Email on phone not deleting once deleted from server

My phone use to delte emails from the phone once I downloaded then into outlook. Now I have to mannually delete them. I have the ccount set to delete on server if deleted on phone

This is how IMAP works, if you delete from one device it will also be deleted in the other devices.

Yes, it does. It is only in my email through Charter that it does not work. I restored all keyboard shortcuts to the default, but that did not fix the problem. I have a MacBook Air.
I called Charter also, who said it was a Mac problem.

I did what you've told me, new account and manually copied my files from Time Machine. I had lots of permissions problems, but at the end, almost everything is in order... It seems it had to be with some of the Apple Preferences, but I can't be sure, as most of them were dumped to the trash can.
I still don't have my Mail Rules back, unfortunately, although I did goggled some. It is a pity, as I had around 30 or 40 of them, getting my mail in order to each of its mailboxes, but it is a small price as the rest doesn't show the before syntoms.

How to delete the files from server through OAF page

I have a requirement in which i am creating files on server through my CO code.
Now once the page is rendered, i want to delete the files from the server.
Just wondering how can we achieve this.

all the methods in the processRequest() are called during loading of the page.
all the methods in the processFormRequest() are called during any action events on the page.
So Use the method in processFormRequest() : write a method in
that on which action you want to delete the file.

Cm.jar is working even after deleting the jar from Server

Hi,
To update the environment with the new changes we had manually copied the cm.jar into the respective folders but due to some class errors Deployment was not successful,So as a matter of trial we had deleted cm.jar from the respective folders and then we had ran the initialsetup,
Strange thing what we have observed is that all the custom logic which was initially deployed through cm.jar was still exisiting in the applicationserver and are getting executed smoothly
This is the process what we have followed
Method 1:
1)     Stop server
2)
Copy cm.jar to SPLBASE/etc/conf/root/WEB-INF/lib
Copy cm.jar to SPLBASE/etc/conf/XAI-APP/WEB-INF/lib
Copy cm.jar to SPLBASE/ splapp/businessapp
Copy cm.jar to SPLBASE/ splapp/ standalone/lib
3)     Run InitialSetup
4)     Start Server
Method 2:
1)     Stop server
2)     Set Exploded directories to true
3)     Initial Setup
4)
Copy cm.jar to SPLBASE/splapp/applications/root/WEB-INF/lib
Copy cm.jar to SPLBASE/ splapp/applications /XAI-APP/WEB-INF/lib
Copy cm.jar to SPLBASE/ splapp/businessapp
Copy cm.jar to SPLBASE/ splapp/ standalone/lib
5)     Run InitialSetup
6)     Start Server

1)     Cm packaging.
Even after removing cm.jar from all places manually my custom code which I deployed initially is working. I could run custom batch and custom algorithm. Very Strange. I am not sure what I missed or where application is referring to.
We want the old code to be removed permanently from server?Can you anyone help?

Hi Mr Shankar,
Even if you have deleted the cm.jar file from respective location.It do exist in splapp.war file.If you will extract that file you will find the cm.jar file in /splapp/web-inf/lib/cm.jar location.So whenever you will run the initialsetup it will restore the cm.jar.This thing is happening in your case also.So delete the file from splapp.war and rebuild the war.This will solve your issue.

4s marking NEW emails as 'read' as they are downloaded from server

I've got a 4s running iOS 6.1.3. Our work email is hosted on a POP3 server but but we have to set it up on our iPhones as a IMAP because setting it up as a POP3 causes a number of other problems. The problem I am having is that my PHONE is marking new emails as 'read' when it downloads them from the server before they have ever been view. I know this problem exists on the phone because they are not marked as read on the host server. I have logged into the email account online to verify this and they are not marked as read anywhere but on my iPhone. I have two different work email accounts, a Hotmail account and 2 Gmail accounts set up on this phone. I have this problem with BOTH work accounts but none of the others. One of the work accounts has ALLLL of the new emails marked as read. Earlier today I had 20 email scome thru all at once while I had my phone in my hand. I watched them all download and then watched as one by one they were all marked as 'read' without me doing anything. I am the only one in my office having this problem and I personally set up all of their iPhones just like mine. I have no clue what is wrong or how to fix it. It is not a new problem for me as it has been going on for over a year. But this weekend I missed a very important email because I didn't receive the new mail notification. Something like this could cost me my job.

Back up all data. Rebuild the mailbox.

External w3d file not loading once in the server

i have my director file that loads external files in w3d
format, but they are not loading once i upload them in the server,
they load on my local computer, but they stop loading once in
the server,
I have done some research, and I found out that there have to
be some 'correct mime types' you can read this thread here:

server? or what should i do to make my w3d files load?

Hi,
First check your extension names it most be ".w3d" and not
".W3D" or ".w3D". Second your shockwave 3d files must to be on a
folder called "dswMedia" for security reasons on the server. Any
external file you need for your movie online most to be there.
At last, before you send any command to your loaded .w3d file
inside your movie be shure to check it´s member estate, if you
tray to do something with it and isn´t ready this generate
problems or simply does nothing halting your movie.

Podcast will not load in safari from server, but will load in other Apps

Podcast will not load in safari from iWeb Page from server, but will load in Firefox and other web apps.
Here the problem: I have a podcast page made in iWeb. It is setting on a server with GoDaddy. When I try load page with Safari, I get where the Quicktime Playing Bars are a small Quicktime Logo w/? mark and will not download or play. But in Firefox, My iPad and in Windows side it will load and play. Also it play on a friends Macbook Pro in Safari. (Note it will play in my Safari after Firefox has play -it "very strange to me" like Firefox will open some port, but it will not stay open if quit Safari re-booth-it) I have remove the .plist for Quicktime & Safari. And clean out the Cache for Safari. Also have re-set the Firewall setting to Enable Stealth Mode only. Re-load the site to GoDaddy. This is happening to both Mac's in my network and in all users accounts.
My Network is a A&TT with a 2Wire w/wrieless turn off. going into and Airport Extreme Base Station w/N generation network. One computer is connected with and ethernet cable to the Airport extreme base station the other is a wireless contection.
I do feel this and network issue and I can't seem to solve-it. How can I get Safari to open the port and download and play-it on my network?

We've only discover this yesterday. One of our listeners sent me an e-mail about-it. With a little more research this morning. I've discover that everybody I've had check-it is have the same problem only with Safari 4.0.5. So I'm starting to feel that this is an Apple Safari Bug in 4.0.5 for the Mac only. It seems to be OK everywhere else on other devices. I agree in most cases this is not a problem. But when have older people who do not download into iTunes around the world it is to them. How did the photos get onto the iPad e.g. were they synced from a computer, taken with the iPad, copied to it via the camera conenction kit ? And were the albums created directly on the iPad - if they were and you then 'copied' photos into them, then if you then deleted the original photos from your iPad then you would also be deleting all pointers to them (so they will no longer show in the created albums).

I have Gmail that I access at home on my laptop, then of course I have the same account on my phone. So earlier I was on my laptop and deleted some email that still appeared on my phone afterwards. Shouldn't it have been deleted from my phone too? Thanks.
