Email (Gmail) query

My gmail account wasn't working today on my iphone 4 so deleted it and set it up again. In order to sync with my 'PC' Gmail I set it up as an exchange account as per the instructions from google. Everything is working fine, but in my mailboxes the account is now listed as "exchange" rather than "gmail". Why is this and how do I get it to show as Gmail? For info purposes my hotmail account is still listed as hotmail.

Go to Settings>Mail, Contacts...> and choose the arrow to the right of the Exchange (GMail) account. Then tap Account. Go to description and change to whatever you would like.

Mail 2.x doesn’t store mail in standard mbox format. The only way you might find Mail messages in a “recovered” mbox file is if it was a Mail 1.x file that Mail 2.x left there after the conversion to the new *.emlx format when you upgraded from Mac OS X 10.3 or earlier to Mac OS X 10.4.
If you’re running Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger) and don’t have a backup, what you should have tried to recover are as many *.emlx files as possible. Data Rescue II may be able to do that, but the documentation doesn’t say so. The only data recovery utility that I know for sure can currently recover deleted *.emlx files is FileSalvage.
That said, you may still try to import those mbox files as Other (not as Mail for Mac OS X), and hope that they don’t contain garbage that causes Mail to crash — you may look at their contents with a text editor first to check whether there are actually any emails there.
Beware, however, that anything you do with the computer may cause the deleted *.emlx files to be overwritten if you don’t try to recover them first.

Email SQL query results from powershell

I currently have a script that I run every half hour which runs an sql query, and takes the results, and emails them to a group of users. The script states how many faxes are in a faxmaker queue. Now, the powers that be would like to add additional
information, and I wanted to know how to include the additional information in my query. So, here is the script that is working. I've changed some information to protect the innocent.

Hello Members, my phone is 5800 and i have a Hotmail, Googlemail and an AOL email account, i find i need to access them as i still get inportant emails.
I understand there are email clients for my phone ie Nokia messaging, OVI, but i don't really want an application running on my phone that allows anyone to enter my inbox, should the phone get lost, or i forget it at someone house, say.
So my prefered access to my email accounts would be to go directly through there websites, but i was wondering if there exists an app that can sit on the desktop of the phone that when i click say an icon within it for Google mail all that would open is a Google mail login screen, and then my inbox appears.
I understand this sound a bit like having 'Favourites' link in Internet Explorer but more direct to the point of getting to the login of the website.
Do any members have any ideas?

Hi,
There is no such option in the handset, where in you can open the mail using the Web. But you can install Gmail appliaction in the handset. But for AOL & Hotmail, you need to check if they have developed application for Symbian platform.

I am also having this issue; although it is on my iPhone 5S.
I first tried to click the button through the Gmail app on my iPhone; no response.
I then forwarded the email to my @me.com address which is attached to the native mail app; no joy there either.
I am now going to see if I can get the email sent directly to the latter address and see how that goes.

Sending Email with Query Result (Table Format)

I have a query result from ExecuteSQL task e.g.:

I want to send an email with the above query result and I want it to be in Table format (such as in Microsoft Word with rows and column lines) to allow better readability to the receiver.
Is it possible in SSIS?

Spam email (gmail) disappeared as I clicked on it

So first off, I know, don't click on spam.
I'm using Acompli on my iPhone 6. I saw a spam message (gmail account) and I click on it to then move it to the spam folder. Only when I clicked on it, it simply disappeared. It's not in spam, it's not in my All Mail tab, it just vanished.
Anyone have any thoughts? Did it launch some flaky trojan? Should I wipe my phone?

I agree with Nik that this question is best answered by Acompli, but it is possible that the app had not yet finished syncing your emails. Those emails flagged as possible spam are typically moved automatically to trash or spam folders and in some cases, if they contain an identified virus, are deleted by the email provider. It could be that email fell into that third category, had not yet been reflected in your app, and was simply coincidence that it was moved or deleted as you were tapping it.
Just a thought.

Emailing Adhoc Query Output

Dear Friends,
I have a requirement in which HR managers needs to be delivered some reports in his mail early morning. The query to extract the required data is already developed and this can be scheduled early morning to retrive the data. Is there any way to mail him the output directly from the scheduled job without going for any extra ABAP development.

In the schedule job, there's a button 'Spool List Recipient'. This allows the spool output of the job to be sent to someone (either SAP inbox or external email address) once the background job is run.

Email Infoset Query Result

Is anyone aware of a way to email the results of a infoset query run on R/3 . Would like to schedule the query to run then have it emailed out automatically.

You can try this..Write a custom Program that runs the query using SUBMIT <query> to SAP-SPOOL and RETURN. Retrieve the spool using the function module 'RSPO_RETURN_SPOOLJOB' & email it using another function 'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1'.

I have a MacBook Pro and iphone sync'd, my email boxes are fine on the iphone and controlable. then I have a set up as Photobox50 Gmail which holds all my Gmail from any of my three email addresses. I want to delete from this Gmail - All Mail permanently. Having tried several options that have not worked so far.

If your devices are connected to your router then they should not have fixed ip addresses assigned by your ISP or by you. They should be set to get their addresses via dhcp from your router. If they have fixed ip addresses this is why they don't show up in the router's dhcp list, the router did not assign them dhcp addresses.

Email access query from powershell

I am trying to utilise the DoCmd.SendObject command, from powershell... I have the script launch the required database but I cannot get it to export the query information into Xl format and email it...
This ran the macro that I had produced in Access but I was then required to manually click on an Outlook warning box so it has not resolved the issues.
I just need to get this query data out of access either to save it locally and then send it via email or send it automatically...
Does anyone have any experience of this?

Method, please also note I haven't tested
