Email documents created using template designer
Dear Experts,
I am in the process of creating word documents using word document templates (template designer) in the CRM 2007 system. I wanted to find out if its possible to email the word documents generated from the templates using the same screen. if so, are any additional settings required to do so?

View documents created using MacDraw Pro & Print Shop Deluxe on an iMac
I have documents created using MacDraw Pro and Print Shop Deluxe and would like to view them on an iMac running Snow Leopard. Do any applications exist that will open either flavor document into a format that looks as similar as possible to the original?
Thank you.Several months ago, I started working on this issue and thought that I had it resolved by uninstalling the "Internet Printing Client" from "Windows Features" (Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features > Turn Windows features on or off > expand Print and Document Services > uncheck Internet Printing Client). This change seemed to help at the time, as I was then unable to reproduce the issue and the end-user was unable to reproduce the issue for two weeks after (thus I closed the help desk case). But now it looks like the issue is back. Maybe the above setting will help someone else, but I'm now looking for a permanent fix.
PS: I have instructed our users on the "Save as PDF" option provided in Office 2010, but I don't think that is used all the time, and the PDF printer is there only option in other applications (IE for example).
Anybody had this issue and found a fix?

Can't open 1 document created using travel journal template
Since installing Snow Leopard yesterday I found out I can't open this one file I created using the travel journal template. All other Pages '09 files are fine. I just get this error message telling me Pages had to close my document "unexpectedly".

Don't see why it would need to use this plug-in. And I don't recall choosing this plug-in. There must be a way around this. To open this file by turning off that plug-in perhaps. Site created using template has additional lists ???
I have recently migrated from WSS 3.0 to Sharepoint 2010 Foundation. Everything went pretty smoothly. I had a template that I migrated over. Plus I took one of the sites that was migrated over and created another template using it.
My problem is when I create a new site (and use one of my templates) I get extra lists in my new site. In other words, there is a list in the template called "Plan Holders". When I create a new site using the template I have the original
list called "Plan Holders", plus I have two more identical list called "Plan Holders [1]", and "Plan Holders [2]". I cannot figure out what is causing this. I can go into SharePoint Designer and manually delete the
extra lists but I don't really want to do that. HELP!! thankstry importing the site template to visual studio and check if you have any additional lists

Hi All,
I have created a Site and List Workflow using SharePoint designer 2013, its a simple list workflow with one stage init on creating an item.
When i verified the status of workflow its showing as initiator = Anonymous and Internal Status - Not started. Please a screen shot below

Grouping of document templates created in template designer
Hi,
we use document templates when creating activities. We have defined profiles for document templates and assigned them to transaction types. Now when I create activity type "A" I can use for attachment only templates defined on profile which is assigned to activity type "A". My question is if it is possible to do more detailed grouping based not only on tranaction type but based on other attributes of activity, for example "reason".

hi,
i am creating an ebay template and i have designed the boxes and banner i want etc,
when i import it into dreamwaeaver i carnt edit it, its like an image, i have sliced it and imported the html
i dont hasve much experiance with dreamweaverr, i was hoping somebody could point me in the right direction,
i want to use what i have designed in fireworks for my template which i assume needs to be created in dreamweaver.
for example i have created a description box which in the template i will need to be able to type in etc

Updates to Documents created via template
I noticed something I thought was strange and need to check if this is normal. I have been creating a website using a template. As I began to make pages based upon the template, I noticed spry category missing and went back into my template to add it. When I saved the file, dreamweaver went to update all of my files based upon the template. Once completed, all the pages that I had open were updated with the new category.
There was however 1 page I did not have open at the time of the update which was the index.html file. When I went to open it and try to update the file via this method:
Modify > Template > Update Current Page, nothing changed. I refreshed my index page in the hopes the update went thru but nothing had changed. I then opened up my index.html page, made a dummy change to my template and updated it and the update took. I then removed the dummy change and updated again and this update took.
It seems that if the pages being updated are not open when I put thru template updates, the pages created with the template are not updating correctly. Is this normal? Am I doing something incorrect?

the first page you see should not be missing that (index.html). The rest of the pages are from the template and the template does not contain any video source since they are going to be different on each page.
I just put an image placeholder there since I will be putting different videos on the different pages.

I think I need help with that one. I wasn't sure looking at the code what I am doing wrong (remember I'm fairly new to coding). Everything seemed to work perfectly from page to page. Can you give me a little more help on what is wrong?

What product we need on the server to pre-populate XFA form created using LiveCycle Designer?
We run our web applications on IBM Lotus Notes/Domino server (Version 8.5.3). I need to figure out what is that specific server component that we need to install on our server just to pre-populate data on to the XFA forms. (We don't need to merge PDF files, or attach any workflow, or submit data entered in the XFA forms to any web server.)
I understand that Adobe LiveCycle ES4 is a suite of products that does a lot more than what we need to do. So, in that suit of products which specific product is that we need to buy & install on our server that enables us to use java code to populate data on to the XFA forms. Also, will that server component work on IBM Lotus Notes/Domino server or is it only going to work on a J2EE server?

How do I change page order on a document created in Pages 5.1?
After reading some of the posts about the lack of ability to change page order in Pages 5.1, I decided to re-install Pages 09 from the DVD that came with my computer because some posts said it was a better program. After inserting the disc and responding to all the prompts it seemed to download everything but I can't find Pages 09, I only seem to have 5.1.
I will take a solution to either problem, but all I really want to do is change the order of 2 pages on a 9 page document created using 5.1.It is in your Applications/iWork folder.
Make sure you update it to the latest v4.3:

Printing a pdf document created in Acrobat Pro 9.0
Solved the problem of printing a pdf document created using Acrobat Pro 9.0 with SL - tried many different things form adobe etc and by accident discovered while in Acrobat you have to select ADVANCED in Print then click onto SAVE AS IMAGE in next box and then OK and all prints as it should. Just thought others may want to know this if they have had problems 1
I'm reviewing your post and while I see a fix, I can't locate the problem that you may have originally posted. Since I'm having issues, I'm hoping your's were the same.
Sometimes when I print an Adobe Acrobat 9.0 document, most of the printed word fail to print out (although they are in the PDF document). Almost all graphical elements print and the occasional line of text--but most text is missing. Was ti your issue?

Create document using SharePoint Designer workflow
I am using SharePoint Online (2013 version) and SharePoint Designer 2013. I have tried to create a document library using "Create Item in List" action. A word document is created after the workflow executes, but the created document is corrupt.
It doesn't open in Word Web App. When I open it using Word, it shows a blank page.
I have some library columns inserted as quickparts in the template (tried both docx and dotx), but none of that appears in the document created by the workflow.
Has anyone tried this successfully? Please share your experiences.
Rajesh ElumalaiAfter migrating from 2010 to 2013 i too have ran into this issue. The 'create list item' action does not appear to work. Documents are created but cannot be opened
"No details Found" is the error message when opening the document. I have tried this on several Farms all with the same issue. Appears to be a bug running 2010 workflows in 2013.
