Thank you, razmee209! I must have checked everything 1,000,000 times, but when I just rechecked settings - notification - mail, I now see that Alerts -- both Show in Notification Center and Show on Lock Screen -- were turned off. Can't believe I missed that, so THANK YOU!

Email notifications no longer work in iOS 7

Since I downloaded the ios 7 to my iphone 4, my email notifications no longer work. I have to actually go to my mail and refresh the page in order to get my email. My emails never come through right away anymore. I have gone to settings and made sure the alerts are turned on, and they are, but I still get no alert as to when an email comes in at that moment.
Can anyone tell me what is going on? What can I do to solve this problem? I am tired to having always refresh the mail in order to get my emails.

I am having a similar issue. I have an iPhone 5, and after updating to iOS 8 it uses the ringtone I have set as my default.. but will not keep the ringtones I have set for one person. I go back in and change it, and five minutes later it's back to the default ringtone. And it keeps doing this.

Now, for the above query, I am not sure that we have any such MTE in CCMS for user specific session, however, a small custom code can be used to achieve such functions
Here, you have to use some f Function Modules using CALL FUNCTION/FM in your abap code.
These function modules are from TH* family like TH_DISPLAY_USER_LIST and TH_USER_INFO. Now the coder can file out the results based on some 'Threshold', which are in spool generated - convert this into PDF(if you want). Now schedules this custom program in background for every 10 mins, and notification will come through it on email ID or any DL.

Some Mail Folders don't appear on iPhone/iPad

I have folders in my email account that appeared ok on iPhone 3G, but a few of them don't appear neither on the iPad or on my new iPhone 4 (more files missing on iPad than on iPhone 4).
Anyone know the reason?

Assuming the email account is an IMAP account and it must be for this, all server stored mailboxes with an IMAP account should be available with each email client used to access the account.

Some images don't appear in iPhone, but do on desktop.

Can someone download this PDF and let me know why the jpg images appear fine when viewing with desktop browser, but some images in the same document don't appear when viewing in Safari on the iPhone? Vector artwork and text show fine. Shows white space where JPGs should be.

I just heard about this day before yesterday at the InDesign Print and ePublishing Conference in Washington, DC. When using display on an iOS device JPEG 2000 is not supported. There are two flavors of JPEG: JPEG & JPEG 2000.

If I go to page 1 and 4 in your PDF and use Output Preview in Acrobat Pro (in Acro 9 > Advanced Print Production > Output Preview). Click on the Object Inspector tab and click on the image. It uses a JPEG 2000 filter.
Since I don't know how the image was created and saved, I'll leave it to you to resave it as normal JPEG.

Emails from one account don't appear in the Inbox of Mail since upgrading to Mountain Lion

I have a couple of email accounts - one is Gmail and one is a domain for my business. Previously Mail would show the Inbox and then a subfolder for each account under Inbox. Any messages received in the accounts would appear in both their own subfolder and also the Inbox. All my rules worked properly and life was good. Now, try as I might I cannot get my domain email account messages to show in the global/unified Inbox.
Originally the domain email folder was totally separate to the Inbox. By changing the IMAP Prefix (removing 'Inbox') I was able to get the folder at least under Inbox.
I purchased a new iMac and used Migration Assistant to move everything, therefore the problem persists. I had additional problems that my address book, rules and On My Mac folders didn't appear - but I solved that by finding the Containers folder and it is like a duplicate of Mail. I moved things from there to the Library/Mail and those particular issues resolved. But for the inbox issue, I have removed data from the Users/Library/Mail and from Library/Containers and started afresh - even deleted the Mail App and reinstalled from my original disc, but as soon as I set up the account it happens again.
Recently I have also started receiving errors when sending to use the Connection Doctor. I don't know if all this is related to a bug in Mountain Lion, the way I have things set up, or my domain/ISP.
Any suggestions on what to try, what it may be or ways around it would be great. I do have a Smart Mailbox for a Total Inbox, but of course the Rules don't work automatically on it. I'm getting sick of running Rules manually. Help please!!

I called the support service and she told me to delete my email address and re-enter it. I have no problem since then on receiving and sending emails.

Facebook Notifications on Hub don't appear

I updated my Z10 recently with os 10.1. After the update, I noticed that Facebook notifications dont appear in the hub like they used to.
I tried performing a system restore to the extent of losing all my contacts in full hope of it solving the problem. But still, the notifications dont appear in the hub.
I hope theres a solution to this asap.

