It is only for this email address other sub accounts are fine and it is not limited to one computer as if I log on on my sons laptop the same header appears but my sons emails do not have the problem. Any suggestions what to do to remove this tried a variety of anti virus and malware options none find anything wrong. thanks in hope

Hi.
Are you using webmail, or a mail client program such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Windows Mail ?
It seems like you may be using webmail, in which case within webmail :-
Options/Mail (or More) Options/Accounts. Click on the BTYahoo! account item or if already showing look at the "From Name".
You can alter this to suit.
However, even with "Honda Award" appearing, it should not necessarily cause emails to be spam.
If you have never set this item like this, then it could be that your account has been hacked. Also go to POP & Forwarding to make sure nothing is set in the forwarding area. If it is, then make a note of the email address and then you can inform the abuse desk of the actual mail address hosts.

  • Email $header problem - need help

I have designed a mail processing script to send POST data
captured by a form to an email address specified by $to. It has a
subject line ($subject). Now I want to add a ‘from’
line which is to contain the email address submitted as one of the
POST form fields (volunteerEmailaddress). This is all done in PHP.
I took a crack at it (see below). The $to line and the
$subject lines work just fine. The $header displays fine in the
email but only the first piece (From: Volunteer Applicant), not the
    second piece (volunteerEmailaddress).
Can anyone see what I have coded incorrectly and suggest the
    correct code to do this?
    Thanks!
    Carver
    //mail processing script
$to = '[email protected]';// use your own email address
    $subject = 'Volunteer Application';
    // create additional headers
    $headers = 'From: Volunteer Applicant';
    if (!empty($email)) {
    $headers .= '\r\nReply-To: $volunteerEmailaddress';

That should be fine. A lot of people just pick up scripts
    from outdated
books or websites. So I wanted to make sure you were aware of
    the
potential danger. You obviously are. ;-)

Thanks for the feedback. I promise, the agony does eventually
    turn into
pleasure - at least it does for most people.

  • Maverick Mail Printing Problem: prints email header on separate page from body of email.  Why?!

Maverick Mail Printing Problem: prints email header on separate page from body of email.  Why?!

For what it's worth, I can report exactly the same problem.  I just recently converted from Outlook for Mac 2011 to Mail.  I did the conversion while running Yosemite.  I like pretty much everything about Mail EXCEPT that it take 2 pages to print a 1 page email!!  The header appears on the top of p.1, followed by a blank space.  The message begins at the top of p.2.
If you scale it down, you can get the message to begin to appear on the bottom of p.1, but clearly, Mail is inserting BIG SPACE between the header and the message.  Changing the display fonts for Mail had no apparent effect (except that the font DID change, of course)....still a BIG SPACE between the header and the message.
Coming to Mail for the first time, I would have assumed that this was just a quirk of Mail, but am I understanding that some of you Mail users out there USED TO NOT have this problem??  I think it's pretty clear that it's Mail that's causing the problem, not the message, because I went over to my old Outlook and printed the same couple of messages with no such space between the header and the message.  So Mail is inserting a space into the print formatted email message that is NOT there in Outlook's print formatted same message.
Be really nice to get rid of this problem, but my Apple Care free support has expired.  Not sure I want to pay for something that's generic to Mail!!  Anyone else made any progress on this?

  • Removal of picture in email header

My problem is that emails sent from my iMac (or the Macbook that I also have, also running 10.5.3) are received on PC with an attachment with the suffix .att.
I believe this is the dragonfly picture that appears in my AddressBook entry and also in the headers of my emails. The dragonfly appears on my email header when it's received on another Mac, but it does not appear as a picture when received by a PC.
    I cannot remove it.
I have tried editing the AddressBook entry but cannot delete it from there, either. I can change it to a different picture, but I can't get rid of it entirely.
I have seen it suggested that I could create a blank .jpg file and put that into my AddressBook entry instead of the dragonfly. However it would still be a file, and show up in a PC as an inexplicable attachment.
Can I simply be an administrator with no picture at all?

