Email hiding or fowarding?

I have an IWeb website, and I am using a domain name foward for my company name. The domain gave me one email foward. How do I get other email addresses to have fowards. Anyone know where I could go. I want my employess to keep their same address but have a fake name for my website and it fowards to their emails. Thanks

If what you want is exactly the same thing that you already have with the one email forward that came with your domain name, then I'm sure that the company that you registered your domain name could help you out. It sounds like it might be extra cost, though. I know that with my GoDaddy account domain name, I have 100 email forwards that I can use and reuse.
If you want, there are a lot of email redirecting services available. One that I use is http://www.spammotel.com , which lets me set up an unlimited number of email forwards to my registered email address that I can deactivate at any time. You might look into something like this for your employees. The the only email address that you post is the throw away forwarding address. That way the real email address stays private.

Attached .EML files

Would like to see a way that we can open .eml files so that I can retrieve my Voicemails sent to my exchange account. When I receive voicemails from my office they come to my email account as a attachment. The problem is the email comes to me with a email attached and my WAV file resides inside the attached email. I noticed that there has been some mention of this in other posts but I do not think it has been addressed as a real issue. I know that I also have emails attached and fowarded to me now and then.
This is something that I hope is on the "fix" list soon since I cannot be the only one with this issue.
Otherwise I really like this phone.

Palm keeps complaining about their phone sales being down. Here is a idea for you to boost sales. Fix your phones so they have the basic functionality so people want to use them. Not being able to open a .eml file within the email application is a rediculously embarasing problem that has been around for almost a year now. I challange the directors of Palm to start using a Palm Pre themselves for business email use. With an EAS account forward an email from Pre 1 to Pre 2 and try to open. You will not be able to because the forwarded email is attached as a .eml file. I have personally had to migrate users off of the Palm Pre to a differenet phone because of lack of this basic email functionallity with Microsoft Exchange.
Palm, your best advertising is word of mouth. I dont know anyone who would recommend this phone to users that will use the phone for business. You just cannot trust this phone with your important emails or appointments with the current .eml bug, and with the other bugs (some .wav files dont open, calender bug).
And yes, I am aware you know about these issues because I wasted an hour of my time to call in to Palm support and had the tier 2 representative replicate these problems while I was on the phone. Your reps are either clueless or lie about not knowing about these problems. After I proved out the bugs I was assured the techs would be looking at a fix and I would recieve a call when a fix was out. That was October of last year.
With that said it is probably a decent phone if you are just using it for recreation (games, free email yahoo gmail etc, and facebook).

Archiving Mac Mail for later retrieval

I have several users who insist on saving emails stored in Mac Mail to their local hard drive. If they drag messages to the local folder, the emails are saved with a .eml extensions. They can click on the file later and it open and appear as the original email did in Mac Mail. The other option is some of them use File/Save As to save them to the local drive. If they don't select "Raw Message Source" when saving, the files saved as Plain or Rich Text. When that happens, the emails open unformatted in TextEdit. I have instructed them to save these emails properly moving foward. However, one of our big wigs has quite a few emails that are no longer in Mac Mail that he saved to his local drive as Plain or Rich Text. Is there a way to convert those to .eml files so that they open back up in Mac Mail properly. I know it is not as simple as just changing the file extension.

No. They are no longer email messages. They have lost the headers and no longer have the structure of an email message.

Curve 8900 Text Problem

It says that i have 2 text msgs that are unread on the home screen but i don't have any texts waiting..what can i do to get rid of that ?..i dont know why it shows up..i wanna know when i get new ones but wanna get rid of that 2 new msgs when i dont have any..please help

Are they definitely text messages and not emails? Check in the Messages folder, the icon that is just a plain envelope. Open that and scroll all the way through see if its an email you need to open.
You could also try opening the text message icon and clicking the BB button, going to options, then general options and change the 'display message count' to NONE and then exit and save, that should get rid of the icon when you return to the home screen. When you have done that go back and change it back to UNREAD. It might refresh the icons and they wont come back. If it does you must have some unread texts or emails hiding somewhere.
If it doesn't sort it the only other thing I can think of is to go into your text message box and click the BB button on the date line and select 'mark prior open' that should definitely sort it, also do the same in your email folders too.

