Email distribution options with the Hyperion Workspace Scheduler

Hello everybody,
We have scheduled several Hyperion Workspace Batches that use an email-bursting list to email out pdf reports to our user community. All of this works fine but the problem is that we have no detailed trace of the sending of report / destinee combination.
Also the emails are individualised, so even if serveral users receive the same report, we cannot do a single check with a user to see if all the other destinees are also in the To-section of the email.
The questions we have are the following:
* can we change the sending of the email in scheduler in such a way that all destinees are on the same email (in the TO section e.g.)? We would add ourselves on each email, so we receive a copy of all outgoing smtp email traffic.
* if not, can we alter the way messages are logged, so we can see the destinee and the report in the email?
* is there a way to have the outgoing emails in the Sent of our Exchange system?

I solved this issue...It was with Hyperion Services those were stop responding some how.....but I stopped each service and restarted then those started working again...

I have installed hyperion from scratch in a distributed environment...everything was working fine.......i.e. shared services, workspace, essbase, sql server, and hfm. I was able to logon and navigate different options in the hyperion products...but essbase stopped working when I re-started all four servers ....?
(1) When I restarted all four servers and stopped and restarted all hyperion services as per giving sequence then everything works fine but essbase EAS console and workspace web console...i was getting error message " could not connect to administration server" whenever i try to connect EAS console to essbase then I went to services there I saw workspace agent and workspace web application service is down.
(2) as soon as I started those both services then my shared services automatically stopped but I was able to logon in Essbase console and workspace console but my shared services are down...
(3) as soon as I start shared service they started but my workspace agent and workspace web application automatically stopped...and when I try to start again workspace web application then I get this error "[ Could not start the hyperion workspace-web application services on local computer. Error 1067: the process terminated unexpectedly]"
I have been searching online and googling but have a hard luck to get some best solution for this...can some one help me or guide me to walk through with this issue...

I solved this issue...It was with Hyperion Services those were stop responding some how.....but I stopped each service and restarted then those started working again...

I need to able to print a pdf that is locked. It has fields to fill in but then to save a copy I need to "print" to PDF not save as a pdf because that is not an option with the document. Is there a way to do this?

Sorry I thought was just a one off, it would be no use for large volumes.
Do you not have this avaiable in the print menu in Preview with these documents?
I have also found a link on the Adobe web site that discusses that this facilty is enabled by the creater of the PDF.

If you do a web search there are various claims on how to save a protected PDF, I have'nt a way to test the proceedures. I would want a copy of any forms that I sent off, not sure why they protect them in this way, there must be a reason.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. ( I search for iChat questions when I have finished in the iChat Forum)
So the menu bar reads iChat, File, Edit, View, Buddies, Video, Window and Help
There is no Buddy List open.
There is no other window for iChat open.
In the iChat Menu you only have access to Status.
Is an item ticked in the list ?
Is this a green (Available item) or Red ( an Away one) ?
Can you access the Accounts option ? (Sitll in the iChat Menu)
Is anything in here ticked ?
In the Window menu any Logged in account should appear in the list (Between the Next Chat and File Transfer items)
It would be useful to know which version of iChat this is.
If no account is ticked (iChat Menu > Accounts) or not showing in the Window Menu, plus you cannot determine the Status and you cannot access the Preferences then you need to access your Home Folder/Library/Preferences
As the Library in the Home Holder is Invisible in Lion you will need the Finder's Go Menu > Go to Folder option (you can use it in earlier OS versions if you want)
Type in:-
~/Library/Preferences
Find the file called com.apple.ichat.plist
Drag it to the Trash and Restart iChat.
This will lose all the settings in iChat that you have changed from Defaults but there is no way around this.

If you have a snapfish account, use your snapfish email address and password to login to ePrintCenter.com with. If you do not have a snapfish account, go to snapfish.com and create an account and then use the information you create on snapfish to login to ePrintCenter.com

Is retaining hotsynch an option with the pre plus // how to handle syncing 2 devices to one data source

I just bought two Palm Pre plus' from Verizon. I have no need for gmail - is it possible to continue using hotsync with the new device (I have the original Treo 600)?
If not, are people comfortable with their data being "out there" on Google's servers?
Finally, if you have two devices for your family can you sync both devices to one data source?

Assuming you mean you wish to continue using Palm Desktop or M$ Outlook to sync your data to your new Pre phones, you should review this stickied thread near the top of this board. It discusses several third-party solutions for continuing to use desktop synchronization instead of using a Google account. Note, these solutions sync directly to the Pre's contacts and calendar databases, rather than synchronizing with the Classic application, which as mentioned above is also an option.
However, the two Chapura products (Echo for Palm Desktop and Pocketmirror for Outlook) only have the capability of synchronizing one assigned user name per desktop. In other words, at least the last time I looked, they don't allow you to sync multiple separate phones with the same desktop without going into the Windows registry and changing it.

Can't speak for everyone, but I am comfortable with my stuff on Google.

You can easily do this with Google, by one of two ways I think: either setting up each family member's account separately, directly on your device, or by sharing the Google calendars in your own google.com account.

Can not find the Skin Soften option with the adjustment brush 2.0

When I first installed 2.0 I had an option for skin softening with the adjustment brush. Now it's gone. Does everyone using Lightroom 2.0 have skin soften with the adjustment brush?

In Develop press K for Adjustment Brush (or click the Brush Icon). The it appears in the drop down menu next to Effect: that defaults to Exposure and has a small set of up and down arrows to the right of it. Soften Skin is last after a divider. It also appears (????) there for Graduated Filter (M).

Can you mark an email as urgent with the standard mail program?

How do you mark and email as urgent? I am trying to convert to using my Ipad more at work, but cannot if I can not mark my emails with different priorities.

I have found a workaround for this problem. On the Emoji keyboard there is an icon of an envelope with the red arrow above it. I place that in the subject line at the start, and it works really well.

I am having a hard time getting my icloud email to set-up on my galaxy tablet. I had no problem getting it set-up on my note, but I'm not having the same luck with the Note 8.0. How Can I find out if the email is POP3 or IMAP.

If you search these forums you'll find other people having the same problem. From what I remember the problem is an IMAP bug in the Samsung, which has apparently been fixed in a later firmware uodate.
