Email download for sub folders needs manual trigger

If there are sub-folders in inbox of any mail account, emails in those folders are not downloaded automatically when they get pushed. It needs trigger like opening the folder and swipe down to check for updates.
Is there any way to make mail app to download those emails automatically as and when they are pushed?

According to your description, you need a email notification for sub-folder.
And you can try the following workaround:
Add the condition “display a Desktop Alert” in the Outlook rule which you have apply to the sub-folder.

My company recently switched to an internal Exchange Server. I have a Samsung Note 2 phone. In my Outlook, I have many Sub-folders that I use along with rules so that as email comes in, it is automatically placed in the Sub-folder. When
this happens, there is no notification on the Note 2 device that an email has come in. Nor does it download until I manually drill down on the phone to that particular folder. The long and short of it is I am not getting notified of these emails.
Is there a setting either on the phone or in Exchange that needs to be adjusted?

Turn off filters for sub-folders

If filters are applied to a folder and the filter bar is hidden it is easy to forget and wonder why pics are missing. Working through all folders and sub-folders to make sure filters are off for every one is time consuming - would it be possible to have a menu item for "Filters off including all subfolders"?

Umm, the catalog backups created by Lightroom are stored in uniquely numbered and dated folders, you also have the option of checking their integrity before opening the application. Even a dumb user would be hard pressed to unwittingly overwrite a backup.

If that is "sole" reason for disagreeing with me then you clearly know a heck of a lot less about Bridge / Photoshop / Camera Raw / Lightroom interoperability than I credited you with.
The default double-click behaviour with Bridge CS3 and Camera Raw 4.0 was to open TIFF/JPEGs that contained parametric data into Camera Raw. This drove a lot of folk nuts and was addressed by the inclusion of two new preference settings in Camera Raw 4.1. However, many photographers will pass out TIFF/JPEG to clients or 3rd parties for printing etc. There's no telling whether the recipients of such images have updated to 4.1 or even if they know that the new preferences in camera raw exist.
The Lightroom preference also addressed the situation where users got very ticked off with Lightroom writing development settings back into their non raw files.
I suggest you reread what I wrote in my earlier post, maybe even download a copy of CS3/ACR 4.0, run it in default mode, then let me know how long it takes before you start pulling your hair out.

Trying to set up email account for sub account

I have been trying to set up an email account for a sub account through verizon message center all day with no luck. It won't let me past the first screen. Any ideas?

PE10 Foto Downloader: Creating Sub Folders

Hi,
I'm new to PE10 and I want to choose a new concept for managing my photos.
Subfolders like Year Month from the creating date of the photo (JJJJMM - I need the german date format. JJJJ is for the year ) and a costum file name. I've no problem to set up the file name. But i can't find my desired sub folder option.
Is there anyone that can help me? With the subfolder option YYYYMMDD I'm afraid of, that I got to many folders in my directory.

You can use Create Subfolder option, then from the drop down select Custom name.

Recovery DB New-MailboxRestoreRequest -IncludeFolders for Sub Folders to a mailbox or pst.

I am trying to refine our restore from RDB process and include a method that will restore the specific folder from the RDB directly into the users mailbox or to a PST. When I execute the follwoing command it only works to restore root folders not just subfolders
within.
New-MailboxRestoreRequest -SourceDatabase RDB -SourceStoreMailbox 'DisplayName' -TargetMailbox 'DisplayName' -TargetRootFolder Restore -IncludeFolders '#Inbox/Test#' -AllowLegacyDNMismatch
This works in that it will create a root folder in the target mailbox but with no mail items. If I remove the Test subfolder from the string it will restore the complete inbox without fail. I would just like to target the subfolder for the restore either
to a mailbox or PST.
Any help is appreciated thanks.

Is there an APK android app downloader for Firefox? Need to download via PC then copy to a non-internet connected tablet for installation

I have two Android tablets that are not connected to the internet (long story). I'd like to download Android Apps via my PC and copy them to my Android tablets. I do not want to use the Chrome APK extension for a variety of reasons. The apps I need are free, but without an internet connection, I can't obtain them. They are not available for direct download from the developer sites.

Read the question again FredMcD, he was asking for ways to download .apk files on computer to then install them on Android tablets.

Apple Mail 8.0 does not display email body for local folders

Last week I upgraded to Yosemite on a 2013 Mac Air. The upgrade went smoothly, but now I notice that all my mail on my local folders (i.e., not my gmail account) is missing the content of the message. New mail filed after the upgrade displays fine and messages filed prior to the upgrade that were sent from me, display fine, but all mail received and filed before the upgrade is blank except for the header. I tried to move a message thinking it might force Mail to identify a problem...and it does. It gives me the message "The message '<MESSAGE TITLE>' could not be moved to the mailbox '<DESTINATION FOLDER>'. Couldn't load body for <MFLibraryMessage:0x600000584780, library id:2172 conversationID:1224 mailbox:2010 <SOURCE FOLDER>"
I have scoured the web for solutions, and there are similar symptoms regarding Apple Mail and IMAP accounts, but my IMAP mailboxes display fine.
I made a TimeMachine back up before the upgrade, so I could restore the old OSX (Mountain Lion) and try again, but I'd love to find an easier solution.

ok now I found a solution:
Navigate to the folder which contains the local mailboxes as MBOX-Files. ~/Library/Mail/V2/Mailboxes/
Locate the MBOX-file which contains the messages which are not displayed.
In my case I tried to access mails from "Empfangen" and "Gesendet" so I copied over those two MBOX-files to the desktop.
Now go to mail.app and select import message box
In the following context menu select "import files from Apple Mail" (cuz Apple Mail MBOX-files are not standard MBOX format)
Import the content.
After import drag your messages from the imported folder to the original folder.
done!

