Email language

Hello all,
recently I moved to Germany and updated my address.
However I left english as preferred language in profile.
Then I started getting e-mail from Oracle in German not in English.
Is it possible to receive them in English?
Thanks,
Igor

Hi Ronik, I saw that your question hasn't been answered yet.
Go to:
Apple - My Apple ID
https://appleid.apple.com/
Sign in with your Apple ID and on the left hand column the last item is "Language and Contact Preferences"
You'll be able to change your "Preferred Language" there. As soon as you begin typing the choices will apear.
I hope this helps.

  • Email language wise forwarder in specific DL on Exchange Server 2010

    Dear All,
Can we set email language wise forwarder in specific
     DL on Exchange Server 2010.
    Below is the scenario :
I have 4 users who sent mail to DL(DL-IT) in different languages like Dutch, German, English, now I want to set email forwarder on DL-IT like if someone send email in Dutch language then Dutch language
email should be forward to another DL (DL_DUTCH) and same for other language.
    Thank you in advance.
    Pradip Sisodiya

    Hi Pradip,
afaik there is no solution based on a DL object. While saying that, if you had to handle only organization internal senders you may try like that:
    1. please set the language property for all your mailboxes ; I guess you can do that based on the OU / Location the user objects lives in.
    2. now in Exchange 2013 and Exchange 2010 there will be a Header for the language like that
    Content-Language: en-US
    Accepted-Language: en-US
(the language, en-US in my example, at the RHS will Change if you changed the Languages property of that Mailbox.)
     3. finally you can add Transport rules to forward based on the Content-Language or Accepted-Language
    a. Setting in
mail flow -> rules -> create a new rule (choose no template) -> more Options -> add condition --> apply this rule if ... -> a message Header --> enter text (= Content-Language) & enter text patters "language", as en-US
plus (=add condition) the recipient is your DL
    b.  do the following : Redirect the message to --> your recipient
    c. save that rule.
if you ran the get-transportrule cmdlet, it Looked like that:
(you better create it once for initial testing and afterwards you can Export / Change that rule and use new-transportrule to apply the other languages / recipients)
If that Content-Language Header is present on the message, that rule will work as you expected.
Please remember to add the language property to your Mailbox. if you ran
    $mymailbox = get-mailbox
    $mymailbox.language
it really Needs to have the value you expected on the RHS of your Header condition.
    Regards,
    Martin

  • Change email language in 2 dedicate mode : portlet & application

I am working about customizing Oracle Collaboration Suite .
I want to change email language in 2 dedicate mode : portlet & application ,
I have searched resource bundles for changing language and I have found two types of file,
    1. 11 steps to install an unsupported language translation into the Portal that changes portal language
    2. <%ORACLE_HOME%>\j2ee\OC4J_OCSClient\applications\ocsclient\ocsclient-web\10.1.2.2.0\application\labels
    that changes email's panel.
But changing these files, does not effect on the email application.
so I have found a document that is about customizing Oracle Collaboration Suite
in Oracle® Collaboration Suite Administrator's Guide.
In this document there is comments for Customizing Oracle Web Access Client Resource Bundles,
I tried to do its instructions but I couldn't go forward because when I run the perl script,
I get access denid error for oracle_home.
Any idea about where to look for this problem? or any tip?
    Best regards,

  • Email language problem

    Hi guys,
I have a small issue with my nokia n8 after upgrading to belle.
it seems everything works just fine except, my email client which is now in Chinese...
The sistem language is English and everything is in english, except for the mail client.
Any ideeas how to change the language of the email client ?

    Hi DanMarcu,
    Welcome to Nokia Support Discussions!
That is odd indeed. Email client comes with the operating system, so what you can try, is to re-install the update using Nokia Suite. If the problem persists, we would advise you to visit your local Nokia Care point and let them have a look.
    Hope this helps!

  • IPhone email language support

I had setup the iphone email with gmail, and other pop account. But I find out that they don't displace other language. I had received email from Hong Kong, they wrote it in chinese. iPhone email does not display it. If I use Safari to view the email, it display fine. Is there a fix out there?

I don't think there is any fix, so you may need to continue using Safari. I believe iPhone should display it correctly as long as the mail contains the proper required "Content-Type: text/plain; charset=" header. If you have a way of viewing this header via another means, it would be interesting to know what it says for the undisplayed email. It would make sense to report this to Apple
    http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html
with a much detail as possible about the emails which are not displaying, especially what kind of program was used to send them.
Unfortunately some mail systems do not create the required headers correctly, and this version of the iPhone lacks any way to fix that manually.

  • How to change the email language from German to French?

  • Email Language settings

So all of a sudden all my email receipts I receive from PayPal are in Spanish even though my account is in English and language is set to English...How do I remedy this?

You can get keyboard for other languages and have the always available.
Settings > General > Keyboard > Keyboards > Add New Keyboard > Select the Keyboard you wish to add.
Then when typing your email you will notice that a key with a Globe has appeared in the lower row of keys to the left of the space bar. Tapping the Globe key will switch the keyboard to the second keyboard. Tap the Globe key again to return to the original keyboard.

  • 5800: Email Language "Conversion"

    Hi All,
I'm a new owner of the 5800 (all s/w updated) after using BB, Palm, etc.
I've found an odd email issue that has never been a problem with other brands I've owned. I work for a Chinese company. Many of my emails are written in both English and Chinese.
When I recieve an email that has a Chinese symbol in it, the email won't totally open (shows header). A small pop-up tells me it can't be converted. (I don't want it translated, only to open so I can read English).
My previous brands open the email just as it would in Outlook: shows both English and Chinese symbols.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

I checked with Nokia Care. They won't do a patch to correct this problem because it is a US version (I reside in the US).
I did discover a way to view the email with Chinese: the header has an attachment which I clicked on just to see what would happen. To my delight, it changes the view of the email and shows the entire body of the message.
That's not the ideal solution, but I can work around it.

  • ICloud email language

Although my language is set to English in both iCloud.com settings and appleid.apple.com I always receive calendar invitation in Dutch. Now I don't speak Dutch, I have never requested anything in Dutch and I do not live in the Netherlands.
So how, once and for all can I set the language to English and only English ?
    Thanks in advance !

I know, it may sound weird, but have you already tried to change it to something else and then back to English?

  • N8 - Email language issue

    Hi all,
I've observed another bug in my N8. Product code is 0599933.
When setting up an e-mail account (gmail, hotmail, yahoo... etc) you can see different folders for inbox, sent, deleted e-mails, etc.
I'm using my phone in Spanish... so "Deleted" should be "Eliminados". But phone says "Eiminados"... it's missing an "L".
It's a silly thing... but this phone it's expensive so should be correct spelling... don't you think?

There are occasional errors like this - why not report it via 'contact us' so that Nokia realises the mistake for the next updates?
