Email Delete button has become a link to a survey

The Delete button on my VZ email have become a link to a survey. Is this controlled by VZ or has some one or some thing high jacked my email? It is very annoying. Every time I want to delete several emails at once, this survey pops up.
How can I get rid of this link and have the Delete button be the Delete buttom?

Just Deleted Batches of emails using MyVerizon-CheckEmail to get to the emails
Did not get the "survey" just a confirmation of the number of emails that I deleted

I have an extremely long and important email thread that has become unprintable (and in some cases unreadable) because each preceding email in the thread is indented and eventually the text is very far to the right margin and even beyond. Some of the text is even showing up as only 1 letter per line. I tried selecting all and then left justifying it, thinking that that would shift everything to the left, but it didn't work. When I go to print the thread, it shows as 344 pages, which although long, I can't believe it's that long. What do you think happened to cause this and can it be corrected?

Ick. So it can't just work sensibly? Sensible would be either autosave overwrites previously autosaved versions or all autosaved versions would be deleted when the message is finally sent. Allowing previous message versions to accumulate endlessly might be beneficial to someone, but does not seem like sensible default behavior.

After updating my browser my "open a new tab" button has become useless, how do I fix this?

Uninstall the Ask toolbar and it should work again. There is a compatibility issue with the Ask toolbar and Firefox that prevents new tabs from being opened.
There are a couple of places to check for the Ask toolbar:
* Check the Windows Control panel for the Ask Toolbar - http://about.ask.com/apn/toolbar/docs/default/faq/en/ff/index.html#na4
* Also check your list of extensions, you may be able to uninstall it from there - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Uninstalling+add-ons

Email delete button missing

Today I noticed that when checking my emails using the iphone 5 - when I choose the edit button in the upper right corner as if I wanted to remove several emails at once by clicking on the circle next to the email and then putting those clicked in the trash went missing. Now when I hit edit - I still have ability to click on circles next to an email, but I don't have the ability to delete several (Or even 1 email). Has anyone had this problem??????

The button has become insensitive in iPhone 4

The button in iPhone 4 needs to be pressed several times before it wakes up. This happened before I upgraded to ios5 and still continues to be post the ios5 upgrade. Need help as this is really frustrating. Thanks guys

The volume down button has become hard to push down, almost stuck and my phone does at 20%-30% on my iphone 5. Do I qualify for it to be swapped?

I have an iphone 5 and I've been in before for the speaker because it doesn't sound as loud as before. Te volume down button takes effort to turn the volume down where as the volume up button is literally just a click. Also my phones been dying between 20%-30% sometimes higher. I have an appointment at 5pm today and I wanna ensure I get a properly phone working before my warranty is up (within the next two weeks) what should I do?

I said that cause I've gone in for two of the issues before and all they said was to do the whole restore backup stuff... Partial is hardware and from my understanding the either fix it or swap it out. I just wanna make sure I have a working phone before my warranty is up. Otherwise I'm going to have to pay a deductible for a new phone... So I guess what I'm trying to say is, is there anything I can say to benefit me?

The delete key on your keyboard will always work.
You can add a delete button to the Mail Toolbar by right clicking that toolbar and selecting Customize. Find the Delete button in the dialog box that opens and drag it onto the Mail Toolbar.
There is also a delete button on the header of the Message Pane if you have that turned on. Pressing F8 toggles the message pane on and off.

No delete button for mail

I have just updated the firmware to OS4.1 and the delete button has totally disappeared from Mail. Theres a new Edit feature at inbox level which you can pick up multiple emails as in messages but still no ability to delete the emails.......anyone else got this?

I have the same problem with my gmail account.
With 4.02 I was able to delete a message either with the button or swiping on the message, after upgrading to 4.1 the action is "archive" rather than delete.

