Email order: most recent first, not last

Please, how do I change the setting on my ipad 2 to show the most recently received first. Right now I have to scroll up (down) to get to my recently received emails. It used to be fine on ipad1. Thanx. TT.

I did a test in my environment as the capture below. It works properly.

Not sure why this is happening and it is a pain. Once the Purchased list sorted by 'date added' go to the left most column and select the top - in my Purchased list the new items go to the bottom and I drag them back up to the top position.

Order by most recent date not working in CAML Query

I am trying to pull items from an announcements list and I would like the results sorted by most recent first, but it is coming back as least recent first. Can someone tell me what is wrong with the query? I even tried "Modified" and I get the

Is there a way to have photos apper with most recent first on the camera ios 8' iphone 6

IS there a way to set my photos in ascending order rather than decending in my camera? I want the most recent first. Ios 8 iphone 6

I just noticed this tonight! I'm kicking myself for updating iTunes! I have well over 30.000 photos and now they are all out of order.
I upgraded to 10.6.3.25 and all the photos are sorted by date now and none of the sub-folders are recognized.
This has happened before and it took them over a year to fix it. I wish they would give us a preference as to how we want our images displayed. The whole photo cache thing is so ridiculous! Mine is up to 11GB right now.

Agree. Mail search results are nearly useless, sorted in effectively random order. Major Apple FAIL.
Removing the other search buttons (from, subject, etc.) is also frustrating. Went from one-click simplicity to having to type in 'from:'. Serious inconvenience. Completely failed the WWSS (What would Steve Say?) test.

Hi. Upgraded to IoS7 and seem to have lost feature in settings/mail to limit email to most recent 50 messages etc. where is it now hidden?

Others have complained about this. Funny, though, my iphone and ipad on iOS 7 do not download all email, just some. But I have found no settings that will designate how many at most to download.
Maybe it has to do with the email service. For me, icloud works as it should, along with my company's exchange and personal domain.
Perhaps there's a hidden bug Apple will have to address.

Welcome to the Apple Support Community!
It sounds like your iPod is not showing in iTunes when you connect it and that is what is not allowing you to sync. Please review the attached article to help you troubleshoot this connection.

If you had not already setup iCloud on the device before you lost it, then no - there is no way. If you had already setup iCloud, your data would automatically be in iCloud.

Planned activities assignment block not sorted by most recent first

Hi,
I have implemented BADI CRM_BP_UIU_BT of enhancement spot CRM_UIU_BP_ENHANCEMENT in order to increase the number of results in the planned activities assignment block on the BP overview page to 250 as the standard is 100 and this works fine.
The problem is that the most recent transactions are not displayed first.
Can someone tell me how where i can implement som ecode to influence the initial selection of the data so it only looks up the most recent 250.
I don't believe this can be done in a sort on the BSP page, as only 250 records would have been selected. If the BP has 250 or under this works fine, but as soon as they have more than 250 the sort obviously doens't include the other planned activities.
If someone can suggest as way to do this I would really appreciate it.

POP email loading Old Messages, and not most recent messages: (not Gmail)

Hi,
I'm having an issue where my iPhone is loading old emails instead of the most recent ones on the server. I see the messages download in outlook (leave message on server). But my iPhone will download the most recent message for awhiel and it will stop.
I have it set to display 25 messages. It used to always download the most recent messages and push the old messages out. (i'd have to hit download 25 more to see more). But now it no longer does this. Also, when i delete a few messages, it downloads some messages, but not the most recent ones. Also tried completely deleteing the account and starting over. But after it fills up, the same thing happens. It worked fine for a few weeks, then it started having this problem.
I've tried deleting all email, but eventually it fills up and then starts doing the same thing.
Thoughts and help would be appreciated.

Those messages which iphone can't get are Junk mails..
First remove the account,
Go to Setting/mail and choose "show 50 or more recent messages".
Add your account again.
go back to mail settings
choose your account at the top of add account...
go to advanced
below the deleted messages
remove... choose "after one day"
under the incoming setting, delete from server choose "7 days" (which is quite enough time to keep)..
Thats all.. Fixed on my phone..
This phone is not your real mailbox. Use it to check only or respond After that delete them...
Don't keep your mails in it. Use Mail, Entourage or Outlook etc..

