Email error code

Since the update the other day I keep getting error message when trying to sync my emails or when it tries to automatically sync, googled the code n its happening to loads of lumias, any ideas on how to rectify as no joy from Microsoft!

For troubleshoot Windows mail APP, please check the below WIKI article:

For the error code, what is the detailed error messages? How we configured the Internet Connection, using any proxy settings?
Further, if this is related with some Windows update (could you please have a share with the KB number?), we may consider to temporary uninstall that update, or take a system restore.

Work email - error code 403

Wondering if anyone can enlighten me about this error, which apparently is preventing the setup of my work email account. I checked with both work IT and my service provider technical support and no one was capable of resolving the issue. I was previously connected with my Bold. I still have it and maybe i should go back to it. The full statement, after I make the relevant entries with my Z10 account set up function, is as follows: "service for account (my work email address) is not available. Access should be available soon. (Error code: 403)" Any advice would be welcome.

Just had this problem in our environment.
We have a script that disables activesync. Unless you are removed from the restricted AD group "noactivesync"
I removed this user from being a member of the "noactivesync" OU. And normally this should have enabled activesync on the account.
I double checked the mailbox features tab in the EMC and low and behold activesynce was still sitting at "disabled"
I enabled activesync via the EMC and retried setting up the phone.... SUCCESS.

I can receive emails but cannot send as they all go to Outbox and will not go, I jusy get the screen showing the codes Error 554 number 0x800CCC6Fand states something about abuse?

It's definietly not my security settings as I have tempororaily turned them all off and tried to send an email without success

Hello.I use Xfinity.com aka comcast.net Email since Dec 2010 and,I'd like to retain it. Today is Aug 7 2015 and eff: Aug 5th, personal desk top PC with Operating System 7 was up-graded to Microsoft 10 and at no addl charge to me. Visited the microsoft store on Aug 6th because I had absolutely no acces to Xfinity/comcast.net, which holds my address book etc. -- The microsoft store was able to allow access to comcast - great; unfortuantley I ret'd home to learn UNABLE to SEND an email out .... for example, I copied what i wrote and then copied onto the microsoft email screen in order to send out a message. And again this morning, unable to send Xfinity/comcast.net Email -- error code is 1905 Can I retain Xfinity/comcast.net email? Can you fix this so that I can SEND an email out? And by fixing this is there any associated expense to me for this fix? If there is any cost, Please it is important to check 1st with me before fixing - thank you.

Error sending emails to Internet: Failed to connect. Winsock error code: 10051

Our exchange 2013 CU2 (CAS+MBX, Win2012) was sending emails to Internet using another server (a kerio email server) and outbound internet email was working as expected.
We have now removed the Kerio server, I also removed the kerio_Send_Connector I was using to send emails to internet and I also changed the email domain in Exchange to be authoritative. I created a new Internet send connector with default values, but the same
bad behavior is present.
Our Exchange 2013 receives emails internally and externally with no problems. The problems are sending emails to Internet. I am suspecting something in the firewall but i need to do some more research.
If from the same Exchange server I telnet to an Internet email host:25 I do get the smtp banner but as soon as I start typing HELO/EHLO I get disconnected and errors are logged.
Errors when sending emails to any emails address (this is from an email sent to google, all others are the same):
Remote Server at aspmx3.googlemail.com (74.125.136.26) returned '400 4.4.7 Message delayed'
7/1/14 9:52:44 a. m. - Remote Server at aspmx3.googlemail.com (74.125.136.26) returned '441 4.4.1 Error encountered while communicating with primary target IP address: "Failed to connect. Winsock error code: 10051, Win32 error code: 10051." Attempted
failover to alternate host, but that did not succeed. Either there are no alternate hosts, or delivery failed to all alternate hosts. The last endpoint attempted was 74.125.136.26:25'
I cannot find any references from such Winsock error that are related to Exchange 2013.
So far all email is being queued at the Exchange Server 2013. I am afraid to install CU3 and make things worse.

