Email notification for instance activation not working - SAP BPC 7.5

Hello Everybody,
I have a problem with email notification in SAP BPC 7.5.
I want to configure an email notification to whenever an instance is activated.
I have followed one How-To guide and basically I have created and activated a template in SAP GUI with transaction se38 and a program called UJB_MAINTAIN_EMAIL_TMPL.
Also, the web server was configured by systems admin.
But still is not working.
I am completely new with SAP BPC so I donu2019t know what more can I do to solve the problem.
Hope you can help me.
Regards,
Nadine

  • Email notification for FF Controller not working

    Hi Guys,
I have followed the FF User guide and have successfully setup FF in out Sandbox system. I have created the RFC, background job, FF's ID with Roles assigned..all according to the User Guide.
In the configuration table, I setup "Send FireFighterId Login Notifcation" to "Yes". Thuis should trigger an email notification to the Controller. However, being the Controller, I did not receive any email notification when a FF (the FF ID has the relationship to the FF ID Controller, with Usage Flag Inofrmation as Email) logs in.
Anyone has any idea where I should troubleshoot?
I check SCOT and SMTP was setup was ok.
    Thanks.
    Raymond

    Hi Guys,
I trace back into the background job and I have the below (in the situation where a FF ID login to system to execute some changes).
Job log overview for job:    /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK / 12341222
    Date                   Time         Message text
    03.10.2008         12:34:12    Job started
    03.10.2008         12:34:13    Step 001 started (program /VIRSA/ZVFATBAK, variant &0000000000010, user ID CUA_BATCH)
    03.10.2008         12:34:24    Job finished
As you can see, the job does trigger and the steps are executed.
From the Job Spool via the above Job log:
FirefighterID          Date         Time                 Server Name               Transaction Code
    FF_SD1         03.10.2008     11:33:26       hwuu0XX_GX1_XX
    FF_SD1         03.10.2008     11:33:28       hwuu0XX_GX1_XX                   SU01
    FF_SD1         03.10.2008     11:33:41       hwuu0XX_GX1_XX
Thus, the above shows that the background job does log the activities for the FF ID used. However, I do not see any trace of email notificationa ctivities mentioned in the background job log, which states that an email was trigger.
If anyone does have the same situation, I would appreciated that you can show me a copy of your background job log, so that I can see if the steps taken are the same for email notification activated for FF.
    Any suggestions?

  • Email notifications for priority senders not working anymore

I recently just received a replacement galaxy s4 from asurion. On my old s4, I was able to select a ringtone and vibration notification for an email address I had added to the Priority Sender List. With this new phone I have vibration selected and a ringtone selected for this priority sender, but it still comes in silent. I tried adding another one of my email accounts to this priority sender list with the same notification settings, and it too still comes in silent. My master phone volume settings are set to vibrate (for calls and text messages). Any suggestions as to how I can fix this? I have already tried pulling the battery, doing a factory reset, deleting my email account then setting it up again, as well as updating my overall phone software to Android 4.4.2 build number KOT49H.I545VRUNC5 (the latest software update).

We appreciate you taking the time to contact us, prettycutejamie.
The good news is that you currently have the lasest software version installed. You have also done quite a bit of troubleshooting. Does this only happen with email notifications?
I take it the sound/vibe does work for the calls & texts?

  • Email notifications on iphone 5 not working

Email notifications not working on iphone 5 but worked fine on 4

Hi, well I have been on chat line with Apple for hours today on this issue, finally being directed to a Senior Advisor.  The problem, after working through all the settings on my iphone since updating to 8.1.3, was in Settings, Mail, Accounts and Fetch New Data.  One of my email addresses (the one I use all the time)  had not got mail attached to it and manually fetch mail was selected and now it is ok, having added a new account to include the email address and fetch email every 15 minutes.  So all sorted now.  Thank you for your help anyway.  Much appreciated.

  • Email notification in approval task not working

    Hi Experts,
We are trying to use email templates, to trigger emails for role requests on Approval task as below.
As if we raised request to the role, It is triggering the Notification Task, executing the Log Notification task in Provisioning frame work, but not triggering Email, From notification switch task, it is going to Else statement as Unknown notification type instead of Email.
When I checked the table mxpv_audit_variables with the request audit id, no entry created.
Can please suggest how to fix this,
    Many Thanks,
    Jaya

    Hi Chris,
Thank you very much for your reply.
We are forming the work flow like this.
First we are setting the Manager as approver.
If assigner=manager, it should do auto approval.
    we configured auto approval.
but the problem is after auto approval, for notification we are writing a job, instead of using assignment notification.
is this possible to sent autoapproval mail without writing separate job?
    Regards,
    Jaya

  • Push notifications for specific apps not working even though the badge updates (Facebook, Google  etc.)

So this has been happening for months now. I was expecting iOS 5 to fix it, but it hasn't. Push notifications for specific apps do not work. Some come through just fine, but Facebook and Google+ in particular don't work correctly. Facebook push notifications seem to work when the notification is generated from an action performed on a mobile device (ie: someone writes on my wall from another iPhone); if they do the same thing on the desktop, the notification doesn't seem to come through.
As for Google+, I've never seen a single push notification come through as it should, even though I've seen other iPhones with the same app reciving these notifications with no issue.
This is particularly strange because the badge on the app icon usually updates (though it feels like fetch, not push), but the notifications simply don't make it into the notification center (or on the lock screen as they should). As I said, this has been happening for months, long before iOS 5, and the problem has persisted now that I'm running iOS 5.
I've checked and rechecked all notifiation settings for these apps. I've uninstalled and reinstalled them. I've called Apple support and they couldn't offer me any help. Does anyone have any idea what's going on here?
    Thanks for your time.

