Email forwarded to outlook is incomplete

I experience a funny behavior of Mail. At times, when I forward emails to Outlook users, they can not see the forwarded part of the mail. This happens both with my iCloud mail address and with a corporate mail account.
On the other hand, if I send the same email from iCloud.com web page, it works fine.
This is very bad: I use mail for work and over 90% of my contacts use Outlook...
Any clue on how to solve this?
Thanks

Alfred, it looks like any time I send an attachment, outlook users see my mail as all messed up. Only part of the body text is showed as text. All the rest of the message as well as my signature, are showed as separate attachments.
This is really annoying...

  • I am unable to Compose/Reply/Forward any emails on my Outlook

I just installed Mountain Lion udpate 10.8.2, I have office 2011 and I am now unable to Compose/Reply/Forward any emails on my Outlook, nothing happens when I click on these buttons, I have tried restarting the application as well as my notebook several times. Please let me know if there is any way to fix this. Thanks!

You should just be able to drag the two question marks out of the Dock, then run each of the two new programs, which should show their icons in the Dock. (To keep them permanently in the Dock, select Options>Keep in Dock.) Can't do that? Can you say how you've been going about this.

  • Duplicte emails only while outlook is open

    Hello,
I'm new to blackberry and the forums, pardon if this has been answered previously but couldn't find an answer:
I have a BB8900 and get a copy of new emails and the ones I'm reading on my laptop screen ONLY when I'm running Otlook 2007 in the office.
    Here's what I'm using:
my company's email server is an Exchange server
I'm using Blackberry Internet Service provided by my wireless provider (Orange Spain)
    Outlook v.2007
I have NO filters running either in Outlook or in BIS
BB email was set up using the BIS webpage and validated
    BB software version 4.6.1.206
    BB desktop manager v 5.0.0.11
No wired or bluetoth conection with laptop.
I get to see a message in the BB whenever i get to read or open an emial message, so after some time I have 37 "new" emails in my BB which I must delete manually.
Any help will be greatly apreciated.
    H.

    Found the solution elsewhere...
    http://forums.crackberry.com/f61/duplicate-emails-only-when-outlook-open-75419/
Find an email - go to top of email, hold down ALT and type in VIEW You should see a UID#.
Do the same thing on the duplicate email - you will see that the UID is different! That's why you're getting 2 emails. The UID should not change.
So there are a couple solutions:
    1. Get your IT guys need to make UID validity to remain static. That means the UID should not change...
    OR
    2. You could have set up a forwarding rule on the server to a BB.net address to avoid the issue all together. Apparently a blackberry.net address can pose as your email address and no one would know the difference. This is kind of a band-aid.
    OR
    3. Do what I did... Instead of setting up your account as a POP or IMAP account, set it up as an Outlook Webmail Service.... for some reason that fixes the problem too. I needed to get the specific user info and webmail URL from my Exchange Hosting Company.
    Hope this helps.
I have to say, I was really impressed with Verizon's AND RIM's support. Although it took a long time, they were VERY helpful and never tried to get me off the phone. They made 3 way calls to include my 3rd party exchange host, called me back after my battery died on my phone, emailed me some good info, gave me their contact info, etc.... It was the best Tech support experience I've had.
    Thanks to WildCoyote!

