Email Name showing up to recipient

I have several email accounts set up on my BB. When I use any of my accounts other than my primary, my name will not show up to the recipient of the email, rather it shows my email address. I can not find a way within the setup options for the addition email accounts to have my name show up rather than my email. I know I must be overlooking something very obvious, who would not have the ability to have a senders name show rather than email.
Any help appreciated.

This should be in the Manage Internet Email setup page. Can you go into that page and edit the settings? If you can't do it from the device try going to your carrier BIS web based setup page.

Is there a way of having the email name show and not the Company name.

I have a few address listing for Companies that have 7 or 8 names.
I have them listed with the custom names for each person separately.
I really do not need separate e-mail listings for each person.
Is there a way that would list the individuals name on the email header and not the Company name.
IOW's : ABC company and a listing for John Smith shows ABC when I mail it.
I gather also that it would show ABC when John Smith received it.
I am trying to give it a more personal touch without creating dozens of additional address's.

Thanks for replying Dan, you're right, I should provide more context.
I want to be able to duplicate a shape inside a layer a number of times, and with every duplicated shape, I want that shape to evaluate what number it is (based on a name I give it so I could name it '1' and then use something like 'eval(propertyname)' to return a number or perhaps use an index to count the number of shapes in the layer) and multiply that number by some set of rules that I can define and control through a list of expression controls on another layer. This would allow me to duplicate a square 10 times and have each square's position do something like
x = thisShapeNumber + shapeLength * TranslateExpressionControl;
y = 0;
[x,y]
which would form a long line of squares for instance. Does that make sense?

i would like to ask how do i send a group email without showing recipient names - without using bcc!
i have seen that peple send group emails and only the only info that appers is the: from and to emails are the same as the sender email.
how do i do that?
isnt there any app for Gmail to do that?

If you address the email to yourself and then put all your recipients in the bcc it appears to each recipient as if they got your email. In other words they will not see anyone else's name or even their own name - just yours.

It sounds like no matter what contact you put into the 'To' field, a different name appears, but the email makes it to the intended recipient. I would recommend a few things here. First, close all the open apps on the device:
iOS: Force an app to close

Double-click the Home button.
Swipe left or right until you have located the app you wish to close.
Swipe the app up to close it.
When you have done that restart the phone:
iOS: Turning off and on (restarting) and resetting

Try iMessaging your own iPhone and see if your account is actually logged in.
It can appear "enabled" and On line but sometimes it is not.
Also try sending from your iPhone (number) to your Apple ID and see if it gets to the Mac.
If it does not use the Sign Out button.
Then shut down the Mac
On restart add back the Apple ID to the iMessages account settings.
I also just checked My wife's iPhone as she popped up red.
It turned out her iPhone did not have Messages On.

In mail, why does entire email address show up instead of just person's name

When I address most emails (to persons who are in my contacts), only their names show up in the "To:" window. But with certain people, their name plus their <full email address> all show up in the window.
I've tried re-entering their names in my contacts. I've tried deleting these names-with-full-email-addresses from the Previous Recipients list. No matter what I do, their name fills in as "First Name Last Name <full email address>" in the "To:" window. I also mail to other clients at the same company and their names just show up as names only -- normal.
Any idea why this is happening, and how I can make it stop?

It's fixed. Not sure why. Maybe one of the things I tried just needed time to take effect. Suddenly, it's working.

Email workflow showing domain and alias and not the name in the email

I created an email workflow for a specific user field value to receive an email on a trigger event.
However, the email received shows the DOMAIN/Alias and not the "Name" in the email content.
How to correct this error? Not sure where is the issue is.
Sample:
Hello [%Current Item: Reviewer%] is the greeting line.
If Reviewer is say Domain A/v-abcd and Name is Abcd.
The email reads
"Hello Domain A/v-abcd" and not "Hello Abcd"

Just select "Display Name" instead of "Login Name" in the "Return field as" field of Lookup dialog.

Name showing on emails

When I receive emails as part of a CC group on my mobile phone, my name on the CC section of the incoming/replying email is not showing up correctly. When I look at the very same email on my laptop, my name is correct - it shows there as "me", and when I hover the mouse cursor over that, it shows my actual email address, correctly. However, what it shows up as on my mobile phone is actually part of the password to that very same email account, which is somewhat alarming!
I have checked all options on that email account for how my name shows, and that is how it should be, and on my mobile phone, all seems correct, too. There is nowhere that shows that part of my password, so I do not understand how it is showing as a "shortcut" to my email address.
I would appreciate help here, thank you, as this is obviously some kind of privacy error.

Settings>Messages>Send & Receive. Make sure you are signed in with your Apple ID and that you phone number appears under "You can be reached by iMessage at" and "Start new conversations from". Then tap your phone number under "Start new conversations from" so it is checked.

Wrong name showing on emails sent from my wife's iPhone 4s. Why?

The tech at the Apple store switched my wife's iPhone 3G to her new 4s at the apple store. Something was entered incorrectly as now all emails sent fron her phone go out wth her name mis-spelled. If she sends an e-mail directly from her Gmail account it sends with the correct e-mail name. If a gmail is sent from her I phone her name shows as mis-spelled. One of the settings on her iPhone is incorrect... but where might that be?

Wrong name shows up attached to my email address when I send mail.

I reply to emails (or send them) and an unaffiliated name show up as sent from or to. For instance, I write an email to a client from my [email protected] email account and instead of showing up as from Sue VonderBecke, it shows up as being from Elaine Abbey! I think it does this on the inklings account and my gmail account but I can't be sure as it only happens sporadically. How do I purge Elaine Abbey from the system?

Tools menu (ALt+T) > account settings.
Click on the account entries and check the display name is corre3ct.
Click on the outgoing server (SMTP) and ensure the correct server is selected for Default.
Finally make sure the gmail SMTP server is for the account you think it is. IF you use a gmail account registered to Elaine Abbey to send mail for another name Google will very helpfully correct the sender.

Previous owners name show up next to my email address- people are starting to wonder!

i have changed all profiles, address book, etc. cant amke it go away or reappear- any other suggestions dont know where else to look. we use an exchange account

Actually I know where you were going and I did have her email address in my files. I have a tracker code at the end so it didn't match but my point is that I think I found the problem.
iPhone to iPhone goes through the phone network and is no problem. When I go from iMessage on my computer to a phone the iMesaage on my computer accesses via the email to the phone. That is why the email address shows up on the phone. We should be able to "Nickname" our account so it shows as something other than an email address.
We have erased all of the conversations on our phones and have started over and it seems to be clearing up the more we use it and understand it's quiky functions.
But thanks for your input. It did help as a piece to the puzzle.

Ipad email problem displaying sent item recipient

I am new to the iPad. Actually its my friend that has one and I am trying to get him up and running with it. We have one question to start with. He uses a PC Laptop for his main machine with an IMAP account so all the mail folders are stored on the ISP's server rather than locally.
IT all works on his iPhone and his new iPad but what we have noticed is in the sent items folder is that on both devices it displays the senders (his) name rather than the recipient on each email. Not very helpful when there are a couple of thousand emails in sent items.
My iphone is pop3 and any sent items show the recipient.
Any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. No, there is no cc set up. It is strange. Its only on his apple devices. His iPhone and iPad both show his name in sent items. The inbox shows who the message is from but none of the sent folders do. In Outlook however on his PC it shows the recipient in all sent folders.
