Email forwarding

Whenever I send a message from gmail on my computer, it sends a copy of the sent mail to my BB.  I've disabled mail forwarding in gmail settings and it still sends sent messages to my BB.  How do I fix this?

How do I set the "reply to" field in the iPad 2 Mail app?  I use an email forwarding service (not an actual email account) that I would like people to reply to, so setting up an account with the correct reply-to address doesn't work because there's no associated outgoing mail server.  I had this working under iOS4 but it seems to have disappeared when I upgraded to iOS5.

Welcome to the forum, NicoleYM. I don't think the Touch Mail has as many options as the Mac Mail app. However, you could set a standard signature. Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Signature. There you can type a reply address and hope people see it.
Alternatively, you can go to your GMail account in your web browser and click on Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP. There you will have an option to forward all emails (or only some, if you set up a filter) to your other address.
    Good luck!

  • Email Forwarding with GMail

    Hi folks,
I have my own email address, lets say called "[email protected]" and use email forwarding via a Gmail account, called "[email protected]", but when my email is returned, it says from "Me" <[email protected]>, which is annoying, is there anyway to get it to say "Me" <[email protected]> instead of the gmail address??
I have moved away from Entourage and am now using Apples Mail application.
    Many thanks in advance.

you can try. but I haven't found a way to fool gmail myself.

  • Hey apple, why don't you just fix your email forwarding?

There is a lot of problems described in this comunity about icloud email forwarding.
Personally I, spent a lot of time to make this fa***g email forwarding work. But it doesn't work.
I started yesterday, but only today morning I got an email from apple that it is enabled. But it doesn't work.
If it is not work properly - just disable it and people won't spend a lot time wondering it is work or not.
Also, I have tried to setup google POP3 "Check mail from other accounts" , but icloud mail doesn't support POP3 protocol.
So, apple, why don't you just fix your email forwarding? or disable it forever?

  • PowerShell Script to Create a Contact Card and Enable Email Forwarding

    Exchange 2010
Can anyone help with creating a powershell script to create a contact card and set email forwarding at the sametime?
I'm looking to import a list of 200 users via a text or csv file, create the contact card with first name, middle initial if one exists, last name, (no alias) and put the contact card in the following OU "DIS###" in the a.b.c.com domain as well
    as enable forwarding to @mail.com.
I've been able to create a script to enable mail forwarding but it doesn't help me without a contact card.  I hate to put this upon anyone, but my ps scripting and Exchange knowledge is still in it's infant stage and I need get this done post haste

Q:Import csv: Does this contain 200 mailboxes name
A:It contains 200 user logon names.
    For the mail forwarding:
I currently have a csv file with two columns -- one named displayname and the next call mailaddress.  Under the displayname column I have the users account name (first.mi.last -- middle initial if they have one) and under mailaddress i have @mail.com.
    script:
    Import-CSV C:\setmailforwarding\mailforwarding.csv | foreach-Object{Get-Mailbox $_.displayname | set-Mailbox -forwardingAddress $_.mailaddress}
The above script should work if the contact card has been created.  Obviously I need to create the card first.
I don't have a script to set up the contact card as of yet -- I was hoping to get some help on that.
Q:E-mail forwarding: Is this  from  mailboxes to mail contact, you will be creating
A:Not really sure what you are asking.  I'm looking to create the contact card with a csv or txt file for first name, middle initial if one exists, last name, (no alias) and put the contact card in the following OU "DIS###" in the a.b.c.com domain as
well as enable forwarding to @mail.com.  The users current email is @mail.1234.com and we will be migrating our mailboxes to another organization that uses @mail.com.  I will need to set forwarding in the interim until the migration is complete.
    Hope this helps.

  • EMAIL forwarding details.

Hi. how can we get detail about from which date/time email forwarding is enabled for a user in exchange 2007 server.

Thank you, appreciate your quick response. If you find anything related to this at any point of time, kindly update me. As its very imp issue to me. :)
Not in Exchange 2007. Exchange 2010 has Admin Audit Log that keeps the track of anything changed in last 90 days by default when Exchange is installed...

  • Any email forwarded to me that I try to forward from my iPad or iPhone the people are unable to read if the same one I forward from my hp compatable they can read?

I am able to forward emails forwarded to me on my hp  but if I forward them from my iPhone or iPad the people I send them to are unable to read them

Certainly there has not been any noticeable increase on the forums of people reporting problems with Verizon.net email. I think the Verizon tech may have been passing the buck.

  • Setting up iPad Mail so messages appear to come from an email forwarder address

I currently have my iPad set up to send and receive email from my btinternet.com email address and this works fine. I also have an email forwarder directed to the btinternet address and I would like to set up my iPad so that emails appear to come from the forwarder rather than from the btinternet address. I guess I need to set up a separate account but despite trying several times so far, I have been unsuccessful. Can anyone advise?

Yes, with iOS 6 your iPad can use your iPhone phone number to send and receive messages.  Your iPad must be using the same Apple ID for iMessage in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive as your iPhone.  If it is, and you don't see the number listed, first confirm that your phone number appears on your iPhone in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive.  If it does, then on your iPad try going to this setting, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in.
To have your messages addressed as being sent from your phone number, select your phone number on both devices in Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, under "Start new conversations from".

