Email login

I was switched a few days ago to the new BT.com. Ever since then I have had to log in every time I want to go to my emails. Also, I get logged out after about 5 mins because 'my session has expired'. How can I stay logged in? There is no box to tick on the login page.

I believe that the "Keep me logged in" box becomes available once you have been fully migrated to BTMail.
This is being done in stages so you may not have been fully migrated yet. Once you have the box becomes available after your first log on. You may need to restart your browser.

It sounds like you have the Find my iphone Activation lock for sure. Go to www.icloud.com/find and see if you put in that Apple ID that is coming up and yoru password to see if you are able to sign into the account that way to turn it off. If you are unable to, you will have to contact AppleCare by phone (chat cannot handle account lock outs or forgotten password due to not being able to verify your identity) and see if they can reset it. And are you sure the Apple ID that is coming up yours?

Changed my email (login) now I can't disconnect from the older one

I changed my email on Apple account and now I can't access the older one.
What happens is that how the email has changed it can't find the old one that is settle up on the notebook and iphone.
So I thought about disconnecting from the old email (login) and connecting to the new one.
But the password is not accepted and when I try to make a new one it changes the password linked to the new email!!!!!!!
Don't what to do anymore.

Now, when I try to change the password from the account linked to the old email it doesn't send me an email to do that and don't recognize my safe questions anymore...

AOL email Login problem on Ipad 4, error message reads:
The requested resource (webmail/_cqr/LoginSuccess.apspx) is not available.
Apache Tomcat/7.2.27
If I remove AOL app than re-add it. sometimes I get a day or so before the error message returns.
My Aol email is accessable from my Iphone OK.
Seaches for this error solution have been fuitless.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Windows 8.1 Enterprise joined to Active Directory, shows email login

In Windows 7, I knew how to set the login default domain to Active Directory via the registry. That setting does not seem to have the same effect in Windows 8.1 Enterprise.
I have a tablet joined successfully, and can login without any errors. The only problem I have is when it boots up, or someone logs out, the login screen defaults to the MS Live email login. We do not use that in our Domain, and I want to either disable
that option, or set it to connect to our Active Directory servers as the first option.
I have looked in Local Group Policy, the Registry, etc. and have not found anything that refers to that. Is it something simple that I am just overlooking?

I believe the group policy you are looking for is called "Accounts: Block Microsoft Accounts"

Email login recurring problems

For almost a week when I try to logiin I am getting an error message 'Web site not available' when trying via BT.com. Sometimes it works. Now it is becoming a problem more regularly.
Telephone help said to try via www.mail.yahoo.com - this works.
When is the service to be sorted out or do I abandon BT ofr email entirely?

This work if I copy and paste it to browser. Still does not work if I use yje BT.com - email - login screen this evening. Today OK this morning and afternoon byt not since 1800.
Worked OK after clearing cookies and cache as suggested by another correspondent.
Lets see what happens tomorrow!

New email login page scam advert - Beware.

On 23rd December my other half saw an advert on the new email login page for a 14 day trial of something called RVTL Anti Aging cream, all you had to pay was the postage (£2.99). This is basically a scam as the 14 day clock starts as soon as you click and there is a nasty £95 surprise taken from your credit card 14 days later unless you cancel before. The £95 is not mentioned anywhere you can see it when you place the order.
In our case with Christmas and New Year holidays the product did not even arrive until day 15 so there was no chance to cancel before the deadline. We called their service desk and was told bluntly that the 14 days had expired and they had taken the money. The bank also informed us they could not stop the transaction, although any future ones will be refused.
The company names concerned seem to be Sheridan Labs and JEM Marketing of Cranleigh in Surrey and Equinox Beauties operating from a PO box in Linlithgow. I did a quick search yesterday when we realised what was going on and it seems to be a well known problem. My Norton anti-virus even flags some of their RVTL web pages as unsafe.
I am very surprised and shocked that BT would allow such scammers to operate from the BT mail website and have asked BT for an explanation.

How can I reset the Safari email login settings?

When I first started using my new imac, I made a mistake in the settings for using email. Now everytime that I want to use Safari, I have to enter my email address and password. On my laptop, that is automatically done every time for me.
How can I get bback to the page to correct those settings?

Browser Hijack? New tab to hijacked Yahoo/AT&T email login opens when booting Mozilla

When I boot Mozilla two tabs open rather than one. The second tab is to a hijacked email login page asking for my Yahoo/AT&T email password. This second tab appears every time I boot Mozilla and links to the webpage below. I run Windows XP and have the McAfee suite of security programs that comes with AT&T DSL and have changed my password after it was hacked, but I want to stop the second hijacked tab from appearing, for fear I may mistakenly login there again and disclose my new email password.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Can 2 users have the same email login with different passwords for seperate itunes accounts

My daughter is currently using the home email address for her account and i have just purchased an ipad. I would like a seperate account. Is it possible to use the same email address as the login and have two accounts.

It is possible to have two different Apple ID accounts and have a common contact email address, if that is what you are asking. The potential problem is that the Apple ID is in the form of an email address so it can cause some confusion. It would probably be best to actually own the email addresses that match the account IDs.

Email login problems

logged in to check email first thing this morning no problems. Went to check again after about an hour & had message saying session timed out & asking me to login again.
It now does not recognise userid or password. I have not changed this. Tried to connect with my iPhone & get the same unable to login error.
Worried about what has happened, any advice?

Hi.
There are a couple of reasons for this - it could be one of those random fleeting errors, that can last a few days - or it's part of the problem that has affected many people over the past few weeks.
Try logging into webmail, this has helped some people by somehow triggering a form of "reset" for pop/imap access.

Email login page

Every time I login to my email account I have to re-enter my username and password. I always tick the "remember me" box but it never remembers. Am I missing something?

I'm guessing you have a free-to-anyone Webmail-only FSMail.net email addy. THe Webmail does not remember the username and password for those, while it does for all the other Orange email domains.

OTN Enhancement Request - Changing of OTN email / login name

From what I read it is currently not possible to change the email address / login name of the OTN forum. I would like to request an enhancement for this functionality to be implemented.
It looks to me like the more than 4 year old request for this functionality has gone missing. :-)

Unfortunately it is an id that might connect to an old firm you worked for and more troublesome it can be reused at the old firm.
Strangely enough platforms like LinkedIn and other can handle this kind of changes to the login id.

Droid Bionic - Yahoo email login error

I have received a "like new" replacement for my Droid Bionic. I am trying to add my Yahoo email account. It was working fine on the old phone earlier today. When I try to add the Yahoo account, I go to Setup accounts, there is an icon for Yahoo Mail. I click on that, enter my user name and password, and click next. I get a screen that says "Adding your Yahoo Mail account. After a few seconds I get the message, "Error - Login to the account failed, please try again." I have verified that the user name and password is correct by logging in via the browser on the phone. As stated it worked fine on the other Bionic.

Decided on the Bionic for two reasons..one, the battery can be removed. I was a little leery of a phone you cannot remove the battery from like the Razr. Two, Price. The Bionic had an on-line $50 discount bringing the price down to $99 as opposed to the $199 for the Razr. I love my new phone!! Have been playing with it all afternoon and this morning. No issues yet except my saved music did not transfer to my new phone from my old LG Ally. I only had about 20 songs that were stored on my device. All my other songs were on the cloud player and I have access to them on my new phone so no big deal. Will wait a few months and then buy the car dock. Ordered my screen protector, case and 16Gb Class 10 Micro SD card from Amazon. Should be here tomorrow. The case was recommended because apparently it fits in the car-dock without having to be removed...
