Email - Endpoint Error

Hi,
I get this error
Inbox account is used by the other endpoint. Each endpoint must have different Inbox account, if I want to configure another endpoint with the same inbox.
I get this error even when the first endpoint is inactive.
Any ideas why?

I read about the scan to email issue you are having and I will gladly try to help you! I would suggest checking your scan to email settings from the EWS, and perhaps run the scan to email wizard again. You should also see a scan and test option in the setup.
Here is a link to the User Manual, that has quite a bit of great info. Check out page 62 for the scan to email information.

Try to reenter you rmail account details in the iPhoto Preferences > Accounts tab.
Delete the mail account entry by pressing the "-" button below the left column in the panel, then add it again by pressing "+".
Also, it is recommended, to set "Mail" as mail client in the iPhoto preferences, and not iPhoto. This has been working much more reliably lately.

Email endpoints and attachments with localized characters

Hi all,
Just a short description of my process:
People send emails with pdf's that need to be Reader Extended to an email endpoint (gmail), the process is simple it just picks up the attachment of the email and does the Reader Extension.
However the email endpoint only works if the users do not use characters like the danish special characters like æ, ø and å in the file name of the attachment in the mail. When they use these characters in the file name, the attachment is never picked up and thereby never stored in the input variable for the process.
Can anyone help me out here - the restriction in the filenames is not a solution.

Email Application Error ?!?!?!

Help - I have my Pre set up through both Yahoo & Cox email accounts. My Cox email account doesn't seem to be sending emails (receives just fine) and that's where my problem began. I tried to reply to an email and it obviously didn't go through so I received an "Email Application Error" in regards to this email. I've have since deleted the the email from the Outbox and both the Outbox and the Sent folders are empty but... I am still getting the error message and I have no idea how to stop the error message from popping up. Please Help!!

if you are still getting the error delete the email account from the pre, restart the device then add the email account back in if the origional settings do not work try this:
Cox Communications blocks outgoing unsecured IMAP communications that take place using Port 25. To avoid this issue and to ensure secured email, enable SSL on Port 465 and server authentication in your email client.
So set up for incoming is same as home:
mail type: POP
pop.east.cox.net
user name
password
port #110
no encryption
outgoing
smtp.east.cox.net
Use Authentication-OFF
username
password
port # 465
turn on SSL encryption

Getting attachment name from email endpoint

What would be the parameter to get the attachment name from using the Email endpoint ?

Use the Document function in a Set Value as follows
getDocAttribute(/process_data/@inputDocument,'wsfilename')
where @inputDocument is the variable name for the attachment.

Is this a one-off or a general problem? If a one-off, is it a link to a web page or something else? If not a web page, try control-clicking on it and choosing to download the linked file. This will at least access the file though it might be to something you don't have an application to open with. If you do this, what sort of file do you get? - select it and hit command-i to get information on it.

any methods which are able to do that will be welcomed.

Validation Pattern should work. Something like this: text{O'@domain1.com'}|text{O'@domain2.com'}
You can also use regular expression.

The Deskjet series printers connect to wireless networks with what is called USB to Wireless.
You will need a supported operating system to connect a Deskjet to a wireless network. Supported operating systems to connect the printer to a wireless network are Windows 7 (32bit and 64bit), Windows Vista (32bit and 64bit), and Mac OS X (10.5, 10.6, and 10.7).

Cannot access Comcast email account; error 403 is not from Comcast?

Recently, after entering my Name/Password for my Comcast.net email account, Error Msg 403 pops up suggesting wait and try again, and to keep it our little secret ???.
This is not a msg from Comcast, I've just talked to them. I am using verson 3.6.25 on a pre-Intel iMac desktop.
Email can be accessed through Safari with no problem.

Anyway, Safari is one of the strictist browsers when it comes to rendering pages and scripts. I would first try another Mac browser, such as Firefox, to see if it is Safari that is the problem or if it is because there might be some Windows-specific coding involved. Let us know what happens.

Try going into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > select the account > account name , tap on SMTP (under the 'Outgoing Mail Server' heading) and then tap on your Primary Server and try entering your email account and password and see if it then works
