Email doesn't display
WWhen I tried to open my email today I got a pop up window saying that I should contact the sender and request that they format it differently. I received this for every one of my emails, even those that opened just fine yesterday. How do I fix this?
Was this apple email? It was acting funny around 10am PST - I was getting a server/certificate error-- so cancelled out of apple mail -- now its working fine - so suspect a problem at apple.

Installed new Lion OS and it doesn't display Google email. Any suggestions on correcting the problem?
I had this issue for SO LONG. Turns out that it was a router issue; SPI Firewall specifically.
I have a Netgear router, and had to disable SPI Firewall in order for Google Maps to work.
The issue was that the maps would load, but the tiles would fail to redraw as I zoomed in or out. Safari or Firefox or Camino had same issue, and all are fixed now.
Now I can zoom in and out, and the Google Maps pages redraw instantly!
Look up SPI Firewall to learn more. I'm advised that if I have the Mac Firewall set up, then the router Firewall can be safely disabled. (I have only a small network of three Macs at home here.)

Lumia 928 ActiveSync email doesn't display subfolders
The email itself works flawlessly with the exception of the fact that any subfolders created under the Inbox umbrella do not show nor do the emails that have exchange rules directing them to such. I've checked all the settings for anything that resembles "include subfolders" but cannot find anything. Anyone else come across this and have a workaround? This is corporate email i'm using. TIA

Mail doesn't display full email text, only displays the subject line.
My preview shows first three lines of email, but when I chose the email specifically mail doesn't display any lines of text. Been this way for about ten days. Please help. BenAwesome. Rebooting the phone worked. I had never turned the phone off before (for the next guy - you hold down the "sleep" button for longer than you'd think and that'll do a full shutdown). thank you for your help.

Resetting email icon so it doesn't display over 6000 emails on icon.
Resetting email so icon doesn't display over 6000 emails on icon
I was having the same problem, with a large file that was causing my Preview to open it everytime and slow it down. The fact is that it was opening the file even if it was deleted. But it was opening a temporary file somewhere, somehow.
I don't know if that's available in previous version os macOS, but I'm using Lion. Here's what I did:
1. Right-click on the icon by the side of the title of the window/document you wish to close
2. You can see now the path of that file - click on the folder right beneath the file name
3. That will take you the where the file is - delete the file.
4. Go back to preview and close the window.
To me this worked instantly. It wasn't closing before and now it did because the file really didn't exist anymore.
Cheers

I recently changed my email on my apple account but the old email address is displayed when I go into iTunes or App Store not allowing me to sign into my account. At some points it's a vicious circle because it asks for a password at key times when trying to correct the problem. Note that the new email address shows when I log into my Apple account and shows it was verified. For some reason the system isn't updating to the new email in ALL places.
I hope this is the right place to post this. Thanks!Apple doesn't monitor here. Best we can do is to push you to contact Apple directly.

Quit the app completely. Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the mail app icon. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar. Try mail again.
If that doesn't work - Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
The video screen (and its controls) doesn't display. All the other parts of the screen display correctly.

.flv doesn't display in browers
Problem: progressive FLV doesn't display in browsers
This is what I did: 1) inserted flash video (about 5 MB and
encoded in Flash Video dEncoder CS3) into a DW page. 2)Saved and
checked that it plays correctly in DW preview. 3) uploaded page,.
FLV and required FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf to server. 4) Checked
with server; they allow progressive FLVs. 5) From Adobe.com I
downloaded and replaced FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf in my local
folder in case cross-scripting vulnerability=the culprit.
6)uploaded new FLVPlayer_Progressive.swf to server. Tried it at
root level and in folder analogous to local file. 7)Cleared
browsers' caches, histories. Refreshed page. 8) did all of this on
Mac OS10.4 and Windows XP (except #5 because Adobe site has 404
error on cross-scripting vulnerability link for Macs . Have
notified Adobe about 404 three times.)

Photos in emails doesn't appear
Hello,
When I check my emails (hotmail) from Nokia E72 the photos which are in the email doesn't show, it gives me link for the photos only, but the photo itself does not appear. How can I get photos instead of the link? Is there any way? It's just another unique feature of Nokia's email client.
Our offices have motion detection IR CCTV which send out photos of activity to whoever is on call.
My old phones over the last 5+ years (WM and SE) could display the photo within the email no problem.
The E72 just shows the link which can take an age i.e. several seconds to several minutes to download (the images are only 17MB).
Meanwhile the Android phones and iPhone both show the images as expected. -
Flash content doesn't display in browsers
I recently updated Dreamweaver to 8.0.2. I updated an .swf
file, updated the link on my DreamWeaver page and uploaded
everything. When I saved the DreamWeaver page a window popped up
that said it was modifying the html to work with the updated
Internet Explorer. The new .swf file doesn't display on any browers
(Safari, FireFox, IE)
Does anyone know what's going on?Did you upload the Scripts folder that DW places into your
local site when
you do this?

Hi, New to Dreamweaver. Followed basic design example from a CS5 class by James Williamson on Lynda.com. All layout and standard features including images and background images are fine except my logo. It is positioned absolutely in upper left corner within the body, wrapper and header div. When previewing in browser lab the logo doesn't display in IE7. Works fine in other browsers and IE8. On browser compatibility check I get mention of float drop on my footer, but I don't think that would be my problem. Please help me. I want to make a template, but not with an image problem.
Thank you Richard. I used both validations and only received error & warning for ampersand in line 94. No problems with my main.css I'll try the fix later. I guess I have to copy and paste the code, I don't know how to get you a link since the file is still local. I'll start with htm page. Excuse my novice skills. I also put extra code in to try and fix float drop error, to no avail. Thank you.

My Pre doesn't display text of incoming mail mesages
Hi,
in the last few days I noticed that the mail program of my Palm Pre doesn't display any plain text of the incoming messages. It normally connects to mail server and load messages, attachements are displayed and open as usual but no text can be viewed. So I have to use web browser to get email. I've tried to delete and recreate the accounts but nothing changed.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Is there something I can try to solve this before the reset of the device?
Thanks and merry Christmas to all!
Guido
Post relates to: Pre p100ueu (O2)I just got a Pre over a week ago, and after updating to 1.3.5.1 the other day, I began having the same problem. I'm only syncing with one account, Gmail, and it seems (so far) to only be affecting one sender, a google email group list that I'm on. Some messages from the group contain the body text, some do not and are just blank emails. I've talked with one other person on the list who has a Pre and this just started happening to him too. We both get the email, with sender and everything intact, but upon opening the email, the body of it is not there, it's blank. But the Google Groups Disclaimer that accompanies any google groups email still shows up.
Any solutions would be greatly appreciated. -
New Cisco 1921 doesn't display running configuration
Hi All,
I've recently received this new Cisco 1921 routers with Cisco CP loaded, so it comes up with the annoying change username and password at first access. I've removed all of those files from the flash memory, and rebooted it, and it came up with the proper initial configuration dialog, which is what I wanted.
But, whenever I configure the router with a set of basic configuration, like interface, routing, and snmp loggings, and hit wr mem, it doesn't display at all when I do "sh run". It's weird cause when I do sh run | sec rip or any other stuff that I have configured, it shows up , but not in sh run at all.
What's the deal with the new routers??? Even sh version doesn't show the config-register or memory allocation details. Which is weird!