Purchase Order most recent date

Hi,
I have a report and want to retrieve a list of Purchase Order numbers related to several items. However, I don't want all the POs, but I only want the most recent PO for each item.
I am trying the following:
SELECT docnum FROM opor WHERE docdate = max(docdate)
but I am getting the following error:
Msg 147, Level 15, State 1, Procedure getPONoSpendAnalysis, Line 20
An aggregate may not appear in the WHERE clause unless it is in a subquery contained in a HAVING clause or a select list, and the column being aggregated is an outer reference.
Any ideas of how I can go about this?

Most recent episode not automatically downloading

Hello,
My podcast seems to be valid according to feedvalidator.org, but it's not automatically downloading the most recent episode when I subscribe to it. I've read about other's having this same issue but it was always because they had errors in their RSS code.

I'm having this problem on a few of my podcasts, but not all ... it's weird.

There are a couple of errors but they are quick fixes:

You don't need the </itunes:image> at the end... should be just:
<itunes:image href="http://brandcast.websound.com/feed/7/0/chrysler1.jpg"/>
I think your problem lies with your latest podcast episode, which is the first that the iTunes client will download, it has a mismatched filetype:

Since the file is an MPEG4 audio file (.m4a) it should be type="audio/x-m4a"

Iphoto and facebook - most recent photos not showing up in file upload!!

on iphoto, all the photos are fine and the most recent photos i import are in the recent import folder like they should be. i'm trying to upload a new profile picture to facebook but when i go to file upload and then click on iphoto to find the picture, it's not there, along with the rest of the recently imported photos. the most "recent photos" when i go to file upload are photos i imported from september 24, 2009 and i have imported a bunch of pictures after that date that aren't showing up when i go to file upload. i already tried rebuilding my library and all that but it didn't do anything. help?

I just started having this same problem. New events are not appearing in the media browser section of the file upload window. The last event to show up is from October 12th. I tried several different websites and browsers.
They are fine in iPhoto and the files show up in the "All Images" section of the Finder.

Chronologically display email with most recent at top?

How do I display my most recent e-mail chronologically at the top on iMac with OS X Lion? I am a somewhat new Mac user and love the mail set up with OS X Lion, but I prefer to have the most chronologically recent emails displayed at the top, vs. at the bottom. Can anyone walk me through how to do this?

Nevermind. I actually figured it out right after I posted this.... In case anyone else has this problem,
In the mail menu, go to Mail, View, Sort By, and make sure there is a check mark in Descending. Hope I can help someone else.

Contact order: I sort first names/Last: I enter phone numbers by priority, Most used (home or mobile), then work, then fax, and save. The next time I use the phone, the order has been changed to work fax, home, mobile. Using hands free in auto is a trip

This is a pain when the phone re-sorts the order, when I need the most used number to be first using hands free in my car. Who can get this corrected in the iphone software to leave the order in which I imput numbers alone.

My daughter has had her Razr for about 9 months now. About two weeks ago she picked up her phone in the morning on her way to school when she noticed two cracks, both starting at the camera lens. One goes completely to the bottom and the other goes sharply to the side. She has never dropped it and me and my husband went over it with a fine tooth comb. We looked under a magnifying glass and could no find any reason for the glass to crack. Not one ding, scratch or bang. Our daughter really takes good care of her stuff, but we still wanted to make sure before we sent it in for repairs. Well we did and we got a reply from Motorola with a picture of the cracks saying this was customer abuse and that it is not covered under warranty. Even though they did not find any physical damage to back it up. Well I e-mailed them back and told them I did a little research and found pages of people having the same problems. Well I did not hear from them until I received a notice from Fed Ex that they were sending the phone back. NOT FIXED!!! I went to look up why and guess what there is no case open any more for the phone. It has been wiped clean. I put in the RMA # it comes back not found, I put in the ID #, the SN# and all comes back not found. Yet a day earlier all the info was there. I know there is a lot more people like me and all of you, but they just don't want to be bothered so they pay to have it fix, just to have it do it again. Unless they have found the problem and only fixing it on a customer pay only set up. I am furious and will not be recommending this phone to anyone. And to think I was considering this phone for my next up grade! NOT!!!!
