried to reply to an email that came in, it won't send. i noticed that it's fluctuating. i was able to send the email after a few minutes... then a few minutes later, i received a replied email from my friend, and when i tried to send my reply, i wasn't able to. also, i can't surf using the browser with the "internet browser" as default. i tried using my wifi and then suddenly all my emails started coming in, all emails that were not able to go through hours ago. my big question was why do i need to turn on wifi just to receive emails. but since i had my BIS for 2 months now, i can send and receive emails and surf through BIS itself without turning on the wifi. also, i can't use any of my apps like facebook, twitter, yahoo messenger, etc. They used to work fine with BIS... but now, i have to turn on the wifi connection, so i could log in with them. aren't these supposed to be running through BIS only?
I have GPRS on top, not gprs. my carrier says i have active data plan/BIS. but under Services Status..it says Blackberry Internet Service: Connection: not connected...
so, i wiped out my BB and deleted all third party apps. when this was done, i received emails telling me "Your handheld has been registered with the wireless network" and even got "Activation Server" emails telling me that the emails that i have previously set up are now up and running. so i thought my BB is now ok.. i tried surfing, it was okay. after like about 5 minutes, it was down again. tried sending email but can't... i turned on the wifi and boom! the emails started coming in again.i have the Host Routing Tables and my Service Books in my BB. I have GPRS (not gprs) on top which means i have active BIS. i have registered my HRTs several times... and resending my service books... same thing...
the big mystery is when i turn on the wifi, the emails suddenly go through and i can send emails. i can open apps that used to only run on BIS. this is ok i guess, but i could never do any of these if i'm not connected to wifi.
my sister and i have the same BB... i removed my sim and inserted it to her BB and the BIS worked fine... i was able to surf and use apps.. but when i put my sim back on my phone, the problem still exists. i even used a different sim card that is also subscribed to BIS/data plan, and it still has the same problem... my guess is my carrier is right that my data plan is working ok and that my handheld itself has the problem...
i updated my OS, same problem.. wiped it out... used BBSAK, reinstalled OS... numerous battery pulls... same thing... i can receive the HRTs and service books, but after that can't do anything else like i used to... (send/receive emails, use apps like facebook, twitter, ym, etc., can't surf with internet browser - except when wifi is on everything else work fine even emails and apps)..
