Email and contact information disappears

My email (gmail.com) calendar and all contacts are disappearing nightly ... any suggestions??

Could you provide a bit more information please so I can better assist you?
Are you missing individual contact entries or entire contact lists? If they are contact lists, are you missing multiple contact lists or one only? If they are individual contacts, are they all from the same contact list?
How were these contacts originally added to your BlackBerry Z10 smartphone?
Can you please provide more detail on the second issue with your Yahoo! email? Is this the same email account the missing contacts you previously mentioned were associated with?
Is this same information also missing from your Yahoo! account when you access it from a computer?
Did you try to re-add your Yahoo! email account? If so, can you tell me what happened when you tried?

I changed computers today and logged into Verizon to set up Outlook Express on the new machine. all of my old emails are gone; as are my contact information. it had old stuff saved from three years ago but nothing recent. Help? how do i retreive my messages and contact info now?

Anything in Outlook is stored on the individual computer. It will not be stored on the website anywhere. You would need to Export all your emails and contacts from your old computers outlook program. Then take the file it creates and Import them to your new computers Outlook.

Automatic deleted emails and contacts

Can anyone help me
I have a E71 which is connected to automatic hotmail. Recently my phone deleted all my contacts from my phone book and the next day deleted all ym emails.
Is this a virus? if so how do i remove it.

Missing past emails and contacts

with the new security process, when i logged into my email account, it looks like a brand new account. Everything is missing such as emails received/sent and contacts. i need to get access to these emails. thank you.

Lost my work email and contacts on my 4S

I got a new Iphone at work and own the 3G for personal use. My work phone was all set up with email and contacts and I decided to bring in my personal contacts, music, etc to my new 4 S Iphone. All my work contacts and email are now gone.
How do I get that information back?
Also my phone has all of my kids friends phone #s in it because Itunes put them there. Is there a way to look at your contacts on I tunes and delete people you don't want on your phone. I need to delete 200 of my kids and wife contacts as they have come onto my phone.

All iDevices can be synced with one, and only one, computer. If your 4S was set up at work, that's the only omputer you can connect it to. When you connected it to your home computer iTunes warned you about the on sequences of doing that. You went ahead, so it synced the 4S to your iTunes, erasing everything else.
Sync it to the computer it was originally synced with.

OK, I understand. Try this ... it's much safer. It will simply restore your backup, but not do anything to your iOS:
While your iPhone is plugged in to iTunes, right click on the iPhone icon on the left side of the iTunes display.
Choose "Restore from backup ..." from the pop-up menu that appears.
Again, what this will do is place that backup back on your iPhone without changing iOS. So you should be very confident in the backup contents before doing this.

Clearing Old Emails and Contacts

I have an old Bold 9870 and now use a Z10. I need to clear all the emails and contacts from the Bold so I can load a new Sim and let someone else use the phone. I cannot see how to clear all the emails from the server or how to prevent the new user reading all my emails and coantacts.
Does anyone know how to do this?

You'll need to do a security wipe on the phone.
On your homescreen, follow Options>Security>Security Wipe OR Options>Device>Security>Security Wipe, depending on which OS your phone is running. Once on the Security Wipe page, follow the instructions to clear the phone of all personal data.

I'm assuming you and your wife have different accounts and that hers has somehow been used in the setup of your devices/computers. (If you are both sharing one account, then you should consider using separate ones for icloud, otherwise everything you do will be shared with your wife. You can use the same account for itunes to share your purchases, unless you have already made purchases under separate itunes accounts, in which case you'll need to continue doing that.)
On a device, go to settings>icloud and scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap delete account. This will remove all icloud data from your device. Then at the top of the page, log into **your** account and all your data from your account will download.
Also, settings>itunes and apps stores, log out if it's the wrong account and log in using your account ID.

You can use the same iTunes. The only minor issue is app updating. Each purchased item is permanently associated with whatever ID was used to obtain it. IF you choose to update an app from inside iTunes and your logged in to the "wrong" ID, it's necessary to log out/in to update the app.
It's easier if you do your updating directly to the iPad and let it sync the updated items back to the iTunes library. There is no need to log out/in but you do need to know the password. In my case, both passwords are deliberately identical to make things easier for us.
On the other hand, the sync operation does not care what ID was used to obtain the app. All apps (and music and movies and TV shows) are synced without regard to the ID that was used for the purchase.
Be careful with TV shows. Apple offers a lower-cost upgrade to get all shows from a given year. However, the dollar cost of the upgrade is based on the shows purchased with whatever ID you're currently logged in with. Simple solution - get all shows from a specific series with the same ID.

Are the photos saved on your phone's SD card? Try removing and reinserting the card and restarting your phone.

Can't open email and contacts after changing email address in iCloud

I changed my email address in iTunes and iCloud and now I cannot open email and contacts. The beachball appears and after about 2-3 minutes I get a message that the program cannot open. I'm ready to throw my iMac out the window. It is only a couple months old.

After I right-clicked on an unwanted email in Microsoft Web Access and put a filter on it all my emails and the menus disappeared. I can re-access in IE but how do I restore what I have foolishly done in Firefox?

I was working through my emails in Microsoft Web Access when I came across an email from a sender who keeps spamming me. I right-clicked on this unwanted email, saw a filter option and (recklessly) chose it. ALL my emails and the menus disappeared. You should really read the manual.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer.

Removing access to email and other information

A family member gave their phone away to a friend and (mistakenly) thought that deleting all of the information on the phone one by one (as opposed to doing the restore) would be sufficient. I think access to email and other information might still be present on the phone. Is there a way to disable access to the email account and other information remotely somehow?

Change the password for the email account, which will prevent the friend from downloading any new messages received at the incoming mail server for the account.
Without the passcode lock feature enabled, there is no way to prevent someone from accessing any data that is available on the iPhone.
Restoring the iPhone as a new iPhone is one option. The iPhone also includes an erase all contents and settings option, which is a secure erase.
