When I try to send an email from user exit in ZXPADU02 it never makes it to SOST. WIll always go to SBWP outbox if I set the flag but never gets sent to receiver address.

Unable to send email to the users from Project Server Workflow

Hello all,
I am facing issues in sending emails to the users from the workflow in SharePoint Designer 2013.
I am trying to send emails to valid users in a Project server 2013 Workflow by Email action.
I have set up the SMTP server successfully, I have configured SMTP server successfully in IIS manager 6.0
I have configured the outgoing e-mail settings in Central Administration successfully,
I have configured the SMTP email settings for my web app in IIS manager as well.
I have configured and synced the User Profile App with the eMail addresses from Active Directory as well.
I have configured the Alerts and Reminders in Operational Policies of PWA settings as well.
I can send the emails to the users successfully through Powershell.
But when I am trying to Start a Task Process with a user in the workflow, the task process starts but it never sent an email notification. So I tested by using the Action Email, that also the user is unable to receive any email. But the Workflow is not giving
any error also. The email sending is successful, but the user is unable to receive it. The workflow succeeds to next phase without any errors.
So to cross verify I tried 'Alert Me' option on a list, but that also is not sending(or might be sending but the user is not receiving) the mail.
What else should I do to solve this issue.

I tried editing the PWA instance as you said, but that also didn't help :(
I even restarted the Project Server Service, but nothing is changed.
I tried creating a new workflow for a List and used send email there, but that also is not sending the mail :(
How do I check where the issue is from ? I mean, whether the workflow is sending the mail and the mail server is not receiving? or whether the workflow is not sending the mail itself? how do I check this? Is there any way to log these details?
Please help me regarding this issue, I am totally clueless how to proceed.

Sending an email to the user if the WEBi scheduling failed in CMC

Current scenario :
I am scheduling WEBi report through CMC and the report is going to end user email as an excel attachment.
Desired Functionality :
What happens is if the scheduling fails due to some reason. The email does not go to the end user on a particular date and then he complaints.
What i need here an email sending option that if the WEBi scheduling has been failed in CMC an email should go to the user saying : " The WEBi scheduling has failed. The team is working on it " . (This is just a sample message)
So the idea is to send an email to the user when the WEBi scheduling fails in the CMC. How to achieve this ?

Hi Ashutosh,
You can send an alert email to a group when the schedule fails to run by choosing the "A job has failed to run" option under notification.
You can see this option only if you schedule the report through CMC.

How to cancelling email submission after user clicks "yes/no" button of message box?

could some one tell me, how can i cancelling the submission event after one user clicks "yes/no" button of message box? The scenario is the following:
After data input in a dynamic form clicks the user send mail button. Before the email submit, the user has to decide going back to the form and validate the input or continuing to submit email.
In case of going back to validate input the submission event must not solve. So, how can i implemente it in java and/or form calc script?

The most easy way to solve your problem is to add two buttons, the first should be regular button and the second is submit by e-mail one. Set the
'presence' property of the second to 'hidden' and add to it your email address. To the first button on 'click' event add the script like this

After upgrading to Yosemite, I don't receive email from Gmail users

Using a MacBook Pro, 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8 GB RAM, 1 TB SSD internal hard drive. OSX v10.10.2
My primary email address is an .mac/.me/.icloud email address.
Recently upgraded to Yosemite. After doing so, I am having trouble receiving emails from Gmail users (I am not having trouble sending emails from my Gmail account, as many people have).
I asked 8 of my friends with Gmail email addresses to email me a test. I received 4 of these emails immediately after they were sent, the other 4 email took anywhere from 4 to 48 hours for me to receive.
Anyone else have this problem, and if so, any solutions? Any help is greatly appreciated.

There have been various posts about delayed Gmail e-mail delivery to iCloud e-mail addresses, but so far, no solutions. Gmail uses a nonstandard form of IMAP e-mails, which may be causing the problem.

Creating automated email reminders to users every 2 weeks via Workflow 2010 Out of Box approach only

I have been asked to automate the email reminders to users (every two weeks) from the SharePoint2010 solution.
I am trying to achieve this via workflow ,but am unable to get the results.
Req :
Twice a month the users should get an automated email reminder for a specific task.
1. On 14th (or last working day in mid month -1) of the month. ( a field "mid month end" captures the date as 15th of the month)
2. On last working day - 1 of the month. ( a field "month end" captures the date as last day of the month)
Please let me know how i can achieve this via Out of box functionality. I donot have exp with workflows so a detailed steps guidlines will be very helpfull.

Although you can start a workflow and then pause it for a number of days, I'd feel uncomfortable with that. If the farm crashes, who guarantees that the paused workflows will pick up where they were left off?
SharePoint does no offer to run a workflow on all items in a list/library -- which I feel is a big draw back.
The good news is that there is a free 3rd party tool that can run a workflow on all (or specific) items in a list or library. It's called the
HarePoint Workflow Scheduler and I love it.
You can create a view that shows the items that you want to run the workflow on.
Or, if you know how to write CAML, you can feed the CAML Query right into the HarePoint Workflow Scheduler task.
At my company we have several sites in production that use the HarePoint Workflow Scheduler with a view.
So, first, create a SharePoint Designer workflow and define it to run manually.
Then use the HarePoint workflow scheduler to define a schedule.
You can define a schedule for the HarePoint tool, like every day, month, week, etc., by just clicking a few boxes.
Since this functionality does not come out of the box with SharePoint 2010, this free tool is a real gem.