Is this a Mail problem or an ISP problem?

I've cleaned out my "Sent" folder and my "Trash" folder and my inbox has all of about 25 e-mails. YET, I keep hearing from that darned mailer-daemon that "Your account is using 9M of mail storage,
this is close to its 10M storage quota."
Is 10M really the equivalent of 25 text only mails or are there more emails hiding somewhere in Mail OR is my ISP screwing me over? This is really annoying. Any help, much appreciated.

Hi Brian,
Consider your question as "answered". Kieran's post is your answer: he mentions one of the most poorly documented features of Mail, one that you cannot access by any menu at the top as far as I know.
A fast way of getting this same info is the keyboard command "Command-I", also very poorly documented, but also very handy.

I need to be able to select multiple emails and foward them in one email

I have to foward emails; however, only current way is one at a time. I need to be able to select <n> emails, and then forward them to one or more people- but they want only one email with the other emails appearing in email as attached documents that they open by selecting one of the emails sent to them- need arisen as need to be reimbursed for business trip and they do not want multiple emails- only one email. I only havevan iPad and could do this crummy Outlook but can figure out how to do on iPad...

Is it possible to use Outlook integration to email a newsletter to a customer/vendor group, hiding recipients (like Bcc)?
Can outlook integration see the distribution list? i.e...what group the BP belongs to?

Outlook integration is deigned to link B1 to Outlook. It may not be able to use all advanced functions such as hiding recipients.
For emailing a newsletter to a customer/vendor group, you may use query to get the list and create a distribution group to achieve your goal.

Sending 'hided' link in an email

i am sending an email from sap containing a link to the WAS to a specific application there.
the link is veeeeeery long, over 150 charakters.
this does not look very fine in the email.
is it possible to send the mail from the abap with e.g. the words 'CLICK HERE' ?
and 'under' this words the real link is 'hided'

Place the recipients in the BCC field (blind carbon copy) and set it to your self in the to field.

Fowarding emails from gmail to eprint address

Hello,
I need to print emails, automatically, from a gmail account. I set the fowarding address to the eprinter address but I am receiving the following error message
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
[email protected]
Technical details of permanent failure:
Google tried to deliver your message, but it was rejected by the server for the recipient domain outbounds6.obsmtp.com by outbounds6.obsmtp.com. [64.18.5.12].
The error that the other server returned was:
550 5.7.1 Command rejected
I can print from the email account, no problem. the problem is when I set it to forward automatically.

Hiding email addresses

Hello, when sending the same email to a group of people, how would I go about hiding all of the email addresses that appear in the "to field"? In Mail preferences, under the composing tab, I made sure that the box that's adjacent to the "when sending to a group, show all member addresses" selection is unchecked but that didn't do the trick. Any suggestions?

Your particular SMTP is probably looking for one, standalone email address (not in a group) in the To Header, and finding none, is placing all those in the group in the To Header for all to see. This action is typically in the realm of the SMTP, and not a function of Mail. If you put all the addresses in the Bcc box (whether in a group or not), some SMTP have been proven to move all Bcc addresses into the To Header, thus revealing all addresses, while others do not, when no entry in the To as you send it.
Test putting your own address in the To Header, and then use the Group in the Bcc or CC headers fields. Let me know if this resolves the issue?

Actually, one doesn't even need to address it to one's self or anyone else in the "To:" line. If all recipients are "BCC'ed," the email shows up addressed "To: undisclosed recipients"

Excluding/hiding fields in PDF email attachment

We have created an online interactive form that has several elements, a dropdownbox, a subform and input textfields, that are hidden for the user in "Preview"/"Display"-mode.
We are using the following code to hide the elements (using FormCalc):