I'm using 10.5.3 and the account photo is included on all of my outgoing emails. I'm trying to get it removed as well. There doesn't seem to be an option for that. Your idea for selecting a jpg that you've photoshopped to have just a white background may be the ticket.
To change out a picture, go to System Prefs, select Accounts, make sure the Password tab is active. Click on the actual photo shown (which is the one on all your emails) and other options appear. Click edit picture and you'll get the opportunity to change it out. But not remove it, as far as I've been able to tell. Browse for your white jpg and choose it.
Good luck! It's disruptive having a cutesy photo—or any photo at all—at the top of all my biz emails!

  • Prime Infrastructure 2.0 email charset problem

    Dear all,
I have question regarding Guest portal managed through PI. Everything is set, but only one thing doesn't work as I expected.
When I make an account and print it, everything looks fine. When I sent it via email, then enconding of mail is wrong.
Problem is, that PI gives Charset : ANSI_X3.4-1968 (can see in email header).
I would like to have ther (in email) : CP1252 (or UTF) - basically something what can interpret national characters.
I have found this about similar problem, but absolutely have no idea where set it up.

Does anyone has solution for this?
    Thank you

I see now, this is a poor carry over from NCS. The option that says include "controller" in email does provide the switch hostname. Hopefully by version 3.0 they will have all the wireless naming fixed when it applies to converged.

  • IP-address in email header

    Hi,
does anybody know how to get the ip-addresses in an email header?
Yes, I know there is a method called getfrom(), but there, you only get the senders email address. My problem is to get the ip-address from the mail server the email was send from.
thank you very much for replying

Maybe i have to be a little bit precise,
the aim is to extract the first ip-address, that is in the header - this is for identify the location the email is coming from.
my idea was to parse the complete message with a regular expression in order to find the first appearance of an ip-address. Maybe somebody has another idea, is there a possibility to only write the email-header to a string? This would be more efficient...
    Thanks...

  • Outlook 2013 Email Header Being Cut Off

Outlook 2013 is cutting off the email header on multiple emails.  See screenshot below.

    Hi,
First, we can try to start Outlook with /cleanviews command to check if this issue is caused by corrupted view. To do this, exit Outlook, press Windows key + R, type
outlook.exe /cleanviews in the Run dialog and press Enter.
In addition, please go to Control Panel > Clock, Language and Region
    > Region > Click on Administrative tab and check which language for non-Unicode programs did you set. Please change it to default English to check if it helps.
If problem persists, we can try to create a new mail profile and set up your email account in the new profile to check the result. See:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/829918/en-us
Please let me know the result.

  • X-Rcpt-To in the Email Header

    Hi,
A customer is requesting us to insert "x-rcpt-to" command in the email header to help in their email deliveries.
How can we enable this feature and what are the pros and cons?
Looking forward to your usual assistance.
    Best Regards,
    Ruveni

Um, wow. That's an odd request. They're asking you to put in the header exactly what you're already putting on the envelope. Why can't they just get it from the envelope?
A filter whose action is this:
    Insert-header("X-rcpt-to", $EnvelopeRecipients)
should do the trick. It'll put all recipients on a single header, not multiple headers with one recipient each. I don't think you can do that.
EDIT: I should point out that messages with very large recipient lists can cause problems with this idea. There is a limit to the size of the headers in a single message, and a really long recipient list could exceed this limit. I don't know what the result would be, but it could result in the message being dropped.

You don't need to start a new thread to continue a conversation, you can just tack onto the original one. The settings I referred you to are for the Blackberry, since that's the device which is not receiving mail: anything which is working can be left alone.

  • Setting Message-ID email header from Oracle B2B backend in 11g

    Hi,
Is it possible to set the Message-ID from the backend application via JMS header? Is there a JMS header exposed to set this message id in case of email transport? Will the email server able to honor this value that we set and send to Oracle B2B in 11g and send it as the email header (Message-ID)? Is this possible?
The idea here is if my backend application can set this Message-ID value of the request message, then the response message which would be a reply to the initial message will have the value of the Message-ID in the property in-reply-to. Now if this in-reply-to is also exposed an a JMS header to the backend application, then i will be able to co-relate the request and the response messages.
Please let me know at the earliest if this would be possible.
    Regards
    Kavitha

    Kavitha,
Is it possible to set the Message-ID from the backend application via JMS header? Yes, please set the MSG_ID header (jca.jms.JMSProperty.MSG_ID). It will be used as Message-ID in Wire Message.
, then i will be able to co-relate the request and the response messages.Generic Mail does not support correlation as of now. You may consider logging an enhancement request with support. If you are exchanging XML messages then you may consider using content based correlation at B2B.

