Email - My Verizon Page

There are 2 issues i have with the My Verizon Page and they dont go away:
1.  That message saying 'Action Needed' asking me to verify my email address. What is this? I click on send email verification , then it says sent and I x out and then when I go back in, the message is back.  So it doesnt go away and I dont receive an email message at all.  WHat is it doing exactly????  I have had this email for a long time and have obviously been a Verizon customer forever. Please fix this Verizon.
2.  That Stay Connected popup is annoying. It covers the inbox area so I cant see new messages.
Please dont block the inbox area. I just want to see new message amount there. Please fix that.  I dont want to stay connected.  when i x out, i want it gone forever.  It comes back.
I was told to use netmail.verizon.net, but that changes to the other address anway after i use it so that is not a solution here. Why cant this stuff be fixed?  and when will it be able to keep us signed in??  The solution provided did not work and to just not use the my verizon page is not really a solution anyway.

Sometimes the name and password need to be entered on different pages.
Did you try to enter the name and submit that form?
Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file that stores the cookies got corrupted.
*Rename (or delete) <b>cookies.sqlite</b> (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookies files like <b>cookies.sqlite-journal</b> in the Firefox profile folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

    Make sure that you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the Windows/Mac Accessibility settings.
    Make sure that you allow pages to choose their own colors.

  • How the Heck can you send email to Verizon?!!!

    Is it just me, or have others found an easy way to send a tech support email to Verizon about billing or other issues?  I've used Safari and FireFox and every time I try to get to the page where you can send an email, there is nothing there.  It's like some horrible scam.  Is anyone actually getting through to them?
    Please help if you can.

    Ok, in no way were you told or was it implied that you didn't know what you were doing on some level. You stated you were having a problem. I and another poster stated that we did not have the problem you mentioned. I suggested things that may be going on...obviously an issue exists if some of us are able to access the email page with no issue and you are not. Pointing out that there are documented issues with FireFox (one of the browsers you stated you used) and various websites is an attempt to help you out. You may be an Apple Tech but that has absolutely nothing to do with you having issues accessing a Verizon website  page and possible issues with the browsers and the site in question (last that I checked isn't an Apple browser). At any rate, try going to the following URL: https://www.verizonwireless.com/b2c/contact/email.jsp If that doesn't work for you then perhaps you can find a better solution. Being an Apple Tech as you stated I'm sure you can figure it out without any of my attempts to help you out. Good luck.
    Wow!  How interesting you read all kinds of negative things into my fairly brief reply.  I was just using broad strokes here to let you know that everything was up to date but the site is not kicking out an email form to me in either of the two, up to date browsers I'm using.  As you noted, this has little to do with technical competence and eveything to do with some flaw in the site that puts me in an infinite loop when I try to get a help desk ticket.  You never mentioned which browser you are using, but I'm guessing that it's IE?...  
    Anyway, lest you take umbrage again, let me state clearly that I'm just looking for an answer and while "it's not happening to me" is a partial one indeed, it doesn't solve my problem.  The link you posted is exactly where I end up going, but can't get through. That's what's so puzzling to me.
    I'm grateful for any replies, but please don't take offense because I'm trying to save us all some time.

    The thing that seems to be part of your issue is the browsers you are using and their compatiability with the VZW website. That is why I pointed out the things that I did to begin with. I'm sorry...you responding to possible solutions with " I'm an Apple Tech and know what I'm doing..." came off as if suggesting that you check your browsers and pointing out that a search showed that FireFox has a long list of website compatiability issues was beneath your level of knowledge because you're an Apple Tech and know what you're doing. THAT is what caused the response. You stated that the URL I provided took you to the same place you keep arriving when you try to go to it using the browsers that you are using. The URL works fine for me using IE. Another possible indicator that for whatever reason, the browsers that you are using and the VZW site don't play well together. I stated that I don't use either of the browsers that you listed so I can't troubleshoot those browsers...but perhaps trying a different browser will help you see the form so you can contact VZW as you initially wanted to. If using another browser isn't something you are interested in doing, perhaps doing an internet search about your issue will find fixes for the browsers and site issues...or you might just have to contact VZW via the telephone or go to a store if you can't contact them via the website. Another option you may have is to send a PM to one of the VZW Employees that post on here (you will have to search the forum to try and find one unless there is another way besides looking through the threads to locate one that has posted or doing a search in the search box). Also, I'm not so sure how reliable it might be but you can try going to the VZW Facebook page (if you use FB) and posting a message on there...perhaps whoever runs that page will respond with an alternative way for you to contact someone viz VZW for help. I don't know if providing you with the last email address that I was contacted from a VZW rep will help since I'm not sure if the emails are filtered to specific depts but if you want to try that then just let me know. Otherwise, maybe someone else can chime in and give you some help that you can use.
    Thanks for all the help, but unfortunately IE is not available on the Mac platform and Chrome is not fundamentally different from Safari or FireFox.  Verizon must have built their site entirely on IE webkit if the site really doesn't function properly on anything other than IE.  What a shame.  Anyway, that's also why I alluded to being an Apple tech and using the two major browsers that really are available for us.  I'm still not a Chrome fan (too much distrust of Google, I guess), but I know other Mac people who like it.  They're usually much younger.  ;-)
    Anyway, at this point we've both wasted too much of our time with this and I'll just call.  
    I think the thing that annoyed me the most about the problem was that it seems like VZW is really trying to make it hard for people to find the page to send an email.  Once you finally find it, you can't get it to work if you're using an Apple computer!  In spite of carrying the highly sought after Apple products, they may have designed an entire website that has significant parts not compatible with open source code on which both of those browsers (Safari & FireFox) are based.  
    And they wonder why Steve Jobs went to AT&T first?  ;-)

