Email configuration for report

Hi,
I have already configured the Email configuration using SCOT.I able to send a mail to end user sucessfully.The thing is that the functional consultant generate the report every day 8.00pm using background job.This report automaticaly send to one end user through email.Is possiable to configure in sap?If it possiable how to configure?
Please advise me.

But we had not chosen this option while configuring the EPM product, so I think email server doesn't require authentication as it might not be protected.
Can you please let me know what properties should be enabled on email server related to EPM system, as I have heared that anonymous authentication should be enabled on the email server?

Configure for Report writer

Hi
I have a ZZZZ transparent table with data, that is not a pool or cluster table, and would want to be able to use Report Writer to search from this table and create RW reports.
1. Is this possible?
2. What are the set up tables needed to configure for RW? I could think of only T804A and T804B.
Does anyone have a soft copy of the steps in doing this? I am going through the SAP Help and it seems that there are steps missing, and I am unable to complete the process of creating a custom Library for this table.

COPA is a mini data warehouse and each company have to define the datasource structure, called profit segment, based on their own profit analysis requirement before they create any PA reports. Since the profit segment could be different from company to company, no univeral PA report can be used for all companies, that is also why SAP normally do not provide any standard reports in KE30.
So, you have to first define the characteristics, value fields, and profit segment with the characteristics and value fields (KEA0). Then create your own PA reports with the segment you define forms (KE34, KE31).
Forms are the structures required as the basis for the definition of reports

When i start the report (Content Management -> Reports -> Approval Maintenance Report), the report is running, but when i go for Running Reports related link there is no reports are currently running. Do i need to have more configuration for this.

The problem fixed itself when I uninstalled ZumoDrive free cloud storage and also Growl the notifier application. Had to employ AppZapper to uninstall all related files.... but all worked a treat. All is back to normal.

The answer is NO. Oracle Beehive only provides support for BlackBerry, iPhone and Android. Not even Windows phones :(

Hi,
I would like to configure the email in the portal.
We have a Get Support link in the portal. Whenever the user clicks on that link, it asks for the Password Reset? I would like to change the password.
I enter all the fields (userid, last name, first name and email). But it says Incorrect Information entered, cannot send email with the new password.
The users are maintained in SAP R/3 Backend.
Could you please tell me the process of configuring the email address of the portal admin. As of now we havent configured the email. The system we are using is EXCHANGE.

Is it possible to create a Gmail email profile on IPCU that allows users in an enteprise to enter their unique account name and password from their mobile device? Does anybody know the exact settings?
According to apple ipcu help "Users can change some of the mail settings you provide in a profile, such as the account name, password, and alternative SMTP servers. If you omit any of this information from the profile, users are asked to enter it when they access the account."

Email configuration for i-supplier

Hi ,
I have some information for configuring i-supplier on my EBS-R12.1.2.
can i use the same email id (imap a/c) used for the workflow to the i-supplier so that the users get the mails or i should use a different imap a/c
i have one instance in which the i-supplier is attached to the workflow mailer imap a/c, but my workflow mailer is going down frequently with the error unable to connect to mailstore , but before i-supplier is not configured my workflow mailer would never go down. so i think by configuring the i-supplier to the same imap a/c is causing the issue

Changing JDBC Datasource Configuration for Report with Sub reports at once

The Env details are as follows
CR Developer
Version 14.0.2.364 RTM
We are using JDBC Connection Datasource for our CR2011 report which contains 30+ sub reports. Each of the sub report uses a JDBC Datasource to connect to Postgres database and Since the JDBC connection string changes on each environment we need to edit each sub report every time we switch environments.
Is there a easy way to accomplish this on all sub reports at one shot?
I am aware that if we use ODBC connection it would be easy since we can just change the DSN config and it will start working. But we are not using ODBC connection since We are seeing that our report (with too many sub reports) crashes when we use ODBC driver for Postgres.
Any help/suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi Experts,
We are using CPS Redwood for Job scheduling .Version is M33.92-68971
Is there any configurtion which can do in CPS so that it will send email to users if a particular job runs for more than specified duration
Say we keep a limit that if any job runs for more than 2 hours and not compelted it should send email to a particular DL
Is this possible

Hi Murali,
You can achieve this through alerting.
Under alerting -->Job definition Alert source->Create new Job definition alerts source.
Fill the required details, Job pattern(U can give job name if the name if no other job name exist with similar pattern)
Under status select running and put delay amount to 2 and delay units as hours.
Create job default alert escalation , alert source email(not required if u already handling alert through alerting gateway)

My PW keeps disappearing from the Accounts page whenever I log in to Mail???? Unable to send or retirieve Emails Through Mail program. Keep getting asked for Key Chain Log In......

Back up all data.
Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Keychain Access in the icon grid.
Select the login keychain from the list on the left side of the Keychain Access window. If your default keychain has a different name, select that.
If the lock icon in the top left corner of the window shows that the keychain is locked, click to unlock it. You'll be prompted for the keychain password, which is the same as your login password, unless you've changed it.
Right-click or control-click the login entry in the list. From the menu that pops up, select Change Settings for Keychain "login". In the sheet that opens, uncheck both boxes, if not already unchecked.
From the menu bar, select
Keychain Access ▹ Preferences ▹ First Aid
If the box marked Keep login keychain unlocked is not checked, check it.
Select
Keychain Access ▹ Keychain First Aid
from the menu bar and repair the keychain. Quit Keychain Access.

Hi Neel,
If you have followed all the necessary step mentioned in the message and still no luck. Please open up a customer message by opening your system connection and providing the necessary ID and access.
Also if you receive any message in the UI while trying to send mail or any JAVA server logs will help.
