Email Option in IR report - From where it was sent

Hello All,
I got this question from one of the users using Email in Interactive Report.How can I know from where the email came from, was it from Production or Development ?
Is there any way I can control the subject or from clause so that we can clearly identify from which system the email came from ?

I'm fully aware that I use my collegues public key to encrypt the message I send to him. But I would need his private key to display it decrypted. However when receive an email from his account, wich was sent from mine and encrypted with his public key from my side, it shows the decrypted message in my inbox and sent items. How does TB display the decrypted message from my collegues account w/o me having his private cert? If one could decrypt the public key encrypted message with the public key it would render the encryption system useless. So TB must store the pre-encrypted message somewhere and recognize, upon receiving it, that its actually the same message sent from the same thunderbird installation.
I assume that based on the following:
When I send an email from my collegues computer from his account to his account and encrypt it, it shows the expected "message can't be decrypted"-message when I receive it on my computer. So the reason for displaying the decrypted/non-encrypted message must be that TB stored the uncrypted content somewhere and recognize it's the same email upon receive.

Do you have Gmail? Google has some funny rules which might apply; see https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/configure-origin-address-for-multiple-gmail-accounts

Is there metadata of any kind on an export file that shows me the project file from where it was created?

Is there any way in looking at the meta data of a .MOV exported from Final Cut 7 that allows me to see what the project file was? I have this exported file, but I can't locate the original project file from where it was from. Was hoping there would be some sort of data that exists that shows me the directory. I've searched by filename and date created all over my drives but no luck.

Well, FCP comes from an age where it was assumed the editor had his $#%^ together.
EDIT: One of my mentors had the conviction that every day when you left the cutting room, you should leave it in such a way that a perfect stranger could walk in in the morning and pick up right where you left off. I really strive to live up to that ideal. I know we all get crazy busy and don't always properly archive our stuff, but it DOES save a lot of headaches down the road.

No, it will start over, and you should try to never pause an update, let it finish if at all possible.

Encrypted email shows up decrypted when recieved from collegues account where it was sent to, w/o his private cert installed

I have 2 email accounts in Thunderbird 24.5.0.
Account 1: My Account, s/mime and certs properly setup for signature/encryption
Account 2: Collegues Account, no s/mime etc. set up, no private cert installed in thunderbird. He has his certificates of course.
When I send an encrypted email from my account (1) to my collegues account (2), and I receive this email from his account (2) in my Thunderbird it comes up _de_crypted in my inbox. How is that possible w/o having his private certificate installed?
Also in certificate manager I only have my certificates installed.
Also in the sent box the message shows up decrypted, but source only shows the encrypted message.
If I understood encryption properly I use his public key/cert (wich I automatically get from a server) to encrypt a message to him. This message can only be decrypted using his private key/cert. Without me having his private key/cert installed I, as for my understanding, should not be able to read the email I have sent to him when I receive it in my thunderbird (ir in sent items)?
Is TB somehow recognizing that I myself had the message encrypted and therefor displays it decrypted when I receive it from my collegues account? It shows the message in clear text in send objects too even though the source is encrypted. What mechanism is behind that? Again, w/o my collegues private cert/key I should, as for my understanding, not be able to read the mail, neither in sent nor inbox...

How can I view customer information from SOST report to whom mail was sent to?

Process I have followed:
I run F.27 transaction to send the monthly account statements to customer, I can see the detail of the mails sent to customers from SOST report but a recent requirement has come up and I want to see the detail of customer e.g. Customer Number, Customer Name e.t.c. these details are not visible in SOST report. As I am sending mail to multiple customers hence I can not use the display document feature to view them independently.
In SOST report I can see only the email address to whom the mail was sent to, but how can I see the customer's number or Customer name to whom mail was sent to. Is there any other way to view this detail?

This works! But when I assign C_FINAA-MAIL_BODY_TEXT to a text lets say:
*C_FINAA-MAIL_BODY_TEXT in the process exit 2310*
C_FINAA- MAIL_BODY_TEXT = 'Hello'.
It does not display in the email body, do you know what might be the problem here?

Howto find out location from where class was loaded

Hi all.
Is there any way I can find out from which directory, jar or url a certain object/class was loaded?
Somewhere in the code the object is instantiated (class is loaded). E.g. like so:
SomeObject someObjectInstance = SomeObjectFactory.getInstance();
Can I use this object to find out from where in the file system it was loaded? E.g.
someObjectInstance.class.fooMethod() or
someObjectInstance.class.getClassLoader.barMethod()

Usage is actually like so:
MyClass myInstance = (...)
myInstance.getClass().getResource("/package/MyClass.class") returns the url object, pointing to the class;
if you want a string instead, simply append toString():
myInstance.getClass().getResource("/package/MyClass.class").toString()

Why can't I have a sent icon to let me check if an email message was sent so I know the recepient received it.

