Email Notifications for UWL Tasks and Collaboration Tasks

Hi,
I want to configure Email Notifications for both UWL Tasks and Collaboration Tasks.
I done with the all the Configurations suggested in the below link:

But Email Notifications are not reaching the users Lotus Mail ID. Could any one please suggest me that i am missing any Configurations.

Email notification for uwl task recipient

Hi all,
there will be no email notification sent, when a user receives a new task from the adhoc workflow of the portal. At http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/89/a91f40337d436aba318fb4920437db/content.htm I read, that only the tracker of the task get a notification:
"...The Java Workflow can provide notifications using either the KM notification service or the JavaMail transport service. Notifications are sent to the tracker(s) of a task..."
Does anybody know, if there is a possibility to send a notification to the recipient, so that he knows that he got a task? without that, the notification is useless I think!

You can send notifications to a list of recipients.

Email notifications for UWL items from the GP System

Hi,
How can I activate the notifications for tasks created in UWL, but by connector type?
I know that the notifications can be activated in System Administration » System Configuration » UWL » Workflow » Engine | Mail, the problem is this will be applied to all notifications from all connectors, and I only want to apply to connector of Guided Procedures, and not to tasks to connector of ECC system.

I'm not aware of any setting to prevent the Apple's receipt to be sent.
If you bought a mix of purchase item and free item, the will appears on the same receipt. Instead of considering them as spam, you can consider them as "a way to recall which apps you dowloaded in case something wrong happen".
Personally, I have created a folder called "receipts" and simply send these mails to this folder.

Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are Not going to Lotus Notes

Hello Everyone,
Email Notifications for the Tasks in Collaboration are not going to Lotus Notes. We are working on EP 7.0 SP14 with external ITS and backend r/3 4.7.
I performed all the configuration activities that are suggested in the below wiki:

It was worked fine once for me when i perfomed the activities mentioned in the below thread:https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/thread?threadID=147316
But after restarting our Portal Server the Email Notifications for Collaboration Tasks are not coming.
Could any one please suggest that we need to do any other configurations.Thank you.

Extended Notification for UWL + Change the description of task/workitem

Hi,
I have implemented the Extended notification for UWL and I am getting the emails in outlook. Now the requirement is to customize the body of the email completely for the task '12300096'.
I have tried going to PFTC->Description but it does not have full text which I am getting in the email. I tried SE63 also. But in the email I am getting
The following work item requires processing in your SAP Workflow inbox in system xxx.
<Task description>
Log on to this system and process the work item.
If you have problems logging on to the system, contact your system administrator.
Now I want to remove the following lines;
The following work item requires processing in your SAP Workflow inbox in system xxx.
Log on to this system and process the work item.
If you have problems logging on to the system, contact your system administrator.
I don't find from where it's coming - please let me know how to remove these lines so that I can add my text in SE63.

Go to SWNCONFIG -> General settings.
There you have TEXT_GOTO_INBOX - DTSWN_MSG_GOTO_INBOX. (I am not sure if this was the correct one, but you should check all the texts in general settings, if this was not the correct one.)
Now open dialog text SWN_MSG_GOTO_INBOX in SE61 (you see that you need to remove the prefix DT from the name). Here is your text. You can make your own Z-version of a dialog text in SE61, and then use that in SWNCONFIG general settings.

Are you using this RSWUWFML2 program or Extended notification to receive the email notification.
If Yes Choose 'One Message per Work item'.
If no, tell me from where you getting the email.

users as other task owners are receiving 5 emails notification for the same task in Sharepoint 2010. I have tried to add a 5 minutes delay on the other task owners workflow with no luck.any suggestions? Thanks

The Book confuses me. I still think assignment delay and leveling resources are the same. Here is the explanation from the book for the three concepts.
" Project offers two types of delays:
Leveling delay. This type of delay applies to tasks; it pushes out the start date for the task and all its resource assignments. It’s meant specifically for remov-ing resource overallocations. With the Leveling Delay field, you can remove
all leveling delays by choosing Resource➝Level➝Clear Leveling.
Assignment delay. This type of delay applies to a single assignment within a task. Suppose you have a security consultant coming in to help lock down your site. However, your employees have prep work to do before the consultant can get started.
You can assign everyone to the same “Try hacking into office” task but delay the consultant’s assignment by 5 days. "

Email Notification for Forwarded Workflow task

Hi all,
Is there a way to trigger an email notification for a Forwarded Workflow task?
That is when we forward a task from my SAP inbox to another SAP user's inbox by clicking on the fwd button, there is no email notification generated to the user notifying that a task has been forwarded to him/her? We have to manually send an email to the person notifying that I have fwded a task in his inbox.
Maybe something in SWNCONFIG...
But what?? not sure... We currently use RSWUWFML2 ...

Email notification for SHC and GR

Hi I would like to know is there are way to email a notification to the approver once shc is created? thus sends another notification to the next approver?
I would like to know if there is another way aside from the standard report RSWUWFMLEC?
If ever is this doable by just configuring Define Recipient of Notifications in spro? or any other way.
Has anybody also used BBP_ALERTING?
I also have a requirement that X days before recipient, there should be an email notification to the requester and the recipient.

I am new to workflow.
I need to stop an email notification for a user who receives it for PR release.
I checked earlier posts which stated some send email steps in workflow and extended notifications.
But I am not aware of any of this things.
Can you all please help me in resolving this? As i hardly know anything about workflow.
How can i check where this email notification gets triggered or from where it picks the user id?

Identify which workflow is for PR:
Go to T Code SWI2_FREQ
Select the appropriate date range
Work item Type should be (Sub-)Workflow
Execute
You will get the list of ALL workflows triggered during the given time interval
Hopefully, the developers in your system have maintained the correct Work item text and you can identify the PR workflow . Pick the WSxxxxxxxx number from the "task" Column for the PR Workflow
Go to SWDD and analyze this workflow, check for steps which are sending the emails.
(simplest possibility)
Once you find the step, see if this can be blocked for a given user or not (or will it block for everyone).
Reach there and give us the details of the email step and we shall work out a way.
BTW - did you try to ask for the Functional and Technical Specs for this ?
It should contain some details to help you.

I am working with MS Project 2013 and Project Server 2013.
I need to the send email notification to the program manager (or to a user) whenever the project manager changes the task finish date for a task. Comparison should happen with the baseline finish and the difference needs to be updated to the Program Manager
over mail.
How to configure/customize email notification for changes in MPP.
Please suggest.

You need to create event handler by code, as in the below link:

Send email notification in latest start and latest end

Hi all,
My requirement is to send email notification on latest start and latest end. For latest start, a notification needs to be sent to the manager asking him to start processing the Leave request.
Am not too concerned about the latest end, since the latest end takes the workitem(MODELED ACtion) to the next manager, where I can insert a email step in the workflow.
My concern is how can i send an email to the manager if he has not started processing the lave request within say 3 days

If you are looking to send notification ASA work item reaches a latest end then follow the below steps.
1. Open the step for which you have set the latest end and click latest end tab.
2. Under the same tab you will find a Drop down box you will find two entries 1 Display Text 2 Modeled choose the 1 option. and define the text in the task description by choosing Latest End description.
3. Choose the container element you might have populated the email address.
Now the configuration that you need to make sure to send a mail to external email id is SCOT settings if SMTP node is configured then this node would be sending mails to the