  • Lack of email sync with Outlook may result in returned BB Classic

Our company president (who is responsible for 15 companies worldwide) recently got a BB Classic and we were extremely disappointed to find a lack of either an "auto-bcc on send" option or a way to sync her email in the hub to Outlook 2013.
I was led by tech support to believe that Blend would do this, but all it does is provide a mirror of the hub on the PC.  This is all well and good if the user wishes to remain only inside the BB ecosystem.  Unfortunately, a lot of businesses center their email ecosystem around Outlook, and those in management want to have their sent messages available to them in both places.
Why has RIM seemingly dropped such functionality from BB10 when iPhones and Androids have these functions right out of the box?  This seems like a blunder of epic proportions given that RIM was on the verge of irrelevance not so long ago.  Taking away features that business people rely upon is no way to win back would-be converts to other platforms.
And with RIM not allowing third-party email solutions on Blackberry World, there's no option to replace BB Mail with something that adds those features missing from BB Mail. I realize this is because of a focus on high security email, but if the user isn't utilizing that function why force the user to use an email client that doesn't meet their needs?
Taking features away from users is a good way to ensure users go elsewhere and don't return.  And with RIM's situation in the market lately, this doesn't bode well for the "comeback" they're hoping for.
I know this is mostly a user-supported forum, but I'm hoping someone at RIM will see this and perhaps take heed of it.

Active Sync exists for such a reason. I don't understand why people think they need to connect their phones physically to make the synchronizations. Most premium mail servers support active sync. Set it up on the phone and it will sync all data automaticaly. Also this auto BCC I never understood why people cry so much about it. I have set in my office an Axigen mail server and use my phone via IMAP. I see all folders and emails in realtime push. When I send an email from my BlackBerry without even BCC I see it on my pc under the send folder and viceversa. I think people are used doing things the long way around and can't accept that things can be done easier today!
Good luck with your new endeavour me totally loving the Classic.

  • How can I delete all my email from my outlook account without deleting the account?

I am trying to delete the many emails from my outlook account which I can bring up on my ipad mini.  I want to keep the outlook email on the ipad.  So far all I have been able to do is bring up the email list, touch edit, then touch each email then move to trash.  I have a lot of email and would like to delete them all at once.  Thanks for any assistance!

    The Apple instructions state:
    Edit a mailbox.
While viewing a list of messages, tap Edit. Select certain messages or tap Mark All, then:
Tap Mark to Flag, Mark as Read or Move to Junk
Tap Move to move selected messages into a mailbox
Tap Trash to move them to the trash
If you make a mistake, shake iPhone immediately to undo.
Unfortunately, the MOVE and the Trash buttons never activate ... is there a fix for this or is this an oversight?

  • How do I set the "reply to" field in the iPad 2 Mail app?  I use an email forwarding service (not an actual email account) that I would like people to reply to.

How do I set the "reply to" field in the iPad 2 Mail app?  I use an email forwarding service (not an actual email account) that I would like people to reply to, so setting up an account with the correct reply-to address doesn't work because there's no associated outgoing mail server.  I had this working under iOS4 but it seems to have disappeared when I upgraded to iOS5.

Welcome to the forum, NicoleYM. I don't think the Touch Mail has as many options as the Mac Mail app. However, you could set a standard signature. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Signature. There you can type a reply address and hope people see it.
Alternatively, you can go to your GMail account in your web browser and click on Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP. There you will have an option to forward all emails (or only some, if you set up a filter) to your other address.
    Good luck!

  • I run a gmail email address through Outlook 2013.  How can I synch Contacts to my iPhone 4?  iTunes doesn't do it.  Verizon doesn't know how.

    Greetings Experts
I run an email address through Outlook 2013 on my PC.  I want to synch my Outlook Contacts and Calendar to my iPhone 4 but iTunes isn't doing it and 3 Verizon stores have failed.  Advice?  Suggestions?   Solutions?
    Thanks
    JohnnieBGood

Hi randers4.   Already have.  I have two (2) gmail addresses - only one of which I run through Outlook.  Both are set up in GMail  on the iPhone under Settings but Contacts and Calendars are only set up to synch on the account that goes thru Outlook.  My email from both merge OK on the iPhone but Contacts and Calendars from Outlook doesn't come over and its the only one i have the Settings turned on for Contacts,Calendars and Notes.

