    UPDATE
Hey this is totally weird. I haven't done jailbreak at all and I won't But how is possible that default apps such as Safari and Appstore have the problem I've mentioned before and Skyfire works perfectly without any trouble.
    So to sum up:
Safari: loading stucks after few seconds on wi-fi, mostly doesn't load pictures
Appstore: loading stucks after few seconds on wifi and it keeps saying "loading"
Facebook and Youtube: doesn't load pictures
SKYFIRE: loads everything without any trouble
and completely everything works on Edge...
    So tell me W.T.F. :-D

  • Can't get Godaddy outgoing server to work in Mail - OK in Outlook

No matter what I try, I just cannot get the Godaddy outgoing server to work in Mail, but it works OK in Outlook for Mac which I don't really want to use if I can avoid it.
I've tried all my 3 accounts and none of them work with sending.  All Ok receiving.
Tried smtpout.secureserver.net with and without SSL, and with all sorts of ports 80, 3535, etc.
    Nothing works.
Can anyone suggest any solution or more in depth troubleshooting methods.  I feel it's some security issue which Outlook seems to have more settings for.
    Thanks.

Just for clarification for the OP these are two different approaches to get to the same file.
1.)While holding down the option key, >>Shows the hidden  users Library (~/Library.)
    or
2.) select Finder>Go>Go To Folder from the Finder menu bar. Paste the line into the window
    ~/Library/Containers/com.apple.mail
Using the Go to Folder option will take you directly to the file itself in your user Library (~/Library,) no option key necessary.

Move the folder com.apple.mail to your desktop. You must move the entire folder, not just the contents.
AND if you are recommending moving the entire folder you are better off going to the /Container:
    ~/Library/Containers/

  • When I try to send a link to a page from Safari, I get a message saying that sending the message to the server failed.  It places a copy in the outbox.  All other email and safari functions work properly.  Ipad 2 IOS 7.1

My Ipad2 works fine except when I try to email myself a link to a safari webpage.  I get an error message saying that the message failed to connect to the server.  It says that a copy of the message has been left in the outbox.  I cannot get the message from the outbox.  All other email and safari functions work as expected.
I have cleared data and cookies, powered down, and done a reset.  Nothing seems to help.

Typing in additional text seems to get the job done.  This seems to be a feature of the latest IOS update, I have never had the problem before the last update.
I use the box with the arrow just to the left of the URL block at the top of the page to send myself links to pages of interest.  Adding the extra text seems like a pointless step, but it does work.
    Thanks.

  • How do I get my outgoing server to work on my Iphone 5

I bought my Iphone 5 from Apple when it was first available. I have had an ATT acount for many years along with an MSN email account. I have had issues with sending email from my IPhone 5 since I have recieved this phone. I have deleted and readded the email application numberous times(sometimes 10 times a day), I have reset my phone a number of times, I have also changed my email password a number of times and readded to both my incoming server and outgoing server passwords. I have spoken to ATT tech support, Apple Tech support and Msn tech support multiple times, they have not been able to help me. I sometimes have  gotten it to work for a few minutes to a couple of hours but as soon as I try to send an email from my phone again it will no longer send an email from my phone. I use my phone for work and this is very annoying as I have to use my email for work.I need help!  I have had Iphones since the first Iphone and Mac computers for over 10 years but I am now over it, at this point I would not recommend Iphones. I am now at the point of buying a phone that I can use and it will not be an Apple Iphone.

jenylark wrote: I have deleted and readded the email application numberous times(sometimes 10 times a day),
No, you simply have not.  It is not possible to delete the email application on the iPhone.
Let's assume that the email accounts were deleted and re-added, if this is done properly, the email accounts simply work.
So delete whatever account is on the phone, add them back correctly and it will simply work.
Follow the instructions provided by the email provider to add the account to the device.

  • TS3276 Email outgoing server issues!

  • Yahoo email is no longer working properly

As of a couple of days ago, I am having a problem with Yahoo mail on my iPhone 4.  The Mail app keeps telling me that it's checking for mail and then downloading messages (e.g. "1 of 12"), but then no new messages appear.  I also have intermittent trouble deleting messages or moving them to folders.  I tried re-associating the Deleted folder on my iPhone with the Trash folder on the server (in Advanced options), and that seemed to help the deleting problem for a while, but then I stopped seeing new emails in my inbox.  This morning I completely deleted the account and added it again, but it is still having problems, both with having all of my emails show up in my inbox, and in deleting / moving emails.  Interestingly enough, if I search my inbox for a particular message, and tell it to Continue Search on Server, it will find and download the messages from the server.  I also have an Exchange email account set up on the iPhone, and that's working properly -- the issue is limited to Yahoo mail
    Help?

I have been having this same issue.   Tried to work with Apple support... They went on a fishing expedition trying to diagnose.   Looks like a Yahoo! problem.   Opened a support case with them, but haven't heard anything.
It did seem to work again briefly this morning, but is now broken again.   The same problem is effecting both my iPhone and iPad.
Anyone have any further insight into what to do.  Changing email providers is not really an option at this point.   I've had the email address for 10+ years, and really can't take the time or afford to do this.   Probably serves me right for using a free service initially, but what can I do now!
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Jack

  • Can't send emails - outgoing server issues

Randomly my phone won't let me send an email. It sits in the Outbox unsent and never sends.
But strangely I'm able to receive emails. I have 3 email accounts set up on my phone, I've never had a problem until now - Over the weekend I updated to iOS 7.0.2 this may have changed something in the settings....
When I go to send it's says "CANNOT SEND MAIL, CHECK THE ACCOUNT SETTINGS FOR THE OUTGOING SERVER" - I've checked the settings, but don't know what i'm looking for
    Can anyone assist?
    thanks
    VB

