Email not downloading on ipad

last download was yesterday.  able to send email.  I have new email as I've seen it on iPhone. 

You're welcome (I guess ) I figured as much. Doesn't always. Password update through web I presume. Browser & other devices are unaffected. The only other actions you can take are:
Wait - if it is like what happened back in January, it takes action by Yahoo on the account - Yahoo has had a systematic program to do what they do sonce that time - it may be that something they do caused your issue & it takes a 2nd step, I am ignorant of their program other than they are doing it.
Contact YMail support (good luck - I have tried on another issue & was unsatisfied)
If you MUST have your email on that device, set up a Filter on YMailWeb to Forward to another email account - another YMail MAY be adequate - this should not affect your other devices since you are Forwarding and leaving the originals alone
It may sound basic, but have you tried reset/restart? Restore to factory? (Back up firstI)

    Have you added yout email account to the iPad? (Settings, Mail Contacts Calendars, Accounts, Add New Account).
    If so, you need to go to your account in Outlook on your PC and change the settings so as to leave a copy of your email on your providers server for a certain number of days (say 25) in order to receive copies of them on your iPad. Each time your iPad connects with the server in due course (as with your PC) it will download any emails not previously downloaded.

  • App will not download to iPad when purchased from App Store - stuck with Cloud icon

    Device : iPad Air 32gb wi-fi model (not cellular data)
    OS version : 7.1.1 (up to date)
    Location : UK
    Problem : App will not download to iPad when purchased from App Store - stuck with Cloud icon
    Last night I tried to download an app over wi-fi onto my iPad Air, but the app did not install.
    I have plenty of space (the app is 24.1mb, I have 3.4gb free space) and there are no restrictions whatsoever on my iPad - no blocks on App store purchases, no age-related restrictions, no country restrictions etc.
    Normally from the App Store page you would tap the price (in this case the app was free), enter your iTunes password, and the app would download.
    Also a new icon appears on the home screen and a circle shows the progress of the download.
    However this did not happen.
    Instead I have the Cloud icon (the one that shows when you have bought an app but it is not currently installed on your device) and a message that says "You've already purchased this, so it will be downloaded now at no additional cost".
    If I press OK I am then prompted to enter my iTunes password, the Cloud symbol briefly changes to a circle (and I mean for a split-second, like the blink of an eye) and then the Cloud symbol appears again.
    The app does not download - in fact it does not even *attempt* to download.
    I have tried this >20 times now and it always occurs excatly like this.
    After Googling this problem (which seems common) and reading over a dozen threads on this forum plus Apple's own official support pages, this is what I've tried:
    I can re-download other apps that I have previously purchased on this iPad, with no problems.
    I purchased another app on my iPhone 5 and was then able to download onto my iPad with no problems.
    I have reset my iPad >5 times - both by pressing/holding the home/power buttons, and also a full switch off and restart.
    I have logged out of my iTunes account on the iPad, and logged back in.
    The wi-fi is Virgin Media fibre optic broadband with a verified speed of 20 meg (confirmed by Speedtest) plus an 802.11-n Belkin router and my iPad will happily load web pages, stream videos on YouTube, download other apps etc.
    I have reset/rebooted my internet connection
    In an attempt to eliminate by broadband connection from the possible causes, I have switched off my router, linked my iPad to the hotspot feature on my iPhone and tried to download the app over cellular data, but still cannot download the app.
    I have tried on 2 other wi-fi networks but still cannot download this one app.
    My iTunes account has a cerdit balance from an iTunes card, but the app was free anyway
    Nothing I try will download the app in question.
    The app is iPad only, so I cannot install on my iPhone to try and kick-start the process.
    I guess I could install the app on my computer and then sync the iPad, but that's *working around* the problem - it's not *fixing* the problem.
    (Since getting the iPad I use almost never use my computer. And anyway what if I did not have a computer? Didn't iOS go "PC-free" with version 5?)
    I would like to call Apple but my 90-day telephone support has expired (the iPad is around 6 months old) and I don't want to buy Apple Care for this one problem.
    I can't make it to an Apple Store to speak to a Genius.
    Bearing in mind the list of things I've already tried, what do I do next?