  • How can I set up a "receive only" email account in Outlook 2010

I have an Outlook 2010 email account that receives emails from a "Fax-to email" service, and I'd like to make that accout "Receive Only".  Is it possible to do that, and if so, how.
    Capt. Dinosaur

    Hi
As per the information and details provided by you, to set up a
“Receive Only”email account in Outlook 2010, please follow these steps: -
You have a few options available to you. You can set up the account with
a fake SMTP server name and configure the Send/Receive group to not send mail from this account, or you can use a different, valid account for the Outgoing server, just in case you accidentally use the wrong account when you compose a message.
First, create the account in Outlook: -
Fill the name and address fields with the desired information. Select
POP3 account type and enter the incoming server name.
In the Outgoing server field, type
    nomail.
Enter the correct username and password for the incoming mail account.
If you want to verify the incoming server is correctly configured, click on
Test Account Settings, and then choose the dialog after the incoming server is verified.
    Deselect the option to
Automatically test account settings when the Next is clicked.
    Click on the
    Finish to return to Outlook.
Because Outlook will error on every manual send and receive when it can not find the outgoing server error, you need to change the
Send and Receive Settings for this account.
    Press
Ctrl+Alt+A to open the Send/Receive Settings dialog. (or you can go to
Send/Receive tab, Send/Receive Groups and select Define Send/Receive Groups.
    Click the
    Edit button.
Select the receive-only account, then deselect
    Send Mail Items.
    Click on the
OK, then Close to return to Outlook.
I hope this information will be helpful for you.
    Thanks and regards

  • How do I add a Linkedin button to my email signature in Outlook 2011?

    Hi,
I'm trying to add a Linkedin button to my emails, or an image of a linkedin button hyperlinked to my profile, but not having much luck. I'm using a Macbook Pro with Lion and my email client is Outlook 2011.
Does anyone have any idea how to do this?
    Cheers,
    Alex

I would like to know how to do this as well. All I'm able to do is add the link, but not the button. My colleague has done this on his Outlook on his HP. I'm not sure why this is so difficult!

  • No email received via Outlook 2007 or Live Webmail 2012 since 11/14

I have 2 Windows 8 machines running Outlook 2007 and Live Mail 2012 Email clients setup and working fine for the last two months to the latest verizon email servers with SSL turned on send and receive, SPA off.  11/15 just started getting error that the email server does not support the connection encryption type you have specified.  Try changing the encryption method.  Contact your mail server administrator or Internet service Provider.
I spent over an hour on telephone support not to mention couple hours looking through support info with no success.  Nicole came on my computer and tried to configure reconfigure my email account in Outlook 2007  so I could download my new email with no success.  She claims conveniently that the problem is with Outlook 2007.  I guess that means the problem is with Live mail 2012 as well.  I can receive my email on my iphone with the settings unchanged from before the problem presented itself and I can access webmail no problem from the win8 machines.
Any hints from folks who have encountered this problem and fixed it would be greatly appreciated.  Of course Outlook 2007 is no longer actively supported so I can't contact anybody at Microsoft.
I think Verizon made a change to the email server using a newer encryption method or something?  But can not resolve the issue from my end.

Are you on a Verizon network, as some have had problems that require they whitelist there IP address when connecting through other networks.  ESP. Foreign ISP's.
Both outlook 2007 and live mail 2012 (not webmail) work for me.  Double check your settings and if necessary post all your non-confidential settings so your peers here can make suggestions.

  • How do I set up my iPad so that I can recieve the emails from my Outlook Express account

How do I set up my iPad so that I can recieve the emails from my Outlook Express account

Your iPad doesn't receive email from Outlook Express (or any other email client).  It receives email from your email provider.  To set up your email account on your iPad go to Settings>Mail,Contacts,Calendars...tap Add Account and add your email provider's account settings with your username and password.  iCloud, Gmail, Yahoo, AOL and Hotmail email settings are automatically entered by tapping the appropriate button.  Others must be manually entered by tapping Other.  (Exchange accounts will also require you to enter your email provider's settings.)
