Email issue on iphone 4s

I have gmail setup on my iphone 4s and have never had a problem. Today I tried to open my mail and it says "Cannot Get mail. The user name or password for 'Gmail' is incorrect." I haven't changed anything, why would this be happening? I tried going into settings and re-entering the password and this is still happening. Pleas help!

I also tried deleting the email account and adding it again and I get a message saying "Cannot Get Mail. The user name or password for 'imap.gmail.com' is incorrect." And I KNOW I'm typing the right info, it hasn't changed in years, and if I got to Gmail through Safari I can get in. Arghh!!!!

Hi Y'all
I have a MacBook and an iPhone 3GS.
When I receive email while I'm out and I read it when I get home the email does not come through on the MacBook.
When I'm at home I get an email through the MacBook but it doesn't come through the iPhone.
Question...
If someone sends an email, how do I get it to appear on both my MacBook and my iPhone no matter which one I read it on first?
This is why...
Sometimes I need to print off my emails and I can't on the iPhone because my Epson printer is not an AirPrint printer. If i read it on my iPhone, then I have to forward it to myself again so I can receive it on my MacBook so I can print it out.
It would be great to be able to read my emails on my iPhone but know when I switch on my MacBook they are still all there waiting to be read again!!
Any help would be much appreciated...

I had a look as you directed.
The third thin down said something like you said - remove from server and it was ticked. However, the option listed under it was 'after one week'.
If I read an email straight away I get them both. For example, my iPhone 'pinged' to tell me I had an email - it was from you. I am working on the computer - I went into Mail it was there - no problem - that's what I want it like.
If I am at work and I read an email, when I get home and go into Mail it doesn't come through well before the one week is up.
Should I just de-select it altogether and see if that works?

Email issues on iPhone 3GS after OS4 update

Hi,
I updated my firmware to OS4 yesterday, and my email has been on the blink since then.
Basically, whenever I check my email, I get stuck on the "Connecting..." display forever. The phone never checks my mailboxes, it's just eternally "Connecting..."
The only way I've gotten around this is by turning off the phone, then turning it back on. Once I do that, the phone collects the mail - but only ONCE. After that, it goes back on the endless "Connecting..." loop.
What's the problem? I never had this issue with the last firmware. Just as of yesterday. I have three email accounts on my iPhone - but like I said, the old firmware handled all of them without issue.
Any answers would be greatly appreciated.

I had two users that were unable to get email from Microsoft Exchange 2003 on their iPhone 3GS after upgrading to iOS 4. One other user, however, had no problems after the upgrade. The only difference was that the user with his email functioning had minimal messages in his Inbox.
So for the two other users, I archived email messages to reduce their Inboxes from around 13,000 messages to below 2,500 messages. Once I did this, email started flowing through just fine. I did this to the Sent Items as well, and it worked too. I would give that a try.

Yahoo Email Issue on iPhone

So my problem involves my iPhone 5s and 1 of my 2 yahoo email accounts. I am pretty sure the issue is on the email side as I tried adding this email to my wife's iPhone 5 and the same problem occurred.
I will regularly get push notifications that an email is in my inbox, but when I go to check it nothing is there. At the bottom, however, it states that there is 1 unread message. If I restart the phone or go into Setting>Mail, Contacts, Calendars and turn off the Mail slider and then turn it back on, the email will appear. This happens way too frequently during the day and is extremely annoying. I have tried deleting the account and reading it. I have tried adding the email using Other instead of Yahoo and still nothing works.
I am hoping that someone can help as this is driving me crazy.

Comcast Email issues on iphone 4

Hello,
I have set up my iphone to have my comcast.net email on it. I have always been able to receive my emails but I can not set or reply to them. I have checked all my settings they appear to be set up correct. Does anyone know of a tip or something I am missing?
Any help to resolve this extremely frustrating issue would be wonderufl.

Email issue with iphone 4 verizon

Having trouble setting up POP email account. I get this msg, sender address was rejected by the server. Everything looks OK to me and I am able to receive messages. How do I fix this?

