EMAIL BILLING DOCUMENT TO CUSTOMER THROUGH SEND MAIL OPTION IN VF02

Hi
I want to make active mode in send mail option is in VF02/VF03.
see below how to reach send mail option is in vf03
There is one more option if u go vf03 give the billing document and go to issue out put , choose the print preview and go to text which is placed at top right side and click on that option there send mail option available. can we make active that option since it is showing in gray mode.

If your SAP system's Output is configured with the proper output type and SMTP or IMAP mail sending servers then its possible to send mail directly by clicking the send email tab.
I have a little knowledge about this technical congiguration. But we have solution manager from where we send mail directly to the user's Email.
And also yu have to configure Workflow setting.
Please take help of Workflow ABAP consultant.

Can anybody suggest if there is any BADI/User Exit/Configuration exists in order to email Billing document as a PDF attachment while saving from VF01 or VF02?
We need to trigger this while saving the Output type say, VF02 GOTO -> HEADER -> OUTPUT (select the output type) -> SAVE - should send an email with PDF attachment.
I have written the code for sending email with PDF attachment. Presently this code is included in the Print program for the sapscript and an email is sent when an output is issued from VF01/02/03 where as the requirement is to send email whenever the document is saved.

While saving subroutine FORM_OPEN will get triggerred, and this will be included in the Z Program. If it is not contained in the Z program, include this subroutine. This subroutine will have include RVADOPFO.
The above include will have the function module ADDR_GET_NEXT_COMM_TYPE, and the import parameter LVS_COMM_VALUES will contain the address number and email address to whom the pdf needs to be sent.
So here, i.e. In place of standard include RVADOPFO, put custom include ZRVADOPFO, and modify the code as below.
After the function module ADDR_GET_NEXT_COMM_TYPE, read the email address from any custom table based on the various conditions or hard coded value, then move it to the below variable.
LVS_COMM_VALUES-ADSMTP-SMTP_ADDR.
And remaining functionality will be taken care by the standard code. i.e. converting the spool to PDF and attaching it while sending the email etc....
If I am not wrong, the same functionality will work even while saving the sales order etc..

Sending Workitem as attacment through send mail

Hi all
I got an issue while doing Parking Documents relase in FI. My issue is when ever a document is parked from F-65 a work item containing the relese procedure should be send through an email to the sap inbox. All is working fine except i dont no how to attach the work item to the mail.
can any one please help out. how to attach workitem to the mail.

Means i am using activity step for releasing the parked documents using FIPP Object and RELEASE method. this work item should be sent through send mail step Which is configured in SWDB after activity step . where can i use the function module wapi_create_attachment

Park & Post Billing Document
This functionality is available in MM/FI.
You can use Billing Block functionality in Billing Doc type (Tcode VOFA) by activating Posting Block indicator.
To release them to accounting, either you can individually or you can use VFX3 for collective release of billing doc to accounting.

Send mail option triggering mail into documents

hi
im using send mail option in the workflow definition, the mail is triggered but its going to the documents folder and not into the workflow inbox.
if i want to make the option like.. complete the work item by double clicking.
is it possible with the send mail option?
please suggest me..

It is not possible to send mail options sending workitem to your workflow. It will send the mail to your inbox i.e to Document folder. If your work involves some decision steps .. use decision task. Or else use Activity and create a task behind that.

Could you please explain your poblem clearly..
If you want to debug your code keep a break point and save the invoce.. which will stop in your code..
If you are unable to set the external break point use BREAK-POINT statement to put the break point and then debug..

I don't know if there is a comparable FM like SO_USER_READ_API1 that uses a table for SOUDNAMEI1. I simply create a table of SOUDNAMEI1, loop SO_USER_READ_API1 adding to recipients and then SEND.
This what you referring to?
if there is a comparable FM, let me know. I don't 'see' any in package SO's FGs.

Hai ,
Your can send mail using the function Module : SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1 , check where you need to use this function module any user exit is available for this at the time of print preview .

Billing document to customer email ID

I want any billing document save then billing document should go to automatically the customer email ID. Already I have maintained the email ID into the customer master.
is it possiable? If yes, how?

Even for the Z output type you can set External send method in NACE.
Other config steps are same as provided you earlier i.e. NACE -- VV31 - VF31 varient creation --> SCOT settings --> Job Schedule for VF31 with varient --> Job schedule for SCOT.
Just one tip, if you want check SCOT settings are in place or not - generae spool request. In T.code SP01 select the spool request and Click Menu Bad --Spool Request --> Forward --> Send using SAP Office --> Type your Maild id. for e.g gmail ID.-Click on copy.
Now go to T.code SCOT just check you have configur Adr Type INT and within INT -- SMTP. Click on Start send process and click on Start. If you get output via mail through this process your SCOT settings are in place. Else you need to ask your basis team to configure.

Email Billing Document

I am trying to send billing document through mail and the functional guys have configured the output types and conditions. I have a challenge in that which program do we assign as well as the subroutine in config as parameters for output type to be able to send mail? Currently we are able to send mails to internet addresses through SAPoffice. The current assigned programs and routines i copied from standard output type MAIL tese being
RSNASTSO Subroutine SAPOFFICE_AUFRUF_VX
but after execution i get errors saying should enter at least one number and that there are errors in the address data. All email addressess and partner functions have been defined. Could the programs and subroutines be wrong?

Help with email pages document in word through 'share'?

When I type a document in Pages and then try to email it to someone who uses Word through Share the "send by mail > word" link won't work - send mail > pages and send mail > pdf are fine - any suggestions? This did work fine until today.

Often, this behavior is linked to wrongly formed filenames.
It would have been done for years (in fact since the delivery of mac OS X 10.1) but, at last, thanks to Lion, iWork refuse filenames embedding illegal characters like colon or slash.

Email Func:BCS Classes-Customizing the sender and receiver

In my functionality previously, I used FM 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1' wherein I can freely customized the sender and recipient. But I need to change it to BCS class due to 50 character limitation in Subject.
Please see thread Email Functionality:How to create Email Subject w/ more than 50 CHAR Length.
DATA: recipient          TYPE REF TO if_recipient_bcs.
*SENDER*
"Set Sender
      sender = cl_sapuser_bcs=>create( sy-uname ).
      CALL METHOD send_request->set_sender

The code above would always trigger the email of the owner of SY-UNAME. In my case, I need a custom one email, let's say, a hard coded non SY-UNAME email.
What I did:
Change the data definition of sender as follow, but this would give me not compatible type parameter.
DATA: sender             TYPE REF TO if_sender_bcs.
"sender = cl_sapuser_bcs=>create( '<sender_email_literal_goes_here>' ).
Question: Is this possible? or the class is fixed to SY-UNAME's email?

sender = cl_cam_address_bcs=>create_internet_address( w_sender ).
      CALL METHOD send_request->set_sender
        EXPORTING
          i_sender = sender.
SYNTAX ERROR: The field "SENDER" cannot be changed.
