Email outlook 2010

Question

I have tried to set up my company's owa 2010 for the past month on my curve. They upgraded from 2003. Every time I attempt to set up 2010 it takes about 10 tries through the setup program. Finally, I receive the congratulations email and receive all emails from that day. Following that process, I always try to send an email but it is immediately "red xed" and never leaves my phone. In addition, I cannot receive any additional emails after a few minutes. Following this, usually within the hour, i receive a password verification request in which bb will not accept my password.
I don't quite understand why I can receive a bunch of emails and then it stops. This is not an Enterprise account. If anyone has advice please let me know. Both my company and service provider have confirmed they're not causing this.

Hi and Welcome to the Community!
In my experience, OWA can be very difficult to configure via the device interface to BIS (Setup > Email Settings). In my case, I was never successful via the device interface. Rather, I needed to use a PC/browser and log into my carriers web interface to BIS...you can find yours via this portal:

You will have to create credentials for BIS -- I found the simplest way to do that actually via the device interface...create the credentials there, then they will already be configured on your carriers BIS website (from the above link) for your use from a PC/browser.
Now, use the link above (from a PC/browser) and log into your carriers BIS website (using the credentials you created on your device interface). Then very carefully follow the instructions in this KB to configure BIS for your OWA email. Go very slowly and do each and every step carefully...especially the mailbox name...that's usually the trickiest and most crucial.

That all said, it is still possible that it won't work. There are scenarios where OWA admins have done one of two things:
Implemented ISA -- this prevents BIS from integrating the account
Blocked, in their firewall, the ability for the BIS servers to access the email server
