Email List mail blocked- How to fix?

Issue: Email from a mailing list is apparently not getting to me.
Questions:
1. Is there a way to view the emails that are caught by the .Mac filters? From what i understand Apple uses several methods of filtering the emails coming to the .Mac users. (At work we use a different system, but we are able to go and unblock "good" emails ourselves.)
2. Is there a way to submit "good" email addresses to the .Mac filters?
3. Should I use a different account for email lists?
Notes: I only saw one recent Thread similar to this and it was unanswered and archived.

I have 2 clients with the exact same problem. Since the iOS update 8.0 their mail apps launch run for a while then kick off to a black blank screen and crashes the mail app, this brings them back to their desktop.
I have done everything from factory restores to changing their mail account types from IMAP/POP/Exchange MAPI this does not solve the problem. We have taken it in to our nearest iStore and they have stated that nothing can be done and that we should hope that the next iOS update fixes the issue. I believe its an OS bug crashing the iOS mail app. I hope APPLE team look into this as if there is no fix on the next update i am going to recommend my clients revert to an older version of iOS and you know what an ordeal that is and what all that requires.
I will keep you posted on my findings but in the meantime i don't think anything can be done.

I figured out my problem...... I have custom text tones set up for certain ppl and had the default text tone set to "none" well with the iOS6 update it made it so if your default text tone is set on "none" then you won't hear what I call the send and recieve text sounds when in a converstation... if you change the default text tone to any text tone other than "none" you will get your send and recieve sounds back.... kinda annoying if you don't won't random texts from ppl waking you up... so I made a custon text tone that is called silence with just recording a few seconds of dead noise then edited it and turned all the sound levels down to 0 and set that as my default text tone.... now I have the send and recieve text sounds in a conversation and everything is fine! Sorry Nehucskter the first time I had this problem thats the first thing I did was reboot my phone.... first thing you do for everything lol....

Check Settings>Messages>Receive At>Caller ID, make sure it's set to your phone number not your email address.

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Step 1
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
Enter the name of the crashed application or process in the Filter text field. Select the messages from the time of the last crash, if any. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.
Step 2
In the Console window, look under User Diagnostic Reports (not "Diagnostic and Usage Messages") for crash reports related to the crashed process. The report name starts with the name of the process, and ends with ".crash". Select the most recent report and post the entire contents — again, the text, not a screenshot. I know the report is long. Please post all of it anyway.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report — they're very long and rarely helpful.

Why wrong dates in Mail and how to fix it?

The strangest thing happened when we started up a new MacBook Air and made new accounts in Mail. IMAP-accounts that already was in use on the older MacBook. When we got the accounts up and running, all mails in the inbox list had been updated to 2014 - when I opened an email the time and date of that particular email was displayed correctly, but in the inbox list all mentions of the year was changed to 2014 - regardless of how old the message was. Which makes it totally impossible to sort emails by date/year. Never seen anything like this. I tried to delete the accounts and start all over - but it didn't fix the problem.
Anybody else seen anything like this and what could possibly be the fix for this problem?

Thunderbird has lost all coonnections to sending mail. How to fix?

Thunderbird shows only the INBOX and messages, but it does not have the SEND Mail button displayed nor any of the other parts of the prviously displayed application.
Essentially I have no email sending capability.
Is there a fix? It appears that I can still receive email as my most recent email in the INBOX is dated at 11:32AM this morning.

I have a new email address and my old email keeps coming up on icloud when trying to update apps and i don't know the password or security questions for the old email. I can sign in with my apple id which is tied to another email but not itunes how to fix

I have an apple id and it has my current email attached to it. however when i go to update apps it's asking for the password for an old email. I no longer have the old email and can't use it. when I go to icloud on my ipad it asks for the password for old email. it doesn't allow me to change the old email to current. when i go to reset it i can't remember the password or security questions for the old email so it doesn't let me go any further. How do I fix this? Do i need to call apple support?

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account. I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there. On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back. Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email. The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

HELP - all words are getting underlined in red while using yahoo mail. How to fix this?

I am using Firefox browser and already upgraded to the latest 5.0. While using my yahoo mail all words are underlined in red(it is happening as I write this note). How do I stop this from happening and have just he mispelled words underlined? When the email is sent the underline goes away.

Do you have a dictionary installed and selected?
*You can see which dictionary is selected if you right-click in a text area and open the Languages submenu.
* Open the "Add Dictionaries" link to install a dictionary if you do not have one.
* Make sure that [X] "Check Spelling" in the right-click context menu is check-marked.
You can enable or disable spell checking globally:

4000 "unread" emails after update! How to fix it?

After updating to iOS 7, my hotmail inbox suddenly reports over 4 thousand unread emails. How could that happen? I mark all as read, and the problem goes away for a while, until i check my mail again. Then the same crazy amount of "unread" emails pops up. I can't get rid of it! Does anyone know how? I've talked to Apple Support for an hour, but they could not solve the problem.

Could you explain the imap-pop-bit for me please? I'm afraid I don't know too much about it. I remember Apple saying something about it too. As far as I know, the Hotmail account is a pop-account? What is an imap, and should I change if possible?
Yes, I forgot to say I also have a Gmail-account that I use on my iPhone. It works perfectly well, and hasn't gotten the same problem. It works slightly different: When I read a Gmail message on my iPhone, it is also marked as read if I log on to my Gmail inbox online later, and if I delete a message, it is also deleted online. With my Hotmail, I can delete messages on my iPhone, and they're still marked as unread when I log on online. I have enjoyed that solution, because it means I can for instance delete messages that take up too much space on my iPhone, and still keep them online.

In the last few weeks my iphone 4s has deleted my saved email accounts several times. It also deleted a bunch of important notes which I could not recover through ICloud... One of which was extremely important and will take some serious research to get back

Reminders has deleted my list twice. How to fix this?

I have started using the Reminders feature since updating my iPhone4 to iOS5. It has since deleted my reminders twice, and I can't seem to get them back. I can't even see my completed tasks. Has anyone else encountered this problem?

Same thing happened to me this evening and my Reminders were wiped out and replaced with a very old task from Outlook. It was working fine all day and now I'll have to try to remember my reminders. The reminders should have been merged with Outlook Tasks. I did not make any entries in Outlook Task so there's probably an issue with iCloud.