I got an iPhone 4s and I'm experiencing the same problems.  I used facebook messenger, and used to get the push notifications to that app, but now that i've deleted it I no longer get the messages directly to the facebook app.
I have push on in the mail settings and notification center for facebook are on as well.  I also have push notifications on in the settings for facebook.
I've tried deleting the app and reinstalling, no fix.  I haven't tried a hard reset yet.
So far, I figured out that it's not iOS or the facebook app, somehow it is a problem with my account.  I logged into my wife's account on my iphone and her account is able to recieve push notifications to my iphone.
    Any thoughts?

  • My push notifications for Facebook are not working for the iPhone 5.

All the sounds are working except for Facebook. I have enabled all the settings for the push notifications but they still do not work. I do get alerts but no sound. Please advise.

We are all in the same situation. It is very annoying. We have to get people to let Apple and Facebook know. It is not my phones (I have a 4 and a 5), because Facely HD, which is an app that accesses Facebook, works fine as does everything on both phone (native functions, native apps and non-native apps).

  • FN + F3 for WiFi Activation Not Working

    Hello,
I'm using an Acer Switch 10 Tablet PC. I made a mistake of removing the tablet from the keyboard while playing a game. After that, my fn + f3 for turning on and turning off the wifi and my fn + f7 for turning on and off the touchpad doesn't work
anymore. The other functions however are still working though. Did I break my laptop? If not, what can I do about it?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
I would suggest you first locate the function lock key on your laptop then press it and after that try F3 and Fn key together.
    Refer:
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Type-without-using-the-keyboard-On-Screen-Keyboard
If the issue still persists, let's try to clear wireless network, to see what's going on:
Type manage wireless network in Start Search, and click "manage wireless network", DELETE all the network there.
Press Fn+F3 to see if it can work fine.
    Then reconfigure your wireless connection.

  • Email notification for MeetingPlace not being received

Client has MeetingPlace 7.1.1 installed. Outlook email notification for MeetingPlace stopped working.
Problem symptom:  When users try to schedule a meeting from web server page, both scheduler and invitee do not receive email notifcaiton in their email account.  But email notification for MeetingPlace works when users schedule meeting from MeetingPlace for Outlook Plug-in regardlessly.
I've run a test with client, meeting creation is successful. But as soon as user finishs creation meeting, email notification is "Queued for delivery" in Email Notification Report in MeetingPlace App Admin page. I checked all possible settings in MeetingPlace Administration page, nothing looks wrong - correct email address account and type in user profile; SMTP server is properly configured and passes tha test; SMTP server is up and runnin.
I'm stumped after deep research online, did not go anywhere. Can someone point out where could possible go wrong and how to fix this issue??
    Fei

Email notification works differently depending on where the scheduling is done. When done from Outlook your Outlook client sends the request directly to Exchange. When scheduling from the web the invite is held in a mailbox on the Application Server and periodically the system tries to send the email to its mailbox on Exchange.  Since the issues is with meetings scheduled via the web interface there is an issue with MP talking to Exchange.  I assume the users scheduling from the web have Outlook selected in their profile. This is the first place to check. Next I would look at the Outlook settings in MP. Make sure the MP mailbox is still in Exchange and that the user name and password is correct for the Exchange mailbox. This is usually where the issue is. Also make sure that SSL has not become a requirement to talk with Exchange.
Let me know if you have any questions.

  • E7-00 activating email notifications for one speci...

My personal email has been setup through the built-in email client, and my corporate email through Notes Traveler. I'm running S^3 Anna, with Traveler 8.5.3.
What I want to do is to just receive notifications for new emails on my personal email account, and deactivate the notifications from emails arriving to Traveler. This is something that worked in the past with my old E71-2, where I could select which email account could notify me, and it worked perfectly for me due to the deluge of work related emails.
On the E71 device I had the Nokia email app for my personal email instead of using the built-in email client. This app appears that is no longer available to download, so I had to use the built-in email client that comes with the E7-00.
I've looked everywhere on the phone, and appears that there is only two choices:
    a) Disable email notifications for all email accounts
    b) Enable notifications for all accounts.
If anyone has any idea how to selectively configure email notifications in a E7 the way it was able to do in my E71, I would greatly appreciate it.

e7 does NOT have email notifications. You just have to place the pers acc widget on the homescreen. E7 does NOT have options to configure def acc either. Push works on LT & MFE but NM push does NOT either. Anna makes all these things worse. Good luck.

  • Email Notification for Sub-Folders on a Samsung Note 2 device

My company recently switched to an internal Exchange Server.  I have a Samsung Note 2 phone.  In my Outlook, I have many Sub-folders that I use along with rules so that as email comes in, it is automatically placed in the Sub-folder.  When
this happens, there is no notification on the Note 2 device that an email has come in.  Nor does it download until I manually drill down on the phone to that particular folder.  The long and short of it is I am not getting notified of these emails.
Is there a setting either on the phone or in Exchange that needs to be adjusted?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
According to your description, you need a email notification for sub-folder.
And you can try the following workaround:
Add the condition “display a Desktop Alert” in the Outlook rule which you have apply to the sub-folder.
If you have any question, please feel free to let me know.
    Thanks,