  • Any way to keep faxing/scanning after "Print-head problem"??

We've got a "Print-head has problem" message.  Ordered new print-head (before seeing another poster's message saying "I did that twice and it didn't help!) but it won't arrive for several days. Meanwhile we'd love to still be able to use this alleged "all in one" to scan and fax.
Problem is, there doesn't seem to be a way to escape from the "print-head problem" message--none of the "cancel" or fax buttons will work.  Cycling the power just recovers the same message again, and otherwise locked up.
I'm hoping some old hand at HP may actually read this and know the magic fix.
So the question:  Is there any way to keep using the 7780's fax and/or scan functions after getting a "print-head has problem" message?
BTW, we've had several problems with the 7780 in the 3 years we've had it.  Had to send one back, and the auto-feeder has been hit-and-miss.  But we've been able to work thru the problems with HP support--though certainly at a high cost in our time.  Then with the problems getting a new Windoze-7 computer to work with it (certainly not entirely HP's fault but your customers could have used some better planning for the thing), we're starting to look at other manufacturers.
If any HP managers or execs ever read these boards, you might keep in mind that a reputation, once lost, is extremely hard to recover.
In any event, any help greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

Hey Kappy, While my network is the only one in my preferred list, it's not the only one that the airport "sees". When I click on the wireless signal strength icon in the upper right part of the menu, when connected to my network, it says at the top of the pop up list "Airport: Scanning". It then lists about 10 wireless networks that are in range.
What I want it to do is stop "scanning" for other networks and simply lock on to my network once connection has been established. Is there a way to do this do you know? Thanks, Dan

  • What information in email header identifies an email as a voicemail?

I have 2, 5.X Unity systems. Neither one is aware of the other.  One Unity is working with unified messaging, the other on a separate network in a separate domain uses Internet subscribers that will forward voice messages to the .  When an outside caller calls, leaves a voice message and reaches an internet subscriber the voice message is sent to the outlook mailbox of a user on the other Unity system.  When that voicemail arrives in outlook mailbox from the internet subscriber it lights the lite on the users phone.
When the email with the voicemail attached arrives from a different Unity what information in the email header tells the exchange monitor to send a MWI activation message to the Notifier queue?
    Thanks
    Jeff

It's not anything in the header that identifies it. When the notifier service goes through the mailbox when Unity gets a MAPI update that a new item has arrived in a subscriber mailbox, it looks for a value called IPM.Note.Voice.Unity that identifies it as voicemail. Regular email has only the attribute IPM.Note. You can view this through a tool on Unity called DohPropTest that accesses the mailbox items of a specified subscriber and you can see the different values including the message type that results in this value.

  • New document: How to avoid known PDF email attachment problems

Have you ever had problems with PDF attachments sent from Adobe Reader for iOS using Share > E-mail Document?
You may find this document useful to avoid the problems.
How to avoid known PDF email attachment problems
Please let us know if you have encountered different types of problems with PDF attachments.  We can look for solutions or workarounds for you.

Unfortunately, we (Adobe Reader mobile team) do not know if/when Apple will fix the attachment problems (software defects) in Apple Mail.
In particular, the attachment problem with Microsoft Outlook (See Problem #2 in How to avoid known PDF email attachment problems) appears to be a long-standing defect that has been known for years.  However, Apple has not provided any fix for Apple Mail yet.
Adobe Reader for iOS merely launches Apple Mail (the default mail app on iOS) to send a PDF document as an attachment.  Adobe Reader has no control over whether or not to embed a preview image of an attachment in the body of an email message, which is known to cause the problem with Microsoft Outlook (on the receiving side).  The same problem happens when you send a single-page PDF document as an attachment along with an email signature from Apple iBooks on iOS.
For now, all iPad/iPhone users can do is to avoid the problems by using the workarounds that are described in How to avoid known PDF email attachment problems.
When new and different problems with PDF attachments are reported by Adobe Reader for iOS users, we will update the document above.
    Sorry for the inconvenience.
