Email IDs in Settings

I have three email IDs listed in my Messages Settings. One is for the ISP from which I get Internet cable and email. I assume this one allows my emails to be "passed thru" to my iPad. This one also seems to allow texts to come to my iPad. I say this because when I turned it off, I quit getting texts.
The other two are [email protected] and [email protected] What are the functions of these two and do I need both of them? I assume one of them allows access to iCloud for syncing, etc?

Hi,
We have requirement that payment advice need to be send to multiple vendor email ids.
I have implemented SAP note Note 1033893, which says after applying the note the email can be sent to multiple email ids by seperating the email ids by space in field c_finaa-intad in BTE 2040.
But when i am trying to send the email to multiple ids is not going , when i tried to send with one email id . its working fine.
i am using RFFOAVIS_FPAYM to send the payment list.
Please help if you know any solution..

Create the distribution list and maintain the email ids in that.
T.code : SO23 - to create a distribution list.
And fuctional consultant that whether they can assign this distriution list in SRO to get the all email ids or u may have to write code in user exit.

BIPublisher - Bursting to multiple Email IDs

I have a requirement to burst email to multiple recipients. I am using Oracle Report 10g for generating XML tags. I am getting multiple records with multiple email IDs and need to send email to all of them with there set of data, meaning for email data will be replaced with actual data for corresponding record.

Hi Chris,
If my understanding is right, you must be using the master data of vendor Code(Which has an attribute to store Email IDs).
You can add multiple email ID to the same master data separated by semi colon ";"
If you are using user IDs instead, I dont think it is possible to use multiple user ID in the same attribute.
in this case you need to enhance the master data with a new attribute to store the second user ID and the create a separate setting for this attribute.

Document Distribution process with email ids.

Hi Experts,
When Documents are distributed with Distribution Type INT on mail id. I am able to distributed & receive that on mail ids without attachment(appl. file).
But if I want to send documents with attached original application file then I am getting error
"Error uploading u2026u2026u2026. (Path of original application file)"
What I am missing for Distributions of documents with attach original application files on email ids.

according to the mentioned error message, please check if the originals are checked in to a storage category.
Further please verify that you have maintained the value '2' in field 'File processing' in customizing of INT. You will find this customizing under
Cross-Application Components >> Document Management >> Document Distribution >> Distribution Type >> Define Distribution Types

hi gurus,
my query is regarding escalation emails while creating complaints in IC webclient.
can i maintian 2 email ids for 1 BP, such that on escalation Mail should go to both emails on same time..??

Dear Nirav,
You can always maintain more than one e-mail id for a BP. In GUI in e-mail id field enter the e-mail id and then click the arrow button (other e-mail ids) or in UI click insert to enter more than one. You can check the stdndard option/do not use option.

XK01 , Multiple Email Ids with comma ECC6.0

Hi ,
We are upgrading the system from 46c to ECC.
The problem is , previously the Email Ids are maintained using comma in a single field in XK01.
Now the client need to maintain the same way in ECC. But in ECC the email validation is happening
and it never allow to enter more email IDs with comma.
But if we maintain individual address using select option pop up then con Ids to be maintained , that will affect the downstream program logic.
I have used BAPI_ADDRESSORG_CHANGE to update the email ids and it again doest not allow me saying INVALID email Ids.
If i use BAPI_ADDRESSORG_SAVEREPLICA , it says
Error:
028 Please use another function to maintain the SPACE version of the address
Any help on this ?

Difference in email ids specified in preferences link

I wanted to understand the difference between the email ids specified in the links Preferences->General and Preferences->Notification schedule in Oracle 11g database enterprise manager. From the documentation I have seen, it appears that that the notification would not go unless the notification schedule is not defined and that the emails would go to the email ids specified in the notification schedule. So, it looks apparent that the email ids specified in Preferences->General would have no role.
I hope, my question is clear that there seems to be no use of the email ids specified in Preferences->General?

Not quite sure I follow but let me try to answer the best I can. In 11g, the Preferences -> email is the email address for each user (set per user). You then have the notification schedule, this is your users schedule of when notifications should be received or not. If you don't want to get emails between 10pm and 4am, you can make that change here. A Super User or SYSMAN acct also needs to set the SMTP info under Setup -> Notification Methods for email to work.
Then you get to the Notification Rules (Preferences -> Rules). You can either Create/Edit (if you have permissions) or Subscribe to an existing. If an administrator sets up a notification rule, a normal user can go in and subscribe to that rule to receive the email notifications (based on their email config and schedule above). Or if you're the owner of a notification rule, you can click the Email Me in the Actions tab of the rule, or assign another notification method (script, pl/sql, etc)... Notifications will only be sent to those users who's email is correct and schedule is enabled for that time.

use LFA1 and ADR6 table combinations to get vendor email Id
Extract both the tables in excel
with reference to address number ( which is common in both tables ).
Keep a simple V look up formula so that u will get email address in LFA1 excel sheet
also u can create query using SQVI.
Steps for the T-code: SQVI
1)Enter your "query name"-----> press"create"
2)Enter title .
In Data source " select Table join".
select basis mode -
> press continue.
Press Insert table--> Give the tabes one by one.
Drag the parameter and drop in another table to establish link and link all the tables.
Then Press check to check whether your link is correct, then press back
You will be able to see the tables and fields on left hand side.
Select the appropriate parameters for selection fields and list fields
Selection fields- For selection of data, the initial screen of report.
List fields are nothing but output.
Execute the report.
You will find the initial screen of report.
Give your parameters for output and execute again.
You will receive the desired output.
You can down load the output in spread sheet/ in the format desired.
lastly save your query before coming out of transaction

If they are greyed out in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars then check to see if you currently have Settings > General > Restrictions > Accounts (under the 'allow changes' heading) set to 'don't allow changes' - if you do then change it to 'allow changes'

Gr message to Purchasing group email Ids

I need to Gr message to Purchasing group email Ids using output type. I checked the output type MLGR, it is not sending the external email ids also it can send the message only to the user entered in the condition record. Also the GR posting is not accessing to the conditions given in the condition record table. It is fetching only the User detail from the condition table. Mail access / authorization is one of the reasons for not getting mails.Have you tried to give message manually inMB02? I think you should take a look at the problem of authorization. The process of using output type MLGR is that a mail is sent to the buyer through the purchase group entered in the PO. Check in IMG>MM>Purchasing>Creating Purchase Groups. An email address should have been maintained there.
Alternatively, try creating an output entry using Medium 7 (as you did), but partner function $1, BU or ME. This should trigger an email to the Buyer who created the order.
This may require you to configure these partner functions for the particular output type. I suggest you make a copy of MLGR.

We need to block certain set of email ids to whom our outbound mails should not go. Our agent's would be sending mails from IC-Web.
I was looking around in SCOT but couldn't locate any configuration setting for that.
Any idea how can we achive it.

In CRM , Business Partner Master -address data -communication --> email
-->maintain internet mail addresses , there is tickmark for "do not use communication " against every email address.
If you "Tick " it , email will NOT be sent to that Email ID, for this BP

Email auto deletion settings.

I have had my email auto delete settings set the same for years. I have spam folder set to delete in 1 day and my sent email and trash folder to auto delete in 30 days. None of that is working anymore. I have to physically delete these folder items myself. It's not a big problem, just wondering why nothing is working like it use to.

Do you have the account enabled on another device like a smartphone or tablet? Are you now using an email client on your computer like Outlook, Thunderbird or Windows Live Mail? Because if you are, the settings on those other devices will override the ones you have set in the Comcast Preferences for the webmail.