Thanks to a guy on this forum I found the solution on another thread.
You have to go to the gmail account settings and turn "Archive messages" OFF then is possible to delete messages

Delete button doesn't seem to use branch to return to page

I have set up a single update form with multiple report pages pointing to it. I did this using the basic report / form option, so the create button is on the report linking to the form along with an edit button to the form for update and delete. There is also a cancel button on the form.
After perusing the forum, I set up an item on the form to accept the passed page number of the various report pages and set the unconditional branch back to this button value. This works well for create, update and cancel. They all return nicely to the originating page.
However, the delete button has the standard javascript popup asking for verification of the delete. That pops up, the record gets deleted and I get the action processed message, but I don't get back to the originating page - instead I get an error "Error ERR-1016 Application "122" Page "0" not found (requested language="en-us") which appears to say it isn't referencing the item for the return page. I know the item has the correct value because it is not currently hidden for testing.
The branch point is on submit after processing and pointing to a page in the application with value of &P3_BRANCH_TO.
If I replace the URL for the javascript popup in the delete button with the link to the item, I don't get the delete at all. It just goes back to the originating page. So the javascript does more than just give a popup.
How can I get around this situation?

Hi Gillian,
The "reset page" process is there to remove from the session the values of all items on the page. In most cases, this is ok as this is what you would want to do. In some cases, however, this can cause problems. In your case, because your P3_BRANCH_TO item is on the same page, then it was also being cleared out along with the rest of the data, so when the branch was attempting to read it, the value was actually null rather than an actual page number.
There are two things you could try, to ensure that you clear out the session values that you don't need but keep the ones that you do.
1 - Put the items you want to keep on another page where possible or create Application Items (through Shared Components) and set these values instead. I do this for my G_RETURN_PAGE item (which I think is similar to what you are doing with your P3_BRANCH_TO item) - I set this value on my base pages (the pages that the user needs to return to after performing any action) and then use &G_RETURN_PAGE. in the branch. As "reset page" only clears data out of pages, any application item is not affected, so will always be available.
2 - In your branch, you can set the value back to itself. So, the "Set these items" setting would have P3_BRANCH_TO and the "With these values" would have &P3_BRANCH_TO.

Delete Button in Class

Hello All,
I am unable to delete characteristics from a class as the delete button has got disabled. The problem I guess is due to usage of change number. Once I go to the class after giving the change number, I see that the delete button has got disabled.
Can somebody throw some light on how to come out of this issue?
PS:
I want to archive the change master records too!!!

Hi Adithya,
you can undo (revert) all changes related to a change number with CCUNDO transaction.

You have to give the change number and it will delete all modifications which are related to that. You also have a simulation mode I propose to simulate it before undoing.

Delete button on dial pad

I have tried various searches for this and came a cropper - hence the question below.
I perform the steps in the sequence below
1. I dial my bank's number (say 2222 3333)
2. I get an automated voice prompt telling me to enter my bank account number - let's say this is 23455432
3. I click the keypad and get the familiar numbers screen
4. I tap 23454532 - notice I made a mistake by interchanging the 4 and 5 (the 5th and 6th digits)
5. There's now no way for me to delete/edit the number because the delete button has disappeared - once the call is connected note only the numbers show and the delete button does not
The question is - is there a way to edit this number or not?
This has been a source of agony and I'd like to know the answer.

Once you have dialed the telephone number and tap Call, the numbers (tones) are sent as soon as you press a number on the key pad, so there is no way to retract a number that was already sent. The only way you could get around this that I can think of would in your case pose a grave security risk, but here goes. Create a contact entry for your bank when you enter the phone number, put a pause then enter the account number. Again, I must warn you that in your case this would be a serious security issue.

Satellite A660 - Delete button sensitivity

Hi,
I bought a Satellite A660 a week ago. Everything is fine, except for one thing, so far: the delete button has to be hit perfectly in the middle to work. What I mean is that if you hit the delete button even very slightly off centre (laterally), it doesn't do anything. All of the other buttons I've tested work perfectly - even if you hit them right on either edge.
Given the frequency of use of the delete button in editing, you can imagine how frustrating this is!
How do I go about getting this repaired or replaced?

Hi buddy,
Its not easy to say something about this but from my own experience I can say every keyboard button has the same sensitivity, I dont notice any difference between the buttons.
So in your case I would contact an authorized service provider and ask the guys about this problem. They can tell you if its normal or not and if not they can replace the keyboard. This would be for free if your notebook is covered by warranty. :)
