Email Not Forwarding

Hello,
My iCloud accounts are not forwarding. Any ideas? You can forward to an outside domain. Correct?

    When I set my icloud email preferences to forward to another address, it is multiplying the messages 6x in my icloud inbox, and NOT forwarding them as indicated to the new address I have set.  Why is that happening, and how can I fix it? 

    Yes it occurs on the Webmail interface.

    For those following...  A solution was located in a google search:
    Those having this problem, please use the Finder to open Home/Library/Mail and locate the file named MessageUidsAlreadyDownloaded3. Use Get Info to see when this file was last updated -- should be after the last time new messages were downloaded?
    Quitting Mail and removing this file, and then relaunching Mail will result in a freshening of the file, if it has become corrupted, but will once more download everything still on the server. But hopefully for the last time.

  • Group emails not forwarded to members

    Since upgrading to Yosemite and Server 4 I am no longer receiving any emails sent to my groups, which have emails configured. The following are screenshots of the configuration (I believe it is configured correctly, as it was updated from Server 3):
    I do believe emails are getting delivered, as I am not getting any bounce errors when sending from gmail or iCloud to these two addresses. However, I am not getting any notifications for the two members of this group.
    Any thoughts what might be going on here or how I might troubleshoot this?

    I haven't heard back from them, despite calling them back. I did speak with another tech a week or so ago, but he wasn't able to figure anything out either. Turns out the Enterprise Support team only helps troubleshoot the GUI, and they aren't allowed to do anything intrusive on the command line (apparently). However, I have been able to figure out that the mail queue is being help up by corrupt emails. I'm not sure what triggers this, but certain emails cause listserver to crash and restart. Those emails never get processed, and thus cause an endless loop of listserver restarting and pausing for 30 seconds until next restart, instead of processing. To get around this, I remove the oldest emails one by one until the queue is unclogged again.
    These are the steps I take:
    Open terminal, and cd into the listserver directory where the inbound list queues are:
    cd /Library/Server/Mail/Data/listserver/messages/inbound/
    Show a listing of the folders in the directory (the GUIDS for each group):
    ls -la
    Check the first number in front of the username of the folder in the output for the number of items contained within that directory. If the number is greater than 3, there are items stuck. Go into that directory now (you can type "cd " then the first 3 characters, then TAB to autocomplete), for example:
    cd 1FDBZ1DB-9AAD-4A45-BCC7-92D87C5A1D19
    Let's enter super user mode:
    sudo su
    Now list out all the messages, the first one will be the oldest:
    ls -la
    Let's create a new folder on the Desktop to temporarily store these "bad" messages:
    mkdir /Users/serveradmin/Desktop/badmails
    Then lets move the first email to that folder, for example:
    mv 1416492706.772710.C6A2EEF49ED40002.msg /Users/serveradmin/Desktop/badmails/
    Now lets restart listserver and see if it flushes out the queue:
    killall list_server_mgr
    Emails should now start flooding your inbox. If this is not the case, repeat steps 5 through 8 until successful.
    Exit super user mode by typing:
    exit
    And close the terminal window.
    Until they fix it, it appears we may be forced to check our group emails every so often to perform this tedious task. Let me know how it works for you.

    I would just explain that this just started happening, that nothing has changed on the phone, that it is an original iPhone and I wondered if they are implementing a change in coverage with their Edge network in my area.
    If you restore your phone, you will be given an option to back up your phone at the beginning of the process (see step 6 here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414).  You will be given the option to restore to that backup at the end of the restore process.  Your messages are stored in the backup so restoring to the backup will return the messages to your phone.  Be sure to import your photos and videos to your computer (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083) and back up your contacts somewhere before restoring your phone as these sometimesget lost in the restore process.

  • Emails Not Being Forwarded in a non-wireless environment...

    This is very strange and I'm not sure if it's something I did or if there's something wrong with my phone.. 
    I have my emails forwarded from my AOL account using TMobile's service.  Up until now, I've not had any problems.. 
    I also have my WiFi turned on in several locations which I frequent (my home, office and Starbucks).  What is happening is my phone is not forwarding ANY of my emails, texts or PINs unless I'm in one of these WiFi locations.  I've checked all of my connections and both my Mobile Network as well as my WiFi connections are both turned on.  
    I've tried resetting the phone many times, I've even recreated my email addresses in Blackberry Internet Service and still, NO EMAILS unless I'm within WiFi range.. 
    Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?  Did I accidentally switch something off or on that I shouldn't have that is blocking my email, texts & PINs?

    You said you've reset your phone? Did you remove the battery and reboot it?
    With the BlackBerry device powered ON, remove the battery a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to reboot.
    Try also removing/deleting your Service Books for email accounts at Options > Advanced > Servcie Books, then readding them from your BIS account login.
    Resend your service books from your carrier BIS site.

  • Public Folders Assistant not forwarding and replying to emails

    Hi All,
    We have an issues with our Public Folders Assistant not forwarding and replying to any emails. This was working with EX2007 for 6 years and EX2013 for the last year. All of the sudden all of the mail enabled PF stopped working. We can receive emails but
    that is it. Can't find any event logs pertaining to this issue. We have not installed any Windows or Exchange updates prior to this happening. We use Office 2010 and 2013.

