Email links not recognized

My iPad no longer recognizes links in email.  This is true for both Hotmail and Gmail.  Is this a settings problem?

Close the mail app completely and then reset your iPad. No clue which iOS you are running so .....
In order to close apps in iOS 5 or iOS 6, first tap the home button once. Then tap the home button twice and the recents tray will appear at the bottom of the screen. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner of the app that you want to close. Tap the home button twice.
In order to close apps in iOS 7, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

    My problem is that I can't connect to skype after I changed my password.
    The new and also the old password are giving errors while logging in.
    If I want to retrieve my password skype doesn't know my email address (while I still have old invoices in my mail, so this must be correct). If I want to retrieve with my skypename and my latest ordernumber (2010) this is not recognized.
    How can I retrieve my password now?

    When previewed in IE6 the rollover shows up fine, and the link is

    Are you talking about the @icloud email address?  If you didn't receive an email from Apple telling you that an @icoud email address has been reserved for you, you may not have access to it yet.  They are still in the process of rolling this out and thay may not have gotten to your account yet.

    I have a series of email addresses that work fine in the resulting .pdf (set to generate automatically), but there's one that either isn't recognized as an email address, or when it is, has a few extra characters that appear after it.

    I may have misunderstood what you're doing. If you are relying on Acrobat/Reader to recognize certain text as email addresses (Edit > Preferences > General > Create links from URLs), then a workaround is to create an actual link (Open a web page type) and set it to a "mailto" type:

    I too have this problem. But use gmail on firefox.
    The link keeps saying expired when I click it immediately after receiving it, I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this.
    And now it says attempt limit exceeded, so I cannot try any more to receive confirmation links to verify my email for sync :/

  • Email links not opening in browser

    When there is a web link inside an email, it will not link to the browser if I left click on it and also won't open if I right click on it and click on "open link in browser". The cursor blinks but nothing happens.
    I am able to right click and choose "copy link location", then paste it in the browser and get to it that way.
    Please help.

  • Mac InDesign cs6 to PC InDesign CC - Links not recognized

    I am having issues going from a Mac using cs6 to a PC using CC.
    I have templates for store signage, ads for all different media outlets that all have different sizes, etc. and my problem is with the logos and pictures not being recognized.
    I knew going into this that this would not be a completely smooth transition, but I did not anticipate that every time I open one of these files for the first time that I would have to relink all the different elements of the file.  All the files I access come from the Marketing folder.
    The path on my old mac in which I created the files:  Macintosh HD > Documents > Marketing
    The path on my PC in which I tried to best duplicate the path:  OS (C:) > Documents > Marketing
    Is there a way to communicate to InDesign to replace Macintosh HD iwith OS (C:)?
    Any help is much appreciated!

    I tried this and I get an error: "Failed to find 8 links in new folder. These links have not been relinked, and will remain selected in the Links panel."
    The other thing is that even if this was to work, I don't have every missing link in the same folder.  If I have logos in one folder, I have outdoor images from our vendors in a different folder, I would still need to relink every single item essentially since they are all in a different folder.

    This link will open you the sap web gui with the screen of the transaction crm_dno_monitor. In this screen you can insert the charm message number in the field "Transaction No." and display the charm message.

  • Verify Email Link Not Working?

    Hi there,
    I tried setting up my Facetime today. I can get to the point where it verifies your email and sends the verification link to your email. When I click "verify now" my internet wont load the page, saying the address does not exist or is not valid. Am I clicking in the wrong place to verify?

  • Secure Zone password set (send log in details email) link not working for everyone

    Hi Guys,
    I have a site with three secure zones for different online programs. We're beginning to sell some programs and, because we aren't using a seemless gateway, we are manually subscribing them to the secure zones then clicking the 'Send log in details email' button. The email seems to be going out which is good. But, some clients can't click on the link to set their password. Nothing happens. Even if they copy and paste the link text into a browser window, still nothing.
    Anybody know why this would be working for some people and not others. Could it be to do with cookies or email clients etc. We are at a loss and therefore have lost two sales so far (they asked for refunds) because they couldn't access their programs in the secure zone.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

    The thing is, most of the time the link text appears as a link, but not for everyone. Do you think this will fix it?

  • Email invites not recognized since Mavericks update

    I updated my Mac Mini server to 10.9.2 and OS X server to 3.1.
    Since the update the calendar server is having issues sending out proper email invites.
    For example when sending invites to someone who uses Outlook / Exchange, they are not able anymore to directly accept the invite. The .ics file is named as: "not supported calendar message.ics
    This seems to happen on multiple Exchange servers. We can open the ics file and accept it, but the ical server doesnt seem to recognize the answer. I made sure the answer was in the mailbox thats being used by the ical server
    We setup the server to use a gmail account for monitoring email invites.
    The ics files generated by the ical server are containing much less lines that before the update:

  • Blackberry Link - not recognizing device and does not allow synching calendar and contacts

    I cannot get Blackberry Link to work properly on my laptop running Windows 8.1 Pro.  It takes a very long time to open and it does not allow me to sign in saying there is no internet connection and I cannot get around resolving this issue.  That is problem 1.  Problem 2, Blackberry Link sometimes recognizes the device and sometimes it does not.  Problem 3, when I do get Link to recognize the device, (it can backup), synching the calender and contacts on the device to Outlook does not work.  I try to do a one way synch from the device to outlook and it processes but Outlook is not updated (outlook has no contacts or calendar events as I want to pull them off my device).
    Any ideas?  Thanks.

  • Link not recognizing legacy backup files

    I'm trying to restore some of my 9900 data into my new Q10 but link will not recognize the 9900 backups.
    I've tried this originally on my Mac to no avail. So I transfered over the 9900 backups to a PC and the Windows Blackberry Link won't recognize it either. 
    Any suggestions? My 9900 is bricked, so I can't access it.

    You are totally correct.  The first versions of BlackBerry Link did not have this option.
    Now this is a known issue for BlackBerry Link for Mac, however it should work for the PC.  Do you have any backup files that were originally created on the PC instead of brought over from the Mac?

  • ICloud email address not recognized

    I just signed up to iCloud for the first time and entered an @icloud email address. However, when I attempt to add Mail to iCloud in System Preferences, it asks me to create an email address. When I enter the address I already created, it says the address is already taken (probably by me). I'm reluctant to enter a new email address in fear of the confusion of having 2 addresses.
