Email can't be verified as its already in use with another apple id
Hi there,
This is my conundrum.
When I got my iPhone 3Gs, I made an apple id with my @hotmail.com email.
Then when I got an @me.com email about a year later, and automatically I have two apple id's.
Well I tried to make the switch over to just using my @me.com apple id for everything as I don't use the @hotmail.com email anymore.
But now its saying that my @me.com email can't be verified for my @me.com apple id because its in use with a different apple id.
Somehow my @hotmail.com account was verified with the @me.com email.
I changed the @hotmail.com apple id to not be verified with the @me.com email anymore.
After successfully changing it I tried to get the @me.com account to have the @me.com email be the primary email address.
But it still says that it is verified with another account. I am at my wits end trying to figure this out. Any help?

My secondary e-mail address used on my daughter's ipod can no longer work. She uses this as her imessage texting. First it needed to be verified. Once I tried to verify it on appleid support, It states, that it is already in use with another apple id. She used it for weeks before this happened.

I have been trying to log in to the game center for 2 days now with no luck. I have an apple id and have never used game center before. It keeps telling me my email is already in use with another apple id and I have no idea how to get around this and would like to be able to play my games.
If the problem persists, you'll probably have to make another apple id, it wont take off any games or music or apps or anything you've bought it will all stay there, i have two apple id's and i don't have a problem with anything.

i tried to registrate my new iphone 5c, but everytime i put in the serial number in my support profile it tells me that the iphone is already registrated with another apple id.....When i started the iPhone for the first time i used the same id that tried to registrate it with. What is the problem here ?

That does not answer the question. I'm going to take a guess and say that whoever you bought it from is NOT actually an authorized reseller for the iPhone. If you'd like to give us the details on exactly where you bought it, maybe you can disprove that.
In any event, the "solution" to your problem is to return the phone for a refund. Then you can buy one from a legitimate source. -
when trying to launch facetime on mac, a message drops down that says "unable to verify email because it is already in use by another Apple ID". The mac tech things it's an itunes problem. Anybody?
You need to select the "Manage My Account" link and not the "Reset Your Password" link. Once you use the "Manage My Account" it will ask you to log in and in there you should see which email addresses are verified.

When I attempt to connect to iCloud I get the error message: Apple id's email address cannot be verified. There is nothing wrong with my apple id and I do not want to change it.Any suggestions?

i have an iphone 4s i signed out of my itunes on the devise and my friend signed herself into ituned but i signed her out an myself back in but my purchased songs and tones cannot download. it gives me a message of:this device is already associated with an apple id. this device can be used with another apple id in 82 days! is there anyway for me to fix this or override something. im freaking out!!
Sorry: once a device has been authorised for a particular iTunes account you can't change it to another until 90 days have passed. This is to prevent people cirumventing the restrictions of purchases to one account from consteantly swopping between accounts. You will have to wait for the 82 remaining days, and there is no workaround.

How can I update an app (iphoto) that was registered with another apple id?
I bought an used Macbook Air, with Macosx 10.7.3 on it. It included apps like Iphoto and garage band. When I want to update them, I can't because the App Store is requiring the old apple ID.
Is there a way to change the apple ID for updates of apps that came with the OS?
I've tried to trash Iphoto and download it again from the app store but instead of "install" the button says "Accept" (to accept updates). However, when I click on it it asks for the old Apple ID.

You can't merge or change Apple ID. Applications are tied with the Apple ID used to make the purchases.
In your case the only way to download them again is to use the old Apple ID. -
Isn't Messages Beta supposed to be everywhere you are? ie iPhone, MacBook Pro to iPad. Why am I getting this error? How would one correct the problem, to have Messages Beta everywhere?
Use the same id you are using to log into these boards and set that ONE id up with all of your devices.
Now, they should all sync. Make sure there are no other emails attached to recieve iMessages other then your one email.
What I find the most useful is using the @me.com account you get with using iCloud.
on ios: settings>messages>receive at and add your me.com account under your number.
on osx, Messages>preferences>accounts>iMessages
also do this with FaceTime. Make it the same email address as the rest.
Now everyhting is synced!

I have purchased an album and its on my computer in library, plays there and on Ipod as downloaded but cant get it in to music. also havent been able to get my music that I download into hard drive to sync either, afraid to restore [reset] because with have to re-download all of my cd s again. HELP
It means exactly what it says. For redownloading via iCloud (which is what you are doing).
Computers and devices can be associated with a different Apple ID once every 90 days. Days remaining indicates the number of days before you can associate that specific computer or device with a different Apple ID. -
I can't download musics on my appple id.

Your Apple ID can be associated with up to 10 devices. Once a new Apple ID is introduced it disables the other Apple ID for 90 days. The article below will give more information on the matter.