Currently we have a process to send mail to muliple users by looping through the list of users and sending each individual an email

Is it a bad idea to try and send email to up to 50000 users at once using IDM? Besides the fact that I would need to search for specific users and get their email addresses based on their capabilities.

Send Welcome Email to New User using the Scripting Agent

I require some assistance please. I have found a number of scripts online to send a Welcome Email to new users whereby they make use of the ScriptingAgent.xml file.
I like the way the scripts have been configured and have mashed up one or two scripts together for my desired result however when testing in my lab (Exchange 2013) I have found tow problems.
The problems are:
1. When creating a new user and mailbox (New-Mailbox) via the ECP the script throws out an error which I will post later in this post. The mailbox is created fine but it does not send out a welcome email. When a user is created in ADUC and then a mailbox
is created (Enable-Mailbox) the welcome email is sent out correctly.
2. In the script i have a section to check for NewUser00 in the HTML file and replace that with the Users Name and Surname, however this does not work correctly, I just come up blank:

How to fetch the email address of User responsible in IW32 transaction? OR What is the logic to get PERSNUMBER of a partner "User responsible"on the basis of work order number?

First get the OBJNR from AUFK table
Now go to table IHPA with the OBJNR value and PARNTER Function VU (VU is for User Responsible)
Get the PARNR value from IHPA table.
Now Go to Table USR21 with the PARNR from IHPA, as BNAME. Then you get the
PERSNUMBER and
ADDRNUMBER
Now go to the Table ADR6 with the Above PERSNUMBER and ADDRNUMBER , Get the email address .
Thats all.

How to send HTML email to End User using OOTB email processs?

We are using OOTB Send email process to send email to end user.
Templates has been created inside /etc/workflow/ProjectName/email folder.
Its working properly for plain text email.but for html template ,It send the email with html tags.
Any pointer on how to write html template for OOTB email process and activate email type as html ?

But using maven deploy..Bundle get activated ..But at line:

How to have mail server automatically cc all email for a user to other acct

I have a user on my 4.9 Xserve who wants her email automatically send to another account. I set forwarding first, but her email client keeps asking her for a password (and hers doesn't work) and won't allow her to see past email. Is that normal? Anyway, I've shut off forwarding for now, and am wondering if it's possible to have it automatically cc'd to another account (send a copy, but don't interfere with her ability to manage the email in her normal account with an IMAP client). Any ideas?

For postfix to be able to read this as a database, you need to 'postmap' it...
sudo postmap recipient_bcc
To confirm, list the files and you will see the two new ones (ls -l).
Before editing the main.cf file, make a backup copy of it...
sudo cp main.cf main.cf.bak
If you need to revert to the backup, you reverse the orig/target args...
sudo cp main.cf.bak main.cf
Edit the main.cf file (sudo pico main.cf) and either 'next page' to bottom or enter '^_' (ctrl + underscore char) then specify line number 999.
add the line...
recipientbccmaps = hash:/etc/postfix/recipient_bcc
Postfix knows to use the postmaped .db file so you do not specify that one in the line.
Save and exit file.
Reload the postfix main.cf configuration file...
sudo postfix reload
Test it by sending an email to the user and watch the mail.log in Console app. You should see the BCC being sent to the other email address. If something has gone wrong, replace the main.cf with the backup, issue postfix reload, then try again.
Once you have confirmed it working, dance around the room playing air guitar and give high-fives to any innocent bystander.

       I created a work flow which will send mail to the user .But i got a new requirement of sending mail to multiple user .These multiple users vary from department to department in organization so I created a method in Bus object to get email address of theses users and stored them in an internal table .But as i am new to
Work flow how could I send the internal table data to the Mail step ( or how can i bind the internal table content to Mail step ) so that mail would be sent to the users ?

Create container element of type AD_SMTPADR of multiline.
pass the container in the email step so that it sends email to multiple users...

How to send one email to multi-users using JavaMail ?

I am using JavaMail API. I am working in "sending emails to users", I had already tested "one email to one user" and got success but when tried to send one email to multi-users then I failed to do that?
Can anyone help me to do this?
I have used the below code to send to multi-user:
Address[] toAddr = {new InternetAddress(_to),new InternetAddress (to2)};
msg.addRecipients(Message.RecipientType.TO, toAddr);
But it is static only 2 users. I want to send to multi-users dynamically taking datas from database.
I have tried by using below code but it doesn't work.....

emails.setAddress(temp);

I think you're confused about some basic Java programming techniques.
There are two obvious ways to do this.
1. Call the addRecipient method in a loop.
2. Collect all the recipients in a List, convert it to an array, and call addRecipients.