Mail keeps information about outgoing servers in a separate list, independently of any specific mail account. The account settings just associate one of the available outgoing servers with each account. Deleting an account doesn't remove the outgoing server from the list. Orphaned or dangling outgoing server entries (i.e. not associated with any account) sometimes cause sending problems, so you may want to fix that, even though it could very well have nothing to do with your problem -- actually, it could very well be that you don't have a problem, and this is just a transient error.
Go to Preferences > Accounts > Account Information > Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP), choose Edit Server List from the popup menu, and delete any servers that shouldn't be there. The Edit Server List sheet shows the account each outgoing server is associated with.
Alternatively, Mail comes with some scripts available under the Script menu when that menu is enabled. There is a Manage SMTP Servers there that finds any unused outgoing mail servers and gives you the option to delete them. Type "Script Menu" in Mail Help for more information on this feature.

  • My email accounts are not working properly.

I have a gmail account as well as an Outlook account.  They will not push the emails at all, and even when I get the emails to download, they don't display properly...only one line of the 3 I want displayed, and when I click on the email to open it, it won't load.  The Outlook account is worse than the gmail account, but neither of them are working properly.  Even worse, the phone will not allow me to erase the accounts!  I click on delete account in the settings menu, and it gives me the "deleting" screen, but it just sits and spins for hours.  To complicate matters, I can't get the email accounts to delete from my ipad either.  Please help!

Have you enabled the less secure application option in your gmail account. I think is is needed to add a gmail account to Thunderbird or any other email client software these days.
I do not know anything about iCloud. I am not an Apple person.

  • Outlook 2007 - hotmail not not populating in outlook - incoming/outgoing server not working

Hi - I am switching computers and have reinstalled Outlook 2007.  When I add my account  it asks for incoming/outgoing mail server information from my ISP.   I am unable to look on previous laptop set up as the "repair"
portion of account is not highlighted and I can't get to that level to see it. I contacted my ISP (Comcast) who provided: Incoming Server: mail.comcast.net and Outgoing Server: smtp.comcast.net.  They also provided incoming mail server: port
number 995 (POP3) 110 (POP3); and outgoing mail server: 465(SMTP) 587(SMTP).   This is not working.     Who has a solution?
P.S. Comcast is my new provider as of 3 weeks ago and no issues with old laptop--also that would not have been my incoming/outgoing server information then.  thank you

  • My web-based email downloads aren't working properly. Is this a plugin issue?

Either since upgrading to Firefox 4.0 (and updates) or getting Adobe Reader updates, my download configuration is no longer working properly. For example, when I am downloading (from my web-based email) attachments such as images, word docs, excel docs, this is what happens:
    1) I am NOT asked if I want to Save or Open
    2) The document opens awkwardly in the correct application, attempts to PRINT immediately, then quickly closes and re-opens in Adobe Reader!
I cancel the printing as quickly as I can, but am baffled. I'm guessing it's a plugin issue, but don't know how to resolve that.
I know it's a Firefox issue, because I tried in Opera and it works normally. Please help, thanks!

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Cannot get OSX Server to work properly

I've followed various tutorials online in a bid to set up a home server.
I thought I'd got everything right until I tried to login to a 'new user account' via the 'other selection' on the login screen of my mac mini.
I don't know where I've gone wrong. Has anyone had this problem?
Users can screen share the server or remotely connect to folders but they can't log into the mac mini server or via other devices

I'm not sure what it is you're trying to do. Can you explain what Server services you're running and what you're trying to do with them?
For example, I could describe how to access FTP and Wiki services, but that wouldn't help if you aren't running those services.
I had to revise my initial Server install to properly configure my LAN. The best advice received was from MrHoffman, and that was to get DNS service properly configured on the LAN.
I had been pointing to DNS servers outside my LAN. The proper way was to first choose a subnet (MrHoffman advised against using the ubiquitous 192.168.x.x and use 172.16.xx or 10.x.x.x instead), then configure forward and reverse lookups manually. (I had to delete those initially configured by Server and reconfigure my own.)
This link should help: Hoffman Labs. The description for DNS configuration is for an earlier version of Server, but it works with Mountain Lion Server as well.
Essentially, each client should be configured to point to your Server's LAN IP for DNS service. The Server should be configured to point to itself for DNS service, specifically 127.0.0.1 instead of its LAN IP address. Make sure you run the tests to make sure DNS is configure and working properly.
If that doesn't help, you'll have to provide more detail on what it is you're trying to do.

  • Email outgoing server

    Hello:
I am presently using my email host's outgoing server, but they have problems (quite often). So, I assume I can use Verizon's outgoing email server, but I do not know what it is. I use SMTP at the moment, but may use IMAP later, so the names of both servers (and corresponding ports) would be appreciated.
    Thank you in advance,
    Hans L

What are my incoming (POP) and outgoing (SMTP) mail server addresses?:
If your email address ends with @twc.com:
    POP Server Address: mail.twc.com
    SMTP Server Address: mail.twc.com
If your email ends with @rr.com:
POP Server Address: pop-server-location(for example: nyc)-rr.com (Note: your individual POP server name will have the same ending as your TWC Mail address, i.e., [email protected])
SMTP Server Address: smtp-server-location(for example: nyc)-rr.com (Note: your individual POP server name will have the same ending as your TWC Mail address, i.e., [email protected])
    Good Luck