    Do you have public folders in Exchange 2007?
    In Exchange 2007, you can increase logging level for "MSExchangeIS\9001 Public\Rules" to a higher level. In Exchange 2013, this event is removed.
    Besides, please try to change the conditions for public folder assistant rule to check result.

  • Email from specific email not being forwarded to BB

    Since I have set up my owa email account on the BB, using BIS, there are emails I am unable to receive from specific users on the BB.  These users are within the same domain as me and the emails are in my inbox when I log in to my account through IE.  I also use an IMAP account on the BB and those users are copying that email and those emails are forwarded to the BB via that email, but not my email via OWA.  Has anyone had this issue before, does anyone have any kind of solution to this problem? 
    We have already deleted and readded the email on the BB and nothing is working....

    Hi, I currently have bigpond forward my emails to another non bigpond address, however not all emails get forwarded. For example and emails from facebook are not forwarded, they are in my webmail inbox, but go through to my other address. Other emails are forwarded with no issues ? My bigpond webmail is still on the old system (MyConnect ?) Any suggestions ? Thanks

    Have you considered setting your current provider to 'pull' all the email from your Bigpond box rather than relying on Bigpond to 'push' it out?
    Most providers have a relatively simple process for fetching mail from other boxes by either POP or IMAP.

  • When I reply or forward a message with an attachment the attachment does not forward with the email

    Someone sent a message with an attachment. I replied but the attachment doesn't show in my reply. I want to be sure the attachment goes with the reply.

    Unfortunately Micrisift have difficulty with understanding standards so they make mail programs that do not correctly encode attachments. Thunderbird can display them, but not forward defective mime encoding. This is a conscious decision of the developers, they are not spreading what they see as defective mail.
    Forward such mail as an attachment. It is on the message menu (Alt + M) on on the drop down beside the forward button.

    the btinternet.com emil address that I asked for and was sown in the registration email when I applied for BT Broadband has not yet been set up.
    When I try to login in I get "This ID is not yet taken." or when I try to get e new password it says that the email does not exist.
    We registered on 2nd August, got a new line on 10th, Infinity on the 15th due to a delay, and then our old number was restored on the 24th. When we called the help desk on the 18th or so, we were told that it was because the order was open ( for the number restoration). That is now closed.
    The broadband service is amazing by the way.
    I appreciate that the services provided by BT are divided amongst several companies, but there seems to be a teeny break in communications somewhere that stops the email accounts being set up on schedule.
    I tried calling 0800 111 4567 but couldn't break the IVR maze to get to someone to talk to.
    What is the best way forward please, I want to set up BTFON and check out the security software!

  • Droid RazR Maxx - pop email not working (with Comcast)

    On 10/14/2014 my phone starting giving me a message "couldn't sign in" message saying username or password invalid. However, I have used the same username/password via the web and other email clients, so that is NOT the problem. I've searched and searched but have not found anything. I called Comcast and they said they could reset my password, which obviously isn't the problem, and if that didn't work to call Verizon. I've completely removed the email account and tried to setup again and now it gives me the same message during the incoming setup process.
    Anybody else experiencing this problem? It's been 2.5 days and no luck resolving despite many attempts.

    Oh no! Sorry that your Comcast email isn't working. I had to do some research on this one myself. As an Android user, and someone who knows a decent amount about this type of stuff, I was stumped. So I reached out to Comcast myself as well. They advised to use the Xfinity App that is available in Google Playstore and sign in with the App to receive all the Emails going forward. This is also listed as an option in Xfinity Website Support Page. Were you previously just using the email app that came with the phone? Try the Xfinty App and see if that works.

  • Mail attachments in lion not forwarding

    Hi Everyone!
    It seems when I go to forward and email containing an attachment they are being stripped out and not forwarding with the mail ( I can see the attachment is not there) Is there a setting for this? or how can I fix this issue. I want all my attachments to send with the email automatically. I have been using redirect to workaround the issue but then the email does not look to others like it has come from me.

    I just tried it with a 25kb attachment and it is not there it just shows this <image001.jpg>
    It may only be certain images that do this, as I tried with a few others and some do and some don't? Weird.

  • Curve 8330 SMS/MMS not forwarding..PLEASE HELP!

    Hello...I have had my new Curve 8330, software version 4.5.0.77 for about 3 weeks and I am unable to forward any SMS/MMS messages that I receive.  After I read the message, I click on the berry or the center scroll button and click on forward and nothing happens.  It just stays on the message and does not go to my contacts so I can choose who to forward it to.  I've even tried going out of the actual message to my message list and choosing it that way and it still does not forward.  I can forward email messages though?  I thought maybe I needed a software upgrade, but apparently I have the current version?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!  Thanks! smileyhappy:

    What happens if you change the SMS and MMS setting to combine them back into your Messages list. Does it still look the same?
    In the extreme case we could always clear the Messages database and see if new ones from that point are behaving the same way.