Do you have Facebook enabled in your Hub settings and do you currently have notification enabled withing your Facebook settings? Tap the menu icon in the top right of the application. Select Account Settings - Notifications - Notifications from apps. Is Facebook for BlackBerry 10 checked?

I sent emails today but they don't appear in the "Sent" folder.

Where did they go?

That would explain why they are or are not saved *on the server*, but not why they are not saved locally...
The OP does not see them in his sent mail, local.
Or would the server parameter also control local copies...?

Just started using MackBook Air, love it. Can someone guide me please. When i send an email from MacBook Air, it does not appear in the "Sent" folder on the iphone or other computer?
How can i fix this issue, so that whatever email i send using yahoo or etc, appears on all, ie MacBook Air, iphone, windows.

That will happen under two conditions:
You have an IMAP mail account, such as iCloud.
You select the option to store sent messages on the server in the account settings.

Subscribed podcasts don't appear on iPhone app.

I subscribe to the Diane Rehm show podcast (both the normal show and the Friday News Roundup). However, my iphone never shows the Friday News Roundup podcasts. These do appear on my iTunes account. When I sync with iTunes, the podcast still don't get loaded onto the iPhone. How can I get the iOS app to see these podcasts?
BTW, this is almost the worst iOS app that there has been, second only to Apple's mapping software.

Playlists don't appear across all my iOS Devices?

After tens of hours of adding around 25k songs to iTunes Match, re-matching, fixing matches and artwork etc....I finally managed to be in a happy place.
So i then spent a couple of hours creating multiple and varied playlists e.g. Chillout, Dance, songs from 98 etc
This was done on my iPad and works a treat - the playlists appear and work when iTunes Match is turned on, and even when iTunes Match is off the playlists remain but only show the songs i've downloaded/played from the playlists.
However, the same playlists simply won't appear on my iPhone 4S when iTunes Match is on. It's just blank. I've turned on, off, reset, closed multitask, waited....nada...just doesnt want to appear. I was led to beleive playlists synced across all my iOS devices/shared accounts
Any ideas?

iTunes Match does not handle Smart Playlists well on iDevices.
Two routes are open, either move to the use of standard playlists for now, or backup the iphone - restore - recover from backup. Whilst the latter route often forces Songs onto the iPhone the issue with Smart Playlists proving unreliable will remain.
A further route would be to avoid iTunes Match on one or more iDevices, simply use a manual sync for these devices.

Music videos don't appear on iPhone even when Sync Music Videos is checked

Now I am in a perpetual restore loop. It finishes a restore and then asks me if I want to restore (again) or set it up as a new iPhone. I have no iTunes content on the phone. Going backwards here.

Songs don't appear on iphone 4 under artists but there with search

Certain songs and albums have disappeared on my iphone 4 when I try to find them via the artist. However, when I do a search, the songs are there and I can listen to them. This happened after the most recent update, of course.
And yes, I made sure the artists are entered correctly.

I'm having this problem too. I poked around and it looks like this is a common problem; there are several threads related to this. An example is https://discussions.apple.com/message/16210142#16210142. Basically, if an album or song that you import is marked as 'part of a compilation' the song and/or album won't show up when you list things by artist. To fix the problem choose the song and choose 'Get Info' from the 'File' menu. Uncheck the 'part of a compilation' box near to bottom of the window.
Unfortunately, you have to do this one song at a time. You cannot choose a bunch of songs and do this, because the 'part of a compilation' box doesn't appear.

Apps don't appear on iphone 4

I have an iphone 4. I have downloaded from the iphone an app. It appears to be downloading properly, until the
progress bar is complete. Then, the app disappears!
If I sync with my MacBook the app transfers to itunes - I can see it on iTunes! I can move it to different screens
in iTunes, it looks great. When I sync to my iphone, it is just not there. There is no error message.
If I search for it it is not found.
Also, if I put the app on screen 1 on my iTunes, and there are no other screens, and then sync, it will create
screen 2 within iTunes, move the app to screen 2 in iTunes, and then sync. When I look at the iphone,
there is no screen 2, and the app is not present.
I have tried resetting, rebooting, synching, deleting and re-downloading, and nothing helps.
The specific apps are iCSC (Clear Sky Chart) and RedBox.
I haven't seen this anywhere else!
Any ideas?

How can u downgrade. Apple doesn't allow that. Unless your iPhone 5 is jail broken. iOS 7 isn't even out yet. There Is no way u can get iOS 7 unless it was beta. And if so beta is having some issues.