Just check if the receive connector settings are set to fine
check the send connector properties and see whether it is set to use DNS to route emails through external DNS/Internal DNS or smart host .
Do a telnet to external domain like hotmail,yahoo and see at what transaction you are getting an error
Enable verbose logging, restart the transport service and check if you get the same error in the verbose logs as well
Get in touch with the ISP and see if the port 25 for Outbound SMTP is opened.
YOu can check if SMTP Proxy is enabled in the firewall. If so disable the SMTP proxy in the firewall and check.

Why do I get an error code when accessing my email?

Yahoo has updated their bookmarks to be used exclusively with the Yahoo toolbar. In the process I have lost my email account. When I try to access my email, I get an error code...... (The requested URL /mc/welcome was not found on this server.

I actually just worked it out for myself - I reentered all my data and it worked this time. But for one of the books somehow the formatting has all been messed up. Back to the drawing board...:-(

I have the same problem connecting to the Internet that it is. It is more intermittent than permanent though. I have updated the driver from HP site, but no change. From the searches on the web problem seems more widespread though. HP do something! Please!

I do not know how to set up an IMAP account in my shared hosting account with Plesk, which provides POP3/SMTP access to emails.
I am a Microsoft Partner, develop Microsoft based solutions, and genuinely like the Microosft platform. Still, after about 6 months and many hundreds of dollars later, I find myself running out of patience. How long should I be patient for a solution, when Nokia/Microsoft/T-Mobile will not give me a solution or be part of the process.
Microsoft Partner Support, as mentioned, told me this morning in response to a follow-up from yesterday that there is nothing else that they can do and that the situation is out of their hands. If it is out of their hands and they do not want to do anything about it, then what about me?
Should I bite the bullet, return the phone, and sadly jump onto the Samsung Galaxy S4 Android bandwagon? If I do that, I will feel cheated, as I really would like to use Windows. I kind of like the Windows Phone 8 interface. How long should I be patient?
Email is a big issue. I am sure that there are other issues too, just I am not aware of it left.
By the way, I never received an Portino update. The last update was the one that Microsoft gave back in November, which caused the problem in the first place.

I really am thinking that this 80004005 error is a deal breaker, which is so sad.
By the way, Nokia cannot do anything. Microsoft owns the OS and it is up to the carrier, T-Mobile USA in my case, to do something about the problem. Microsoft posts major updates, which causes breaks and annoyances. T-Mobile is resonsible for minor updates and fixes. T-Mobile, as you can tell by visiting t-mobile.com (as of 5/2/2013) is no longer interested in the Windows platform (okay Catwalk announced, but that has the same problem. Catwalk is a Lumia 922 or so, as I understand things). T-Mobile will not post an update. They never have, so why start now?

Uhhhhh... Thank GOD... Got all of my files.
Spent some time on the phone with Apple Care... who was great to deal with but actually... not as helpful as I was hoping. It was suggested that I try DiskWarrior 4 to try to recover the files. $108 later, I had no files.
More calls with Apple Care and they were pretty sure that everything was gone since once the External drive was installed, like a moron, I let TimeMachine go ahead and back up my new MacBook... so it overwrote who knows how many gig that was my entire MacBook.
I wasn't giving up so I called Maxtor, the manufacturer of the external drive itself. They suggested file recovery software from I365... which is also a Seagate company (the makers of the drive). The suggested I simply use their demo because the demo version would find the files. If it found them, I could buy the software to restore them.
It found them! Another $129 after and I was able to restore all of them back to my old PC laptop.
NOW, I just need to figure out how to get the 50gig of HD video files off of my old laptop now and into my Mac and IMovie so I can actually make some DVDs out of them!
I get that Macs and PCs are different formats but I think it is ridiculous that formatting still means basically just wiping out or at least treating massive lots of old data as if it isn't there. There's gotta be a better way to do that.

Error code 80C8042D syncing email on multiple acco...

hi,we have many nokia 625 phones for our works and we are experiencing a number of issues when trying to setup multiple email accounts.
the phone starts to sync and downloads a few days of mails the after a while (a number of hours) the following error occurs error code 80C8042D. all other email syncing on other accounts say syncing but its greyed out and you are not able to delete the setting.
while waiting for the syncing to fail the phone becomes unresponsive. you can text or call. if you reboot the phone none of the apps load.
switching to wireless does nothing either.
Any advice appreciated.