  • I have a Domain name with email forwarding to my Service Provider which worked very well when I had a PC. Now I have iMac and have changed to IMAP from POP3 so I can sync. between iMac and iPad but how?

I have a Domain name with email forwarding to my Service Provider which worked very well when I had a PC. Now that I have iMac I have changed the account type to IMAP from POP3 so I can sync. between iMac and iPad but how?
I do receive emails into my iMac for which I have 3 email accounts but am struggling on how synchronise between iMac and iPad so that both are up to date at all times.  I have also set up a iCloud email account thinking this was the way to go but have drawn a blank.
Any help would be very much appreciated.

    Linc Davis,
I have set up my email address both within my iMac and my ISP as IMAP accounts and I receive all emails without problem on my iMac. I have also set up an iCloud email address using my iMac.
I have enabled the email within "setting" on my iPad and have used the iCloud account.  I have sent emails from the iMac to iPad using the iCloud account address and vice versa.  I have also sent emails from the iPad to the iMac using my non-iCloud email address and they have gotten through.
The one thing I would like to have is for the iPad "mail" mailboxes to mimic the iMac "mail" mailboxes and both to be "in sync".  I am not really interested in using the iCloud email address for my email but would really like to use my "normal" addresses as these are what most people know me by.
Do I need to set additional accounts within the iPad which are the same as the email accounts I have within the iMac and my ISP?  I have reached the end of my knowledge as regards email synchronsing.
    Thanks

  • Email forwarding from my own domain to my verizon email account is taking a long time...

Email forwarding from my own domain to my verizon email account is taking a long time.
I have email addresses registered at moniker.com.  When I send an email to an email address that is forwarding to my verizon email, it takes a long time to arrive.

Hmmm ... none of the header is showing this hitting the Verizon edge anywhere along the line.   At some point the header has to show the mail transiting vztpa.verizon.com or vzsac.verizon.com which are intake servers for messages headed for Verizon.   What I'm see in the header so far is that it took about 4-6 seconds (depending on what clocks you believe) to make from one end of the connection to the other.
You got this out of your Verizon mailbox?

  • Email Forwarding on an on-prem mailbox to Office 365 mailbox

    Hi All,
I need to put forwarding in place on a user's mailbox which is now on our on-prem Exchange 2013 server (we have hybrid deployment). I need to deliver to mailbox and forward to another user's mailbox of which is in Office 365. (The user has left and we move
mailboxes back to our on-prem Exchange when users leave).
I used to be able to do this when we had Exchange 2010 on prem via EMC, but don't seem to be able to do this via EAC on Exchange 2013. If I go to mailbox features on the mailbox I want to put the forwarding on, and then mail flow, and then browse to select
the receipient - it doesn't show me recipients in Office 365.
Any help on how to correctly put forwarding on an on-prem mailbox to a mailbox in Office 365, would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Hi
Just use the management shell as described here Configure
    email forwarding for a mailbox
Set-Mailbox -Identity "OnPrem mailbox" -ForwardingSMTPAddress "Office 365 mailbox"
That works for forwardings from onprem to Office 365
    Hope that helps.

  • Email Forwarding Tool is missing

I'm trying to avoid all the issues with the verizon.net email client by forwarding messages to another account.  But, the link to the email forwarding tool is broken.  Does anyone know how to get to it?
I submitted an email to the Verizon web folks, and they said I would need to contact phone support.  The phone support person informed me that the only way to get forwarding enabled was by using the tool, but they had not realized that the link was broken and had no idea when or if it might be fixed.
Any ideas?  I'm already using a couple of pop3 clients when I can't get to verizon, but would really rather have a central place on the web (that I can depend on working correctly) to manage my emails.

    Kim,
Thanks for your reply.  Yesterday, the 'Account Tools' area started working for me so I was able to get Email Forwarding to work.
However there's still a link in the Support area that is broken and I'm not sure how to report that (I don't need it fixed anymore, but others might want it).  When you navigate from the top right through Support -> Internet -> High Speed Internet, click on the 'Email' category, then expand Email Tools and select 'How do I forward to another address', it will bring you to the page below.  Clicking on 'Use the Email Forwarding Tool Now' results in a Page Not Found.

  • Creating Email Forward Rule

    Hi All
Another question I have about the email service concerns on how to create email forwarding rules. There is no such reference on the documentation (at least not that I could see). I also couldn't find anything related to mail forwarding on Beekeeper. So I would really appreciate if you could help me with this question.
    Thank You!

    Hi Richard,
This is a simple task to perform on OCS. I though that would be also easy to perform on Beehive. What I want to achieve is simply change a user's forward rule, just it.
    Thank You!

Hi, I'm trying to set up email forwarding on my bigpond email. The email forwarding link in the my settings tab just redirects to My Services bigpond? Thanks

I've taken a few screenshots. Below is the broken link and where it heads to. It does not set up email forwarding at all, instead heads to the "my services" homepage.
