Apple has an out of warranty replacement program, the cost in the US is $199. I don't know if any original iPhones are still available under this program(remember, that phone was discontinued sometime ago), but even if they were, why would you spend $200 on a discontinued phone?

I bought my ipod touch 5 about 9 months ago it is no longer working right there are vertical colored stripes on half the screen and it automatically is clicking things that i didn't want opened. My charger has developed one of those wrinkles near the plug and only works if I hold it a certain way and push it in weird. I want a new charger from Apple but don't want to pay for it. I bought a warranty along with my iPhone 5s and the worker said I would get a free phone if I broke mine since I had a warranty, he also said something about a new charger. Can I take my broken one into the store and trade it in for a new one for free since I have the warranty?

Really hot, as in too hot to touch? Have you tried a reset, or a restore on the device. You need to do those things before you take it to Apple for evaluation. It is Apple's decision if it should be replaced.

The iCloud was never verified therefore never backing up anything on my iphone 4s because it was the wrong email and now I'm trying to make a new one but it says if I delete the account it will remove it's data from my phone. So if I put delete account will I lose everything on my Iphone?
This was EXACTLY what I needed about the purchases I made from my device. However, is there a way to re-download other ones you've made from a computer? Because I realized some of them were not just purchased from my device.

From what you're describing appears to be Activation Lock, a security measure provided by Apple that makes it harder for people to use a lost or stolen device. You will need to enter the password for the Apple ID the device is prompting you for.

I could not remember my apple ID password so I made a request for a new one. When I received the email with the link on resetting my password it was addressed to John Ohare. My name is not John Ohare. Does this mean someone has hacked my iCloud account?

If you suspect unauthorized access to your apple ID I would normally recommend resetting your password, but you have already done this.

Regarding receiving texts as emails: Can you apply this setting to one individual? I want to continue to receive texts from everyone else except one person!
Don't want to block the person, just have all his texts going directly to my email so that I can maintain a continuous record of his text contacts (rather than remain in text form).
It appears that I must select an option that makes ALL texts go to email, which I'd prefer not doing. -

If it talks about your password it is probably a scam.
Take a look in your purchase history and see if there has really been a purchase.