What email service are you using? And what is your operating system? Usually the emails you send will appear in a "Sent" or "Sent items" (or similar) folder, separate from your email inbox. Are you able to find that folder?
Any email that appears in the "Sent" folder has been successfully sent. If it's stuck in the "Outbox" folder, that means there was a problem and it has not yet sent.

Can an iPhone 4 be in any way repaired in a different country than from where it was purchased?

I purchased an iPhone 4 in the US around 2 years ago. It recently got a hardware fault (-1) iTunes error. It has run out of warranty so I was wondering if it could be fixed in the country I am in now? I live in New Zealand. App support said it couldn't be repaired in NZ it had to be shipped back to the US.
Could it be fixed by a third party repair service? Or could I do it myself? Maybe I could buy the parts then open it up and repair the so called 'baseband hardware problem' myself.
Also the back camera and the lock button don't work. As far as I know there is no water damage.

There are no Apple parts available for sale.

Need to revert to my old OS on iPad. Cannot. Tried using old backup but this Trojan horse type software has corrupted my ability to do so. Tried emailing but it bounced back unacknowledged. I was sent notice that I can't get support. Christmas 2012 gift.

Wasted an entire day trying to purge my older computer which is linked to this iPad. I reset my iPod and ended up deleting and wiping clean but it's not factory but the aggressive 7.2 which returned. I want my old OS back. Their software has destroyed my ability to use my iPad for the purposes I intended it for.
I don't do social media other than Pinterest and I want the fluffy stuff gone. They need to forget trying to get me into the clouds and fix this iPad so I can use it for real world applications.
You can only keep resetting so often. There has been hardware issues almost since purchase because it crashed several times even before updated fiasco.

Ralph9430, thanks for responding but the fact that they don't support AppleCare on a unit less than a year old despite being an older version is wrong.
It suppose to be from date of purchase so their not taking responsibility for the maiming of people's computers and their subsequent arrogance in not removing it is going to their undoing.
We have purchased iPhones, Mac Pro, iPad, iPod touches in the nano, shuffle and touch versions in the past as well as the more solid 80gig version. I
I am still using 3G model phone and I can no longer find apps to use with it because Apple feels I don't deserve new apps.
My children are using iPhone 4 and my daughter was seeking to upgrade to the newest model when it becomes available. They are social, I am not and I deserve the software I paid for. It should always be an option.
I can tell you that this particular oversight is causing me to look elsewhere for future purchases and I will not be recommending Apple to others as I have in the past.

well in case you want to transfer the data fetched from a report to XI then you can use ABAP proxies (i think this is what you were looking for)

If you take the phone to any service center in India, they can tell whether the phone originated in India or not. If not, they will simply hand the phone back to you. So, you're gonna have to ask your friend, like it or not. Fact is, your phone is not from India & thus you are not gonna get any warranty or service support in India.

My wife was looking for me last Friday morning with the app find my phone. The app showed that I was not where I said I was and she does not believe me. How is the explanation for this mistake, I know where I was at but she is very upset.

My wife has a Samsung galaxy 4s, and she was looking for me last Friday (09/19/2014) morning with the find my phone app. I have a iPhone 5S and the app placed me in a location about 5 or 6 miles away from where I was actually at. My wife if very up set and thinks I am lying to her. Is there a way to get here the proper information so she does not have to feel like I am a lier. This is a big problem and I need help. I can get video but it is very expensive and takes a court order. I truly need help with this I have kids and this is problem is destroying our marriage.

How was your wife using the Find My iPhone app from a Samsung phone? But, that question aside, your wife should educate herself on how GPS works, especially on a cell phone. GPS signals can be interfered with by trees, buildings, clouds. Off by several miles would be unusual, though.
If your wife is tracking your cell phone and not believing what you tell her, you may want to consider counseling as there are some very serious issues that go way beyond the technology.

I recieved a photo via text on my iphone and then I synced my iphone to my macbook and now it is in iphoto. I already know that the date on the photo per the tag that shows up on it in iphoto is NOT the date the photo was actually taken. I need article or literature or something confirming the tag is from when it was sent to the iphone and/or when it was imported. I greatly appreciate some assistance!

All I am trying to do is find something on a forum board or article etc stating that the the date showing in iphoto could be the date it was imported or synced or sent to me and not the actual date taken.
The date on the photo could be anything because you can edit the date with iPhoto or any of 100 apps, free and paid for. So, the date on the photo will prove nothing, I'm afraid.

Can you schedule a report to send to a email address that is pulled from a database field?

Currently, we are collecting email addresses in a database field. We want to send the generated reports to only these email addresses. Is there a way to add a dynamic value to the "To:" field when scheduling a report?
The goal is to schedule the reports and let them be sent to these addresses so it removes the step of manually entering the addresses.

It's not clear what tool you are using to schedule your reports.This may require a 3rd-party tool. See list of such tools at: http://www.kenhamady.com/bookmarks.html. My Visual CUT software allows you to drag & drop an email field/formula from the report itself into the "Email To" option, to dynamically drive email options by the data in the report. Alternatively, it allows you to use an SQL Query or a Text file to specify email addresses.- Ido