  • Problem with Go Daddy domain email to Verizon accounts

    I registered a new domain yesterday with Go Daddy. Email works fine coming into the Go Daddy email account, but outgoing email does not reach Verizon accounts. I have spent a lot of time with both Verizon and Go Daddy tech support, but they are scratching their heads.
    Go Daddy confirms emails successfully go to Verizon servers
    Verizon told me my domain name is not on the black list (I submitted a White List Request anyway)
    Email works to all other ISP hosted email accounts
    Email from Verizon to Go Daddy account works fine
    I have checked all junk/spam folders and the emails are not there
    There are no bounceback messages
    Here is the strangest one... one message went through successfully to an individual on Verizon this morning. I sent another to that individual and it worked again... 3 more times. But I cannot reach any other Verizon email customers.
    Can anyone help please?

    IS there anything differnet about the account you are able to send to (maybe they are using the older incoming parameters?

    Any time you are unsure of the legitimacy of a notification like that, go directly to the source. Instead of clicking on any links in the email itself, go directly to verizon.com, sign in, and look at your account. Alternatively, you can call Verizon Billing to verify your account status. They have options for getting ahold of them on teh Contact Us link at the bottom of every page.
    Remeber, it is *always* safer to go directly to company websites yourself than click on links in questionable emails. If the warning is legitimate, you should get the same information.

    THE RECENT CHANGE IN THE VERIZON PAGE REMOVED THE WEATHER ICON WITHOUT A MEANS TO REPLACE IT.  VERIZON CUSTOMER SERVICE SAID IT WOULD RETURN.  WHEN?

    It is an equalizer symbol.  If you press the L key while on a call, the white stars with alternate corners and finally go away.  It will return if you continue to press the L key.

  • Received emails from Verizon - Pictures do not show correctly and strange characters appear in text

    When I receive emails from Verizon users, embedded images do not display inline.  Each image(s) instead is displayed as a empty box with the red X boxed at the upper left.  The images are correctly displayed at the very end of the email.
    Additionally, dotted capital A's appears frequently within the text as well as other extraneous characters and symbols.
    Do I have an incorrect setting in Live Mail (Outlook express displays the same) or is it something Verizon is doing?  All of my other emails from different providers display properly.

    I have the same problem rec eiving from a friend who uses verizon. I use aol and even opened it in Internet Exporer and the same thing happened. This is a programing glitch with verizon email. I get the text in the email but the white squares with an x and no image. I have to downlod the images and open it as an attachment. The problem is you look at the image without the text which might be describing the image. Very inconvient. The person sending the emal has to enable the rich text option . I am still looking on how to do it on Verizon email but since I don't have it I am having trouble finding a solution.

    Only if you copy and past it into the email (and of course it would no longer be a spreadsheet, just text). You can only send files as an attachment not portions of files. you could copy the contents oif the tab into a new file and save it.

    I have been unable to access My Verizon page for almost a month and a half now. It's getting real irritating. The representative on the phone was no help. I reset safari, the cache, and history multiple times, checked between operating systems on my Lenovo on Chrome, Firefox, and god forbid, Internet Explorer. Nothing is working for my account.
    I'm hoping someone else is experiencing my pain so that they know that they are also not the only one who is experiencing this "down-time".
    So, to reiterate, the things that I have done:
    Reset Cache
    Reset Safari
    Reset Browser History
    Reset Cookies
    Tried logging in on three different work computers besides my own
    Tried logging in on my alternate PC
         Through Firefox
         Through Chrome
         Through Internet Explorer
    Drank a lot of alcohol
    What can you guys recommend I do since even Verizon doesn't seem to know what is going on?

  • Not all contacts listed on My Verizon page

    My contacts list on the My Verizon page does not show all of my contacts when selecting to show 'All'. There are two at the end of the list that do not show. However, if I select to show just the contacts starting with the letter W or the letter Z, then these missing contacts will be listed.
    When using Chrome version 28.0.1500.95 m, it will not show me the last two contacts as described above.
    When using Internet Explorer version 10.0.9200.16660 or Firefox version 23.0, it will not show me only the last contact.
    How can I resolve this?

    Interesting.  I was able to duplicate this - I have 255 contacts, and using Chrome, the last two are missing from the "ALL" list but there when clicking on the Y or Z (where those last two are located in the full list).  If I choose "contact Cards" view, I can scroll to ALL of them, but you are right, in the "List" view, the last two are missing.
    Since it seems to be a design error (the generated table containing the data is 34 px taller than the display area, cutting off the last two rows), and a relatively minor one at that, my guess is it won't be addressed any time soon, though I can try to get someone's attention on it.  The resolution would be to use card view or click on the last few letters of the alphabet to view those contacts; they are there, just not viewable in the one configuration.
    You can export the list and all the contacts are there in the export too.

    I have two 4402-50's and I would love to have any alarms be sent to my email or a pager I have so I more closely can monitor the wireless network. Is this possible and where can I configure it?