1.) Tell Bluetooth to forget the UConnect Device
2.) Repair to UConnect.
3.) When you go thru the pairing process, delete the old names of the phone and come up with a new name for the new pairing.
4.) Power down vehicle and Uconnect
5.) Power down the iPhone completly, hold down the top right hand button till you get the power screen then turn it off. Leave it off for a touch, say 2 min.
6.) Hit home screen button or top right button and repower phone.
You should be able to connect with Uconnect again by bluetooth and you will have the same options as before with audio.

Ios 6 email issue for Iphone

Ok before I updated my Iphone too Ios 6 I could read work information speadsheets from the email attached to the phone. Now (after updating my phone to Ios 6) I can not read those same emails. The spread sheet still appears, most of the information is readable. But the core information has a zore-sum code in the box. Not sure what too call it. I have tried the "letter opener" app, but gives me the same problem. I am pretty sure the email are a outlook express file.

A week or so ago somebody posted a simeila/same problem. It seems that iOS 6 no longer reads/displays Excel speadys geneated with older versios of Excel.
You can try:
- Reset the iPod. Nothing will be lost
Reset iPod touch: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup
- Restore to factory settings/new iPod.

Is this email stuck on your phone, but no outbox appears to delete it? If so, try this:
Turn on airplane mode. Send a new email. Now you should be able to see an outbox. Then delete both of the emails from the outbox and turn airplane mode off.

I talked with a tech today and he said I cloud is having problems which should be resolved shortly.
In the mean time I used the .me smtp server settings which allowed me to send mail.

Email does not and has never synced between the iPhone and the computer. It sounds like you may have had your PC set up to use POP3 for e-mail, which will download e-mail from the server and delete it, causing it to vanish from your phone if the phone was set up for IMAP. IMAP provides full synchronization between the server and clients. What you delete on one will vanish from the others. This is the preferred method of managing e-mail as it prevents e-mail from being downloaded, for example, on a PC and making it inaccessible on your phone.

Limit or issues with adding email account to iphone 4 AND Macbook Pro

Is there a limit to email accounts on iphone 4... I tried to add a 4th email account to iphone 4 AND to my email program on MacBook Pro. It worked for a couple days and not both say user name or pass is incorrect. I CAN check email from gmail.com STRANGE! :/ Annoyed

think all do that same deal when changing network if you're driving
it's not the speakers it's the wire connecting the device with the speakers
it will act as a neutral antenna and receive the harmonics from the gsm signals when they get a sms or change network and that will play in the speakers
maybe you could look into a very very very shielded cable 3.5mm cable which would be protected from those harmonics or maybe you should look into external speakers which use bluetooth a2dp profile

IPhone 4 email issues. Need help!

The simple answer is that there is something wrong in the settings. Without knowing the settings that sprynet requires and what you have entered there's no way to diagnose it. Have you checked their web site? Most email providers now have specific instructions for configuring email on the iPhone for their servers; some even have special servers for iPhones.

I have an iPhone 4 and just got an iPad with wifi+3G. When I set up my iPad for email, I started getting email on the iPad ok, but I stopped getting new email on my iPhone. I want email to be received in both places.
I had been receiving email on my iPhone and my desktop through Mac mail just fine, in both places. I set up my iPad the same way I set up my iPhone:
Fetch new data set to push, using imap for incoming and smtp for outgoing.
My iPhone is giving the alert that new mail has arrived, as in the little red number pops up over the mail icon, but no new mail is showing in my inbox.
How do I receive mail on both my iPad and iPhone?

Then sync both devices, restart both devices.

My question is simple and I'd like an exactly same answer : Can iPhone users send emails from their iPhone's to one or more groups created in Outlook?
This is my situation: our organization is using iPhone to provide email, calendar, contact, task etc. to some of their employees. We are using Airwatch MDM Agent on user's iPhone because we have an Airwatch server in place. I have an user and she has an iPhone 5 and she has created some groups in Outlook but these groups are not reflected in her Contacts in the iPhone. I have update her phone with the latest update, although I was almost sure that this was not the issue, then I've found some interesting posts on internet saying that this was a known problem for the users with the previous iOS but I thought this might has been corrected with the iOS, apparently not.
Also I've tried ''the trick'' that is posted on several forums with the iCloud but neither so it's working. I am looking for a straight answer, if this works or not on iPhone's?
