Email inbox only shows items recieved today.

I have set up my Blueyonder email account on my E72 & can send & receive emails ok. the problem I have is that the Inbox only shows new email. By that I mean anything I have received (and read) prior to today do not appear. This is a pain when trying to reply to an email received 2 days ago as I cannot see it in the Inbox! The default setting of Hide mail after 2 weeks cannot be altered. Does anyone know why I cannot see older email from the last few days? By having it only show todays emails is no better really than receiving an Instant Message. Surely this can't be right? Is it something to do with the Blueyonder account or the phone's email setting?
Please help.

And FYI - Delete Prior is good to delete items only off of your BB (prior to a certain date). The items you delete that way will ONLY delete from your BB and will never sync with your client/server email account.

Inbox only shows messages from today

My inbox only shows messages from the current day. The account it's sync'd with has more messages. I don't have any filters in place and my memory isn't full. I haven't played with the settings (until the problem occurred). Any ideas?

Who is email provider? What sort of email account is it - POP3, IMAP or Exchange? POP3 will work like this as with that whoever first downloads the latest mail from the server deletes it from there and so it's unavailable to other mail clients on other devices.
Either switch your email account to IMAP or change your POP3 account's settings so the new mails are not deleted for some time (a week, a month or whatever) after first download and are thus available to other devices also (IMAP is best solution but if POP3 is all that's available from whoever your provider is then you'll have to live with POP's limitations).

Imap inbox only shows 1 email message until mail.app is quit/restarted

i am having a problem with mac mail that has persisted for months and nobody i talk to has an answer. this started in leopard - same account in panther mail did not do this.
basically i have one particular email account on a well supported university imap server (eg it is a standard imap account, no funny ports, nothing shady about the server). i use mac mail to access the account but when i leave it open for a few minutes suddenly all the emails in the inbox disappear, except one. oddly, the one email message that shows in the inbox seems random - sometimes it is a message from a week ago, sometimes the most recent one, sometimes one from last year.
i have tried changing the imap settings, turning on/off idle mode, etc etc to no avail. the account previously had 1500 messages in the inbox and recently i trashed all but 150. still happening. when i restart mac mail all the messages show up again. it is just unpredictable and annoying because i have several accounts so i usually leave mac mail on all accounts inbox view and then go crazy trying to find an email in that account, only to realize it is this bug again
any ideas?

I am wanting to search for old mail from my inbox. Right now it only shows abut 2 weeks of recent mail.When I do a "mail search", I cant find what I am looking for. How do I have my inbox mail automatically show more that 2 weeks of the latest mail. I would like it to show a month or more.

There are a couple of things that could be deleting mail messages.
In Mac's Mail app click on the Mail > Preferences menu item. Now select your offending mail account from the Accounts list. Now click on Advanced. There is a setting to "remove copy from server after retrieving message." The Mail app will delete messages from your email service based on this setting. This will not delete messages from your computer.
If you are losing messages from your computer then click on Rules in Mail's Preferences, then check each "rule" to see if there is one that could be deleting messages. Click on the rule and then on Edit to see the rules criteria
Example of a rule that would delete messages:
If neither of these is your problem I suggest you check with Yahoo to see if there is a setting on their service that could be deleting messages.

Email are only showing up in Messages Folder, not in AOL Folder

I have a new blackberry curve 8310. I set it up to receive my AOL emails. It worked for a while, but a few days ago I noticed that the emails only show up in the messages folder. And now I can't reply to or send emails. It only gives the option to "save to draft". I can't even be sure that I'm receiving all my emails any more.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be appreciated.

ALL your messages will go to the main messages folder.
It sounds like you lost your service book, or it is corrupt. Try Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table > Menu > Register.

HT201359 my credit card shows an iTunes charge that I don't recall. How do I find out what the purchase is? I've tried App Store and iTunes purchase list, but they only show items...not receipt numbers

I have been trying in vain to get purchase details on my iPad. I click on the iTunes button, but it only shows the names of the songs, I click on the App Store icon and it shows apps, but none of these match the charge, there is no email regarding purchases. What is the point of having reference numbers when they don't allow you to use them to reference??

You can only view the full purchase history on your computer's iTunes : if you log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.

Email (gmail) only shows up in the "in box" on iPhone, not on main computer

I need help with my gmail account as it relates to the iPhone.
Certain mail like Facebook alerts, bills and other general type mail only shows up only on the iPhone, not on my main computer's in box. I can find the missing mail in "all mail", but I would like to see it in my in box. Help please!

Hello again... I have the 5S with current capacity of 56 GB and available space of 28GB. (I have several big big rule books and pdf files for work on the phone). There are currently a total of 1627 photos (yes, I know that's a lot...but there used to be even MORE, and I had no problems before ios 8.02) on the phone, and I have done routine purges and deletes and backups to my PC and the Cloud.
When I did the first update to ios 8.0, of course, I found out quickly that photostream and camera roll disappeared, but I was smart enough to figure out that the upgrade created the folder "recently added" and I was able to reinstall the Cloud on my PC and my photos are streaming nicely to the PC and my Ipads (two of them) when I get home to wifi.
Then I did the ios 8.02 upgrade last week. Used my phone to take photos this past weekend while away on a trip, and darn, one of the photos that I really needed, disappeared. I thought perhaps that the problem was "operator error" by the person who took the photo of me. But then last night, I was taking some photos and lo and behold, the same thing happened to me...twice...... the photo image was in the little "icon" box, and I wanted to "share it". So, I touch the icon of the photo, but the photo did not appear in the "recently added" bunch of photos. The previous photo was there. I took another photo, and it appeared normally in the "recently added". <shrug>. Took a few more photos, and once more... the icon showed the image, but no image was in the "recently added" folder.
That's all that I know as of now...... today... no problems. all photos (took about 20) all appeared in "recently added" as they should.

Tag Cloud only showing item I tagged

Hi all,
I have a Tag Cloud Web Part on a site collection root site homepage. I have tagged content in other site collections. I can see the tags in the Tag Cloud, but other users can't. Nor can they see the trending hashtags.
Please assist.

i think you need to edit the properties:
In the Web Part properties, under Tag Cloud Configuration, click the down arrow under Show Tags to see options:
To set the tag cloud Web Part so that it only shows tags derived from each team member’s My Site, click By current user.
This option lets you see only those tags derived from your My Site on your version of the team site. Other team members will only see tags from their My Site.
To set the tag cloud Web Part so that it aggregates all tags from the tag clouds on all team members’ My Sites, click By all users.
To set the tag cloud Web Part so that it only shows tags associated with content on the current site, clickUnder the current URL by all users.
This option lets team members build a collection of tags specific to content on the team site.

Why is my mail inbox only showing the first ten emails when I have it set to show the first 200?

I have my email setting set to show me 200 messages in my inbox, but can only see the first ten emails. Anyone know what might be happening?

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if they show when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I can not view email message in the message frame, this is new, email always worked until yesterday . A portion of the message shows in thread column, but blank space shows in email column. How do I remedy this? I can only read my email when I go to the forward/reply button.

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Why is Firefox intermittenly clearing my email inbox only?

All my emails are intact in my inbox if I open internet explorer, but when using fire fox they are gone. All other folders are intact, just inbox is cleared and not sent to any other folder.

How do you move from unread email to the next ? Are you tapping any of the icons at the top of screen or just tapping on the next email in your Inbox ?