    No need to apologize, I actually found the phrase "If your iPad ever craps the bed" amusing under the circumstances
    I checked the list of installed apps like you suggested (Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Show all apps) but this problem app is not in the list. I have also swiped down on the home screen to search for it, but again it does not show.
    While it has not let me download the app (and I just tried it again) it has helped me to eliminate a few things from the list of what to try, and I can definitely conclude that it has not downloaded.
    I guess I need to fire up my PC and download it / sync my iPad.

    Perform a "hard reset" on the device by pressing down and holding the home button and the sleep/wake button for up to 30secs. until you see a black screen with the Apple logo, then release.
    Then test to see if it solved the problem.

    This happens to me too from time to time.  Seems to be connected to the size of the download attached to the mail and the fact that you are using the mobile data network. Try to use Wi-Fi instead, this works for me.

    I had similar problem - emails stopped downloading to my BT Internet account on iPhone. I picked up Jumbo's tip (to delete BT Internet account from iPhone and) and add under Yahoo! - it worked! Not at all sure how this happened, but annoyed that BT and/or Yahoo! playing silly beggars with my account. Does not give me confidence! Grateful for Jumbo's tip, anyway, as it was driving me nuts not being able to pick up mail on iPhone for about a week.

    We are using SAP CRM Sales mobile 2.0.x app on iPad devices. We are facing an issue with attachments.
    When we add attachments to transactions, they are not downloaded to device. I can see the attachment information on the transaction as in the screenshot below but when I click on it, says 'Download in progess' and it never finishes.
    Attachment functionality is enabled for transactions in SPRO, ENABLE_ATTACHMENT_INLINE parameter is set to X in DOE. Size of the attachment is also less than the size set in SPRO Attachment settings.
    What else could be the issue for attachments not downloading to device?

    I am facing big problem while setting up the sap crm sales 2.0 with sybase.
    Landscape is as:
    1. CRM 7.0 + MOB_CRMS200
    2. SAP NetWeaver Mobile SP07 
    3. SUP 2.1 with ESD#2
    4. iOS/Windows Laptop.
    I will share the steps which i followed:
    1. Setting up CRM with add-on as per document which came with this application.
    2. setting up the Netweaver Mobile as per document.
    3.In SCC--> Created the Security, Domain and application id as per document.
    4. In ESDMA Bundle i copied the sup-db.xml file and mentioned sup listener url:
    'http://<SUP ip Addr'>:8000/doe/publish'
    and i followed the Note 1655954.
    5. In Utility Command Line its giving the default URL as:
    'iiop://<sup id addr>:2000'
    Clicked enter-->asked for supAdmin password...provided-->then asked for domain-->security-->location of ESDMA Bundle (which we copied and copied sup-db.xml in that)
    then provided the application id as: sap_crm.
    then provided the SAP Technical username and password (which is maintained same in CRM and Netweaver Mobile).
    its showing the deployment successfully.
    But when i register the device in SCC using all this details , the device is not coming online.
    But when i used the default domain, the user is coming online. but its not coming with the domain which we have created.
    Note: As per troubleshoot document the path which is mentioned there its not getting created as follows:
    UnwiredPlatform/InstallLogs/silentInstall/CRM/CRM_ESDMATMP/META-INF.
    My question is what is the  Domain and Security used for, and whatever steps i have followed whether those are correct or not.
    Please help.
    This issue is very critical.

    Thank you. Before you tried to help. I decided I had not turned my ipad off in a few days, so I tried that. Didn't work, so I closed all opened stuff, considered clearing cache, but was not ready to close this help place so didn't do that. I tried once more since closing everything including this help place, which included closing safari where I had logged into my mail when not connecting to the server on ipad. So then tried the iPad mail once more, HAD TO RESIGN IN ON THE IPAD then mail came up, so we will see how long that lasts. But thank you for giving me a suggestion to try.

    , iPhone and iPad. Anyway, I went to access my email on my ipad after I changed my password, and it asked to verify the password which I did and it doesn't recognize it. So, I remove the email account on the ipad and try to set it up again and it still does not recognize it. I tried the old password too but that didn't work.     If the affected email account is provided by your Internet provider, see if your issue is resolved while connected to your home Wi-Fi network.*
    Log in to your email provider's website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.
    Restart your iOS device.
    Delete the affected email account from your device.
    Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
    Choose the affected email account, then tap Delete Account.
    Add your account again.
