Email new password problem

Hi
I have recently had to change my BT email password because I got hacked.
I can log into my email online no problem with the new password. I've changed the password, in Windows Live Mail but it only works some of the time. Yesterday all emails were getting through, today it keeps asking for the password - and when I put the new one in it says its not correct.
I've run BT desktop help and it also says the password is not correct. (it is!!)
Any ideas?

I can see your posting now, its in my waiting folder. I have to arrange a trigger for posts with my name on, as there are far too many posts to wade through otherwise
This is an ongoing issue with POP3 access which is unlikely to be fixed, as Yahoo say that the sevice is working within acceptable limits.
Personally I use IMAP access via Thunderbird, and so do many others on this forum. That seems to work fine, perhaps you would like to try it as well as Windows live.

Email and password Problem

Last week I forgot my password so followed the link to set up a new one and BB said it would email me a link so I can change it. i am still waiting for that email. Today I tried again and BB said it would send me a link to my email address. I am still waiting. I know my email address is correct on my BB 8520 because I have been receiving emails from people. How long does it take for BB to send emails? It also asks me for my password on myPlaybook.  If any one replies please keep it simple as I am not a computer person.

Again, the email will not come to your BB. If you set up your BB ID as one that used an email address that you can only access via your BB, then you indeed have a problem and should contact your mobile network provider for formal support...only they can escalate you into RIM to actually reset your BB ID.

Email setup password problem

I am trying to set up a new email address but I am running into problems with my password for existing users. It is not taking my password, and when I select 'forgot password' and enter my username, it give me an error that says 'your device encountered a problem with this application's server. Select OK and repeat the action to try again.' The problem is that I have repeated the action REPEATEDLY with no success. Any ideas?

ICloud email account password problems

After initial password and login problems my iCloud email account now works fine in most cases.
When I create an email account on a mobile phone however...
Sadly my company phone is a Windows Mobile Device, and it finds all the right info, I add the username and password correctly, but a 'wrong password' message displays after it tries to synchronise mail. Any ideas anyone?

EMail Address & Password Problem

I have about six EMail addresses and I have set each up as a seperate account on my N9 and, mostly, it works fine.
I have two iCoud addresses; one works and the other fails everytime - it generates an error message that "either the username or password are incorrect"; they are not.
Both accounts were set up automatically on the phone with the Accounts app. I have checked and the settings for each, except the username and password, are the same.
Any suggestions to get both working?

Hotmail advised me to delete all contacts and change the password for that account, which I did on my laptop running windows XP. The change was successful and I was able to send and receive emails with no problem. I then had to change the account password on my iPhone 4s, which I did and it too was successful but when I came to change the password on my iMac, running the latest version of Lion it would not recognise the new password. I have tried to remove the account details and re-install but every time I go to add new account my old details are in the box. This is very frustrating as I use my iMac for all my profects and I need to access my email. Please help.

I had already deleted all reference to the hotmail account in question from the keychain access app, I have also tried to delete and re-instal the account details from within mail. The icon in the side bar dissapears but when I go to Add Account, the old account details are in the new account box. I then input my new password but am told that the server does not recognise it. If I access hotmail via google on the iMac I can get into my account with no problems. I am thinking there must be some other form of security system within the mac software that is blocking the new password. This is driving me nuts. I have been trying to resolve this for the last two days. Thank you for your advise anyway.

This may work, try deleting the Yahoo email account from your phone and then re-add it, using your new Yahoo password.
If that doesn't work, log into your Yahoo account from a computer and double-check that you are entering the correct password. Also, your password may be case sensitive, so enter it into your iPhone the exact the same way you created it.

I changed my apple ID email address and now all my devices are signed in under the old apple ID, but it wont let me change the icould account on any without a password. The problem is my new password for the new apple ID won't work or the old? help!!!!

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing with iCloud on your devices after updating your Apple ID. I recommend the following steps:
Symptoms
iOS 7 may ask for the password to your previous Apple ID when you sign out of iCloud.
Resolution
1. Use your current Apple ID password
Trying using your current Apple ID password. If that doesn't work, continue to the next step.
2. Sign out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime
If you are currently signed in to iMessage or FaceTime
If you are not signed in to iMessage or FaceTime
3. Change your Apple ID temporarily
If signing out and back in to iMessage or FaceTime didn't work, try these steps:
Change your Apple ID to the Apple ID you used previously. You shouldn't need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud and try to sign out.
Change your Apple ID to the new email address that you want to use. You'll need to verify the email address.
Tap Settings > iCloud and sign in with the new Apple ID.

Delete the account on your phone & iPad. Then set them up again.

Thanks for the question. You'll want to delete and re-add your iCloud account (utilizing the new Apple ID address). When prompted, opt to keep as much information on your device as possible. The following article provides information on how to do so:

Depending on whether you want to stop using iCloud on all or only some devices, do one or more of the following:

TThat's the problem. I've tried to delete the current icloud account but in order to that you need to put in the old password which I don't have so it kicks me out.

I did delete the email account but still no incoming emails. Instead it's downloading thousands of emails but ONLY the junk emails were retrieved.