Emailing photos for newspaper print - Need 300 dpi

I have read so many different articles on this and am still confused.
I have pictures in iPhoto '09 that, whatever way I export or email them, the Image dpi ends up at 72.
The paper is insisting on 300 dpi. Is it 72 because of how the camera was set and I'm out of luck, or
is there some way of exporting them that I can effect that change to 300?

DPI is Dots Per Inch. Therefore you need inches to knoe DPI
If the photo is to be printed as a 4x6 print then you need a 1200 (4*300) x 1800 (6*300) pixel image
DPI has no meaning within iPhoto. It is a mathematical calculation dividing dots (pixels) by inches

Synching Exchange email Sub-Folders on iphone 3G

There are many posts in this and other forums regarding the inability to synch email located in sub-folders on the iPhone in the Exchange environment. I believe I have found a solution, though I am not an IT expert or even close to it. Here's what I did:
1. On the iphone, tap Settings.
2. Tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Tap on your Exchange mail account (i.e. [email protected]).
4. Set Mail days to Sync to No Limit.
5. Exit Settings
6. In your Outlook, drag and drop all your sub-folders to Inbox. I did this one major sub-folder at a time because I have about 4 GB of email, but perhaps it would work just as well if you did it all at once.
7. Once the sub-folders have been moved to your Inbox in Outlook, wait a couple of minutes and then tap the Mail program on the iphone.
8. Click the circular arrow icon in the bottom left corner of the touch screen. Keep tapping until you see all your sub-folders.
DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK as I have no idea if this causes any problems - it hasn't for me, but then again I know nothing about technology. If anyone has solutions for cutting and pasting or synching notes please let me know.

So one downside to this is mailbox storage limits. Most companies have hard limits on how much you can put in your inbox... that is why people have folders for stuff outside of the inbox.
But the real issue regarding syncing sub-folders is that they don't sync unless you move into them on the iPhone. So if you have rules that move your mail to subfolders (when they are in the inbox), then going into your folders list in the iPhone will NOT show you that sub-folder "contracts" has new email. You have to open the subfolder on the iPhone.
Sent messages works the same way. The iPhone's sent message folder will not contain the stuff you sent from your desktop until you go into the sent messages folder; this starts the sync of that folder.

How did you set up your live.com account in Outlook 2013? Via Exchange ActiveSync, IMAP or POP3?
Please try to logon to your webmail, create a new subfolder under Inbox, then move all message in one problematic subfolder to the newly created one. After that, open Outlook 2013 and click
Send/Receive All Folders button to check the result.
If the you can see the messages in the new subfolder now, then move the messages back to the original subfolder to workaround this issue. You can perform the same steps on other subfolders which have the same problem.

I am lookng for collective Orders where superior order and sub-ordinate ordes can be tagged together and at the sametime, I would like to GR for sub-ordinate Order which trigger Auto GI to superior Order. this feature is not available in collective orders.
why I am looking for GR execution is that GR quantity changes for sub-ordinate order from one order to another order always. it needs to be actual.
any work acound to satisfy this requirement?

I have a doubt that whether this would be a business requirement. Say as per the BoM if there are 3 levels the last level was expected to be produced as 100 UoM but after production run the yield was 98 UoM or 105 UoM then how system will undertsand that it should post the GI of level 3 SFG2 as yield produced from the last Production/ Process order. But at the same time you need to do subsequent adjustment at SFG1 level also.
This is highly dynamic situation thats why when you have multiple level of BoM and at each stage the chances of yield variation is high then its always better to create Production/ Process order of superordinate level of BoM when the lower level are produced, confirmed and available in the stock.

Hi, Apple Mail provides a function to create sub-folders within my mailbox so that I can group emails of similar subjects or from the same sender. My service provider only provides POP email protocol and the New Folder button does not appear in my Apple Mail account for that service provider. Icloud provides the opportunity for the iPad user to select between POP and IMAP. I can select IMAP and the New Folder button appears allowing me to create sub-folders within the icloud email account. Does this mean I cannot create sub-folders in my email account unless my service provider provides customers with the option of creating an IMAP email account?

Yes. That is what it means. You need an IMAP account in order to create sub folders on the iPad.

Export Apple Mail Emails & Sub Folders to Outlook 2011 for Mac

Could somebody please tell me how I go about exporting emails and the subfolders I have created from Apple Mail over to Microsoft Outlook 2011.
Can you also please advise if I am able to add these emails into an existing Main Identity?

I’ve found a way in which you can import Apple Mail into Outlook 2011 on Mac OS X Lion.
The software I’m running is Mac OS X 10.7.2 on a 2011 MacBook Pro.
You need to purchase an app called Emailchemy. It’s 29.99 for an individual license, and 49.99 for a family license. There are enterprise versions available as well.
Once you run the app, you need to do the following:
1. Export all mailboxes from Apple Mail to your desktop (or any other suitable location on your computer). You do this by selecting the mailbox, and then clicking on “Mailbox”, and then “Export Mailbox”. Save the destination, and the file is saved automatically.
2. Then you open Emailchemy and do the following:
- click on “toolbox” in the bottom left hand corner
- click on the second box on the top left hand called “advanced email conversion”
- click on “add file”
- select the folder (s) you just exported from Apple Mail (e.g. Inbox.mbox)
Now here comes the trick
- select format “apple mail 1.0 in the format option at the bottom
- then 3 sub-folders will appear “info-p.list”, “mbox” and “table of contents”
Select “mbox”
- click on “convert” and choose a save file name. Choose the format “MBOX file (standard mbox)”
- click on save
And you then have a folder created which Outlook 2011 recognizes and can import.
I just imported all my Apple Mail into Outlook 2011 – it works really well too – the formatting, attachments, etc are all there!
