Email folders now available in Thunderbird. What happens when administrator deletes Yahoo account?

My Yahoo email account from work will be deleted soon by the administrator. Using IMAP I have my inbox and folders in Thunderbird. When the Yahoo account is deleted will I have any access to the messages and attachments via Thunderbird. I read something about it downloading message headers only. Is there any way I can backup my mail folders and attachments in whole so if I need them later I can get them?

Since you're using IMAP, they will in all probability disappear unless you do something about it. If you want to keep them, you need to make copies outside of the Yahoo account.
Thunderbird provides the Local Folders account for just this purpose. Move your messages there before it's too late. Since you're going to be getting much of the material from yahoo's servers, i.e. via your internet connection, try to do this as a large number of small transfers.
I understand "headers only" to be specific to POP-connected accounts.

The timing of a Commit doesn't depend on the size of transaction.

     cost, cardinality, rows, etc...Oracle documentation should help you, just google for that. You should also visit 'asktom.oracle.com' for the topic. I'm going through a book 'Troubleshooting Oracle Performance' written by Christian Antognini and I feel it contains very good explanation on such topics.

  • What happens when we delete task

    Hi.
What happens when we delete task from the request? Does the changes get deleted?

No.. The changes wo'nt get deleted. Instead the TASK will be detached from the Request number. That means it will delete task related entries from the E070, E071... tables.
However when the next time if you save the Object it will ask for a new TASK.
    Cheers,

  • What happens when you delete a linked server?

What actually happens when you deleted a linked server? SSMS says deleting a remote server deletes all remote logins defined for that server..Are you sure you want to delete this linked server and all remote logins defined
    for this server?
How can I see the remote logins for the linked server?
    thanks in advance

So this is the problem with using the UI - you don't really know what is going on under the hood.
You can see your linked servers in sys.servers. You can see mapped logins in sys.linked_logins.
You drop a server with sp_dropserver, and if I remember correctly it also drops the logins.
Nothing is ever touched on the remote data source. it is a purely local operation.

  • What happen when I delete STMS?

    Dear gurus,
When I delete STMS configuration from all system (DEV, QA, PRD), is the stms queue also deleted?
When I reconfigure (change transport domain from DEV to QA), will the queue will be there again?
And what happen in SE01? Will the transport request will still be there in the Development system?
    Thanks for your help.
    Best Regards,

    What if there's this scenario:
    From network perspective:
Network / Port from DEV -> QA = allowed
Network / Port from QA -> PRD = allowed
Network / Port from DEV -> PRD = closed
    Transport Domain is DEV.
    Transport Domain Controller is QA.
When I configure STMS in Production, PRD can't be included in the transport domain.
What's the solution when we want to leave the network configuration remain unchanged?
    Best Regards,

  • What happens when I delete files from my HD

OK, my HD is getting quite full, so at some point I am going to have to take stuff off that I don't need and back them up to DVD or something.
I know that in windows you have to defragment your HD all the time, or it gets messy and starts to run slow.
But Mac OSs work differently, I believe they automatically defrag all content greater than 20 MB, so there is never any need to perform this kind of maintenance.
But what if I start deleting files all over the place, some <20MB, inevitably leaving spaces, how does the system deal with this? It sounds potentially hazardous to do this.
Perhaps someone can explain this to me, suppose I delete a 5MB somewhere in the middle of my HD. Does the system rewrite all the files from that point on, going back 5MB in disk space (if you know what I mean) or does it leave a space, making a note that it is there and waits until a suitable files around the same size comes along and stores it there?

    STU9000,
Also for redoing your system you might look into Archive and Install. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1710
    About Archive and Install
Available in Mac OS X 10.2 and later, an Archive and Install installation automatically moves existing system files to a folder named Previous System, then installs Mac OS X again. (See tip 3.) You cannot start up your computer using a Previous System folder, nor can you "re-bless" the Previous System folder. (See tip 1.)
You can choose to preserve your user and network settings before installing. This option automatically moves existing users, Home directories, and network settings. This also skips the Setup Assistant after installation.
Note: Because the "Preserve user and network settings" option moves, not copies, existing users, Home directories, and network settings, from the Previous Systems folder to the newly installed System, these items will not exist in the Previous Systems folder after the Archive and Install is complete.

You might keep CC as a backup plan to CC 2014. Some extensions and plugins have not yet been updated.

  • What happens when an iPod is synchronized with an iTunes library that is bigger than the available space on the iPod?

What happens when an iPod is synchronized with an iTunes library that is bigger than the available space on the iPod? I did this some time ago. On screen was shown available space somewhat less than 120 GB, but maybe somewhere between 10 and 20 GB more in the library. I had to get the iPod updated anyway, so I did proceed. However, afterwards the total content of the library was only about 110 GB. Now I wonder what did actually happen. Was the first sign only corrected for double copies of the same files or lost files or where files deleted from iTunes? And if files where deleted from iTunes, were they also deleted from my computer?

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one.  Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.

Not if you change the ID.  You would need to give them the new address.

  • What happens when someone forwards photostream invite via email

What happens when someone forwards photostream invite via Email.
I would ultimately like to send directly to parents of my kid's sport team - however the manager says the distro changes alot and it would be best if I send her the invite and she forwards off.
I'm sure there are a mix of IOS and Android users but I'd like the IOS users to benefit from having it in their iPhoto programs, and the others can opt to go to the URL provided in the invite.  Are there any issues with the manager forwarding the Photostream invite?  Any experiences to share when sharing photos taken at a game?
    Thank you in advance.

You will need to create a Public Photo Stream since many of the parents will be on PCs. Here's how:
With that scenario the email will look like this:
The link at the bottom will take the user to the website.  Or you could go to the website yourself, copy its URL and incliude that in an email to the manager for forwarding on.

Our company has CS6 now and don't feel it's in the books to join Creative Cloud at this point. What happens when we have to join 1 year to 1.5" down the road? Will we have to pay a penalty fee or do we just join at the $69.99/seat team price?

MAS ART, There is not penalty fees for not joining Creative Cloud subscription. You are free to join it later. Its just that the membership plans may be different then.

What happens to my current Yahoo email users when I modify the domain ns?

Changing the name servers for a domain would require you to re-create the MX records at the new DNS provider's end to point to your existing email service provider. You might experience downtime during the transition/propagation period.
